Cyberphant

FBI Chief Arnolds had his hands full. The death toll Mack Acres was responsible for was the highest among all other criminals. Arnold’s team has been tracking his trail for a while. They’ve managed to catch Acres a few times. but each time he’s managed to escape and disappear completely while Arnold’s team suffers numerous casualties. It was obvious that this guy was as depraved as they come. After breaking out of prison for murder and rape of a little girl he goes off and kills his only living relatives, his grandparents. Their body parts were positioned at his hideout in a certain order around alchemic circle. Researchers suspect that it was some type of pact for the devil. That was the strange thing, because Acres has never shown any signs of interest in the occult up till that point. It must have been something he picked up from prison. After the murder of his grandparents Acres’ started becoming more erratic, spread out and more precise with his murders. We assume that he may have joined some sort of cult because all the murders have been occurring in different places at similar times. The odd thing is all the evidence for these murders points to Acres, especially since each crime scene the words “Lesion was Here” are splattered in blood.

Interrogation Room

Chief Arnolds enters the room and slams a stack of papers on the table. Sitting down on the other side of the table is Mack with an amused face and his hands cuffed behind his back.

“Mack Ashton Acres, code name Lesion, responsible for hundreds of murders where the victim’s entrails are decorated on the floors, ceilings and walls of every room.”

Mack grins after that last remark, “What can I say I’m an artist.”

The Chief slaps the table with both hands and stares intently at Mack’s face, “You’re a bloody, god damn murderer and I hope you fry for this.”

Mack shrugs causing the Chief to be even more pissed. The Chief turns around to calm down his nerves before facing Mack with an even more focused expression.

“Ok let’s try this again; you’re here because the actress Ms. Cecilia Orlando is still missing. A witness saw you enter in her trailer. You were also at the scene of the crime where her blood was found. What I want to know is where you went, what you did, and who were your accomplices?”

“Awe Chief, I’d be happy to tell you all the details of my murder.”

“Hmm, by the way where do I start first?”

“Start by how you came to find Ms. Orlando.”

“Yes, yes, actually it was by chance that I found her. I was just coming from a local strip club. The women there were as ripe as tangerines and their bloody juices rained over the perverted bodies of lustrous men." Mack sighs, "That was indeed a nice morning, although I still had an appetite for an even sweeter kill. That’s when fate showed me my Cecilia Orlando. She was in the middle of filming her movie ‘When Innocents Lie.’ At first glance I was impressed by how she portrayed an innocent twelve year old girl even though she was already over eighteen. I just had to have her for myself. You see, it’s not often that I find novelties like her, how could I not take her and see what her insides look like.”

"You're beginning to get off topic," says the Chief without emotion.

"Oh don't worry, I'm still getting to the fun part."

Mack grins a bit wider as he continues telling his story.

"After the shoot Ms. Orlando starts walking to her trailer. This was as good as any time to get my girl. I go and open the door and she has the nerve to scream at me. I laugh it off and make a face that she can really scream at. It was really impressive, it looked like a combination between leech and a human squid."

"Stop exaggerating and just stick to the story."

"Really, I'm being serious. Anyways, Cecilia faints and I hear someone trying to bust down the door. I check the window and realize that it was security.”

The Chief sarcastically replies, “Don’t tell me you killed them too.”

Mack shakes his head, “Oh I wish I had but I was anxious at that moment. I really wanted some alone time with my dear Cecilia. I did the next best thing I shape shifted into Cecilia and put on her jacket. I hid the real Cecilia in a pile of clothes she had laying around. Security busted and asked me questions about a man walking around. I told them that they were incompetent assholes who needed to stop making things up.”

“Stop right there,” says the Chief, “I want the facts and all you’re giving me is this silly little story. Give me what I want and nothing else. DO I make myself clear?”

Mack makes a scornful face but then it subsides and turns into a smile.

“I am giving you what you want, but I can obviously see that patience isn’t a virtue of yours. So here’s a word of advice, you’ll never find out anything with that sort of attitude, although you may find something even worse.”

For a second that sounded like a threat, the Chief was thinking of responding to Mack by knocking some sense into him but decided that he wouldn’t get much and would just have to play along for now.

“Fine, just hurry along and stop wasting my time.”

Mack nods in approval and continues talking.

