Jessic Kiera was the youngest ever graduate of the most top-secret military training school in the country. Situated deep within the bowels of Area 51, the Global Defense Force was given the task of defending the nations security from threats not of this Earth. Given her flawless performance and training record, Jessic was chosen to be the trial user of the new combat platform designed by the Datascope corporation's defense contract. Minor surgery was required to implant a wetwire to her spinal column, but she accepted the honor regardless. Her performance with the system during it's field tests were beyond expectations, but her first assignment would test ever her amble skills. Datascope had recently come under investigation...many of it's technologies seemed to be using coldware similar to the Drokans...a race of intergalactic raiders following an invasion timetable that put Earth on the list of potential targets, and a constant enemy of the Global Defense Force. If Datascope was indeed exchanging favors with the Drokans, then it had to be established what they were trading. Intelligence reports show both Datascope personnel and Drokanian political units in Khazan, around the Arena at roughly the same times over the past three years. If Datascope had been interacting with the Drokans for that long, then all hardware generated by the Datascope defense contract was compromised, including Jessic's wetwired combat-ware. Now, by default, a security liability, Jessic has only one option. Become a fixture in the Khazan arena and discover what it has to do with the Datascope/Drokan fiasco. It's more than just national security that's on the line here...it's Jessic's professional future. Someone is going down. Hard.

Personality: Tenacious to a fault, Jessic has spent her entire life tirelessly perusing her goal of one day becoming a law enforcement officer like her father. Her boundless work ethic and self discipline have carried her far, but now it's all in danger of coming apart at the scenes. When not in the arena, she's carrying out her assignments for the GDF, when in the arena, she fights with the smooth determination that brought her so far in the world of law enforcement. She is a woman of passion, even if that passion is for her work, and more than one of her fellow officers has commented on what an amazingly sexy woman she'd be if she'd ever let her hair down. Maybe someday. Right now, there's a mission to complete.

Strength:

Weak BELOW normal human strength -
can bench press 50 pounds (maybe).
Agility:

Standard Normal human agility.
Body:

Standard Normal human endurance. Mind:

Standard Normal human mental resources.

Light Redirection

Jessic's combat uniform can create a field that, using micro-sensors, absorbs any and all light energy touching the field, and using the energy to redirect the light away in the opposite direction, effectively removing her from the effects of visible light. Her wetwire feeds the processed light energy to her brain so that, while the light isn't touching her eyes, the brain still receives the optic information it would receive under normal circumstance. there is a very slight distortion caused by the tiny drain on the light energy used to power the system, but it is below the visual acuity of even the most advanced human eye. The system must be temporarily deactivated when she fires her weapon, as the energy discharge disrupts the field.

Anti-Gravity Flight System

  • Power: Flight
  • Level:Standard
One of the more astounding features of her combat uniform... it includes circuitry designed specifically to allow her to fly... not by creating thrust against gravity, but altering the degree to which gravity effects her. GDF is currently attempting to reverse engineer the system, but it seems to operate in complete defiance of physics. She can fly up to 25 miles an hour, and, roughly 250 feet in the air.

Quantum Realignment

In another technological breakthrough, Jessic's uniform will alow her to remove her self from physical reality for a period of 5-10 minutes, making her entirely un-tactile. combining this with her ability to become invisible makes her able to almost literally remove herself from the moment, so she can move about not only unseen but unharmable.

Hyper-Kinesis

One of the reasons Jessic was chosen to use the weapons platform is her near perfect physique. When the Wetwire was installed into her brain, it exponentially increased her mind's ability to access her own body. Her physical perfection allows her too keep up with her remarkably fast thought process. This means she is able to move and react at incredible speeds, but a downside is that she crashes hard... Although she can maintain this pace indefinitely, after a mission or a fight she has to sleep for a minimum of twenty-five hours. Combining her lightening speed with her flight and phasing powers makes her a true wild card in battle... she could be absolutely anywhere, and there is truly no way to know where the next attack will come from.

