Three days, nine hours, twelve minutes, and.... seven seconds since her last kill. Last target. Last bag. Last Payoff. Her life was good. She couldn't really complain. Growing up had been a pain, but they say it is when you never knew your parents... parents who had apparently died fifty years prior to your birth. Then there was the fact that the people who had... made her, so to speak, had never heard of the words Orphanage or Foster Home and so, when she was three or so, she was left in the Badlands to fend for herself. She came put pretty good, if she did say so herself. Maybe a bit moody, maybe a bit on the violent side, but what would you expect? In the Badlands she had lived, alone, fending for herself until about... Seventeen years ago. Then the visions had come. The DreamTime, the old one had called them. The old one was the grand dragon king. Long, serpentine beast who obscured the horizon with his length. Obsidian and Opal scales patterned his length and his many arms hung like great crushing things ready to destroy all that was around. His face was that of a Nightmare and a dream. That of a tremendous reptilian horse with teeth to rival the greatest of the dinosaur kings themselves and yet with a mane of silver hair that flowed like water and a pair of golden antlers that reflected the light of the stars a million fold. It was then that he spoke to her. He spoke to her of the abominations littering all of creation. The undead, the feral beastmen, the inhuman, the titan destroyers. All whom must be cleansed from the omniverse as quickly as possible. He told her that when she awakened she would find by her side a blade of silver. This was one common weakness of the abominations. There were many more she would learn of in her lifetime. When she would awake she was to go north. There she would find a Keep of one of the Undead. A Keep littered with the Feral Beastmen, The Undead, and the Inhuman. She was to destroy them all. She would then be provided a way to leave this planet and move on to bigger things. She awoke and found the blade. She killed all those within the Keep. She escaped the planet in a small craft that the Sire Vampire had in his castle. And ever since she had been killing the Abominations where she found them. Doing it for Money just helped fund her research. She had recently gotten a call from Khazan, it seemed that they had had some recent Titan troubles. So, that's where she was headed, to help where she could. For a group that called themselves The Shallow Guild of Bleak Sunrise.

Personality: To say that Ophion was the epitome of the term Bitch would be... understatement. She is the Dragon Lady. Seven feet tall with a bite to match her bark and a tongue so hot that it can melt stygian steel. She doesn't get mad at stuff said behind her back, no... she gets royally pissed off at suggestive, unfinished innuendo said in her presence if it has anything to do with her. She's a dedicated person, though. If nothing else can be said about her she gets the job done. Period. No questions asked as long as the target is one of four things: Undead, Feral, Inhuman, or Titan. Nuff said.

Silver bullet here. Cold Iron Pike there. Holy water. Garlic. Mistletoe. Sometimes it has to be the actual stuff. But some times... most of the time even, science can pull through and develop something that works just as good. If not better. Science and Magic, despite their apparently conflicting roles in the world, make rather decent bedfellows. Direct UV light, for instance, does decent damage to Vampires... but nothing like the real thing. So a simple enchantment on the Ultraviolet Gun to modify the laserlight emitted not only burns just like Sunlight... burns five times as badly. Titans, the large monsters, usually come with rather specific weaknesses, but nothing that hasn't been documented before. Just a little research and you know that it's gonna take electricity to take down the fifty foot tall walking squid with wings. Ferals are usualy the hardest to prepare for, they tend to like to have expensive weaknesses. Silver, Gold, Emerald, Opal, Rare Wood and other ores. Bastards, best just to have a big happy knife made out of the stuff they fall for, Nuff said. Maybe an enchantment or too on them so you can throw'em and they'll come back to you. Inhumans are simple enough, whatever tears them up the most works the best. Anyway. In and of itself it comes down to one thing: Who has the biggest toys that do the most amount of stuff. Ophion is your girl.

Silent Grace

Sometimes it's better to be able to move OUT of the way of something coming at you at inhuman speeds. With Claws. And Fangs. With Poison Sacks. You get the point: Ophion doesn't want to. Her balance is extraordinary, but yours would be too if you had a four and a half foot tail to help regulate your center of gravity. Reflexes are smooth, not extraordinarily quick, but efficient. She's quiet and she does what she has to. That's all. No need to be able to do flips on a jungle gym. Just jump at the right time. Land in the right spot. There we go.

Assassins Gaze

Small implant, left eye. Size of a dime at the back of the optic nerve. Simple device that improves the Hand Eye coordination in regards to targeting. Hardly anything to be excited about in the way of medical advances, stuff like this has been around for ages. Ophion herself was a bit wary about getting an implant herself... that was untill she realized that she might just need some help with her accuracy when she blew a hole two feet Above the head of one of her targets. Some things you learn with experience... Some things you need to know ASAP and can't afford the cost of time.

Light Adjustment

To know your opponent is to be best prepared to face him. To know your opponent is to be best able to kill him. To know your opponent is to know what the hell's gonna be able to blow him to Kingdom Come faster than twenty pounds of Plastique shoved up his arse. There are some things that need not be said... Vampires and Sunlight don't mix, Fairys don't like Iron, Werewolves hate silver.... Then there are others that require some actual sort of bookwork... Tes`nipian Demons are deathly allergic to mistletoe, Werecrows hate gold, Romanian vampires don't like running water. There are some things that, when you live with those that call the night their home this long become instinct... and some things that you just have to learn. Sometimes it takes some study and sometimes it's best just to hit them until they say ouch or fall down. Either one works for Ophion.

Black Scythe

  • Power: Vehicle
  • Level:Supreme
  • Reinforced Defenses Defense blocks Armor Piercing attacks.
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain Steel Cage
There are some things in life you can do without. Then there's things like transportation, and in a universe that has as many inhabited worlds as there are stars in the night sky the transportation may as well be interstellar. That would be where the Black Scythe comes in. That selfsame ship that Ophion escaped from her homeworld on she still utilizes for travel. Even on-world travel. It's not specificly built for atmospheeric utilization but it hasn't fallen apart yet so Ophion is as happy as she's going to be with it. It's decently sized and keeps her very safe when it comes down to it, so It's safe to say that it works well enough for her not to complain. Other than the fact that it's size expressly keeps her from taking it into places that are... well... tight.