“After the guards leave I grab Cecilia and stuff her in a suitcase. I go to the guards and ask them to make up for breaking the door by helping me with the luggage. They take it to my new car or as I should put it Cecilia’s Porsche. Her keys were in her jacket so I was already prepared to leave. Just before I pull out of the driveway her boyfriend Kevin something pounds on the window saying he needed to talk to me. Apparently he was having some relationship issues with Cecilia. I had already wasted enough time with the guards so I zoom off and leave Kevin in the dust.”

I take Cecilia to my own private warehouse in the desert. I reverted back to my normal self and tied Cecilia to a gurney at the warehouse.

"I then sedate Cecilia so that I can take my time peeling off her skin. It's an extremely messy yet delicate procedure, but totally worth the effort to see that fear of death in her eyes. Midway through the process the police start showing up. I really wasn’t expecting that to happen, turns out someone called them after Cecilia left and didn’t respond to any of her calls. I was at the warehouse for a few days working on Cecilia. I was covered in blood at the time so fooling them was out of the question. There were only two cops so it wasn’t anything too tough for me to handle. I reply to them with I’m not finish yet but I can always make time for you guys. As I run towards them they begin to shoot at me. I split my left arm into three squid like tentacles and grab a nice dark female cop. At this moment I tell the other cop to drop his gun. I had about four bullet holes in my chest three in my leg and two holes in my shoulder. Those healed up after the fight, but currently I wasn’t in the mood to get shot up anymore or at least not yet anyways. The cop took too long to decide, so I kill the female cop by snapping her neck. The other cop acts quickly and runs inside his vehicle and calls for backup before driving away. I still had a little bit of time left before the rest arrived so I disguise myself back into Cecilia and stuff the now dead Cecilia back into the suitcase where I finish peeling off her skin at my gallery slash workshop."

Mutates

     Duplication: superior (rank 2)

The Chief lights a cig and glares at Mack, "You seriously expect me to believe that shit. My men arrived at the scene of the crime before you could even escape. You had someone else kidnap Cecilia after she escaped. You’re leaving out your accomplices!"

"Funny you should say that. I have this unique ability where I can duplicate myself after taking enough damage. The mutates as I like to call them come from my very own body. They grow like tumors making exact copies of myself over deep gashes and cuts, they fall off as the wounds keep healing. After taking damage from those police officers I created about two mutates. I took one with me while I left the other one to derail the other police. It wasn’t too much trouble if I wish it to happen I can cause my mutates to evaporate into a mist of blood. That’s how I’ve managed to escape for these last few years."

"You lost me at mutates but that's not important where exactly is this workshop you mentioned earlier?"

Mack shakes his head, "I can't tell you that, it's my own personal secret."

     Telepathy: standard (rank 1)

The Chief shrugs, "Fine then, we'll find out soon enough. We have enough evidence against you to give you the death sentence 10x over."

"For now anyways...." whispers Mack.

The Chief raises an eyebrow, "What exactly do you mean by that?"

Mack rolls his eyes, "You first need to understand that I'm no regular murderer. You think that I'm making this all up and that I'm just telling you stories either because I'm mentally ill or because I'm some sort of pathological liar."

The Chief nods "Why exactly should I believe you? You were caught at the scene of the crime covered only in blood. You've haven't exactly shown me anything special up to this point."

Mack gives off a psychotic laugh, "Have you ever thought that I wanted to be caught? Better yet, you haven't even caught the real me I'm just another mutate."

The Chief crosses his arms, "Lets say I might believe that you have the power to duplicate yourself, where exactly is the real you?"

Mack looks down smiling, "Well..., you're lucky this room is sound proof and that you can only see your reflection in that mirror. I’ve been here the whole time disguised as another agent. Me and my mutates killed a few people at first. But when I discovered the armory that’s when we really started the killing spree."

To prove his point a Mack points at his reflection where a bloody dead body of an agent flies through the glass and lands on the table.

To add to his horror the Chief stares at several different grinning faces of Mack Acres. A monstrous Mack with pincers jagged teeth, lumpy skin and giant spider legs jumps through the open area of the broken glass.

The Chief turns back to the captured Mack but all he sees is a mist of blood settling down on the floor.

In unison all the Macks speak together "I’ve gotten tired of running from the police. It should really be the other way around. I developed a plan to take the fight to you guys instead. Like it? It wasn’t easy I had to think ahead to lockout out the place, find the weapons and create enough help to slaughter the others before anyone could know what is going on."

The Chief reaches for his gun. The Macks all laugh, “Really, You should already know how this is going to end.”

Thirty minutes later the building is seen burning to the ground.