Hologram Generation

  • Power: Illusion Creation
  • Level:Standard
  • Melee Attack Attack usable only hand to hand.
Jessic is equipped with a basic model hologram projector that generates a free-moving holographic duplicate of herself. The hologram's programming allows for a certain degree of autonomy, and it will move and mimic Jessic of it's own accord, although at it's basic strength it doesn't have the ability to damage an opponent on it's own. However...

Cyberlinked Ramscoop

In a clever use of Ramscoop technology, a device used to collect interstellar drifting energy and particles to be converted into fuel for starships, Jessic's uniform will absorb energy attacks, and, using a digital re-enhancement system, recalibrate the hologram system, upgrading it. As the Hologram is upgraded, it gains the ability to inflict psychological damage on the opponent, or allow for the existence of more holographic Jessics, all mirroring her basic moves, or moving autonomously. The more energy she channels into the system, the more dangerous, numerous, and creative the holograms become.

Brilliant Combatant

  • Power: Tactician
  • Level:Standard
  • Melee Attack Attack usable only hand to hand.
Even without all her vaunted technology, Jessic is a formidable opponent. A obvious genius, she thinks as fast as she moves, and acts even faster. New battle tactics are analyzed and responded to instantly, and brilliant battle tactics come to her almost as a matter of course.

Hand Blasters

  • Power: Portable Nuclear Accelerator
  • Level:Superior
  • Ranged Attack Attack usable at a distance (only).
  • Armor Piercing This attack ignores normal defenses which are not Reinforced.
Jessic's attacks are based on a pair of hand weapons. They are fitted to her combat platform because of their remarkable utility. tested with alarming success underwater, in extreme cold and heat, even 30% destroyed. With the new discovery of her Neural Siphons, her blasters have been reconfigured, switching from a ten round magazines of armor-piercing energy bursts to a micronic fusion generator. At standard power levels, they are just as powerful as ever, but each time the weapons are fed energy from the Neural Siphons, they grow in power by fifty percent, the resultant energy blast quickly becoming a devastating bolt of ultimate force with all the precision and reliability of it's weaker counterparts. Removing the magazine has removed many of the weapons shortcomings, making then less unwieldy, have no ammo limit, even eliminating the adverse effects of zero gravity on the firing mechanism. Unfortunately, gaining all this power through Drokan hardware knocks her up from security liability to genuine security threat, and now she must proceed very carefully.

Neural Siphons

  • Power: Psychic Vampire
  • Level:Superior
  • Area Effect This attack causes damage in a large area.
  • Ranged Attack Attack usable at a distance (only).
  • Weakness: Limited Uses -Multi-Use
Jessic had finally discovered the connection between Drokan and Datascope coldware. They use energy harmonics similar to human brainwaves. Drokans are hoping to integrate technology capable of draining electrical energy from lifeforms, and transferring that energy to fuel their own technology. After making this discovery, Jessic discovered, through her wetwire, the same technology existing in her combat equipment. While it's mildly uncomfortable, she's finding that she can control this technology, and use it to draw electral energy from opponents, and even more from those with any sort of psychic powers. She's used stolen Datascope blueprints to reconfigure her hand blasters to channel this new abundance of energy.

Peripheral Psychic Awareness

  • Power: Mind Control
  • Level:Standard
  • Melee Attack Attack usable only hand to hand.
  • Weakness: Power in Item -Hard to Loseitem
  • Weakness: Limited Uses -Multi-Use
She's slowly becoming aware of it. With concentration, she can sense, through her wetwire, her hardware accessing the synaptic pathways of everyone around her. She can "feel" their thoughts... and the more she wears her armor, the more she understands the nature of thought. She tried it for the first time against Dragoon T... gently touching those thoughts with her own, brushing them with her consciousness, shaking their neural perceptions. It left him disoriented. It requires her to maintain her precarious grip on her psychic awareness, and she can only do it so many times before she has to recollect her thoughts... but she has a new weapon. And in using it, she is beginning to understand her blossoming psychic potential.
