Justicar is the divine embodiment of the concept of justice, retribution and punishment. The utter lawlessness and criminality of many parts of Khazan has drawn its attention, and it has arrived to attempt to return some semblance of order.

Justicar has existed in this form only a short time, having taken it specifically to enter the world of Khazan. It is not entirely used to the constraints of its 'armor' (not plates of metal, actually, so much as divine will made manifest), and is slowed somewhat by it. To combat this difficulty, Justicar has decided to challenge evil in the Arena of Khazan -- the rules and regulations all but force the enemy to attack (a situation very disadvantageous for them, thanks to Justicar's divine abilities), and the constraints of the arenas themselves prevent the enemies from getting too far away for Justicar to attack.


Personality: "Let the punishment fit the crime." These six words can essentially describe Justicar's entire 'personality', as it is obsessed with meteing out judgment on criminals, villains, and other transgressors of the law. Justicar does adapt to its surroundings very quickly, however, the better to understand the laws and regulations of the planes it visits.

As the avatar of holy justice, Justicar's primary ability is to reflect the attacks of enemies back upon themselves. Any physical blow, strike, blast or other attack that would strike Justicar is instead re-directed, venting virtually its full force on its originator. Only the most powerful of attacks can penetrate this defense, and even then only a small fraction of the damage gets through.

Justicar's mind, as well as his body, is protected from attack by holy energy. Anyone foolish enough to do so much as probe its defenses has their mental assault reflected back, striking at their own thought processes instead of Justicar's. Even the most dedicated psychics of Khazan can barely affect Justicar with a psionic thrust, and not many have the mental fortitude to withstand the counter-assault.

Slicing Attack

  • Armor Piercing This attack ignores normal defenses which are not Reinforced.
Judgement, Justicar's sword, although originally nothing more than a finely crafted sharp chunk of metal with a handle, is now much more. Infused with a small fraction of his power, it now slices through concrete and other similar substances (like an enemies armor) like a hot knife through evil butter. It is still not powerful enough for Justicar's purposes, however, and he eagerly awaits more 'upgrades'.
