 | Xardoz is a mage of great power but is more than just a little looney. His speciallizes in transmutation, that is, turning one element into another or one creature into another. Why? Well, he likes to, it's fun. He comes from some far off mystical land of no noteriety and actually left because it was so boring. His travels have finally led him and his pet Squirrel, Charlie, to Khazan, a place full of adventure and fun stuff to do. Charlie is his best friend and he talks to him constantly about everything. They have worked out a mutally benificial relationship in which Charlie gets to act out his deepest desires of being a deadly carnivourous beast in exchange for protecting Xardoz from physical harm. Together, they make a pretty darn good team. |

Pajama Pockets was ever so kind to provide us with personally crafted replicas of her renown Fluffy Pillow of Righteousness for the FPL. Every pillow was especially dreamed up by her into reality, and each pillow posesses a bit of her patented Cozy Dreamtime Fantasy power so anyone that weilds one of her comfy pillows in combat can put all but the most willful enemies to sleep.

Xardoz has an affinity for small rodents. As such, he has befriended a rather small squirrel named Charlie. When in battle, Xardoz uses his powerful magic to transform Charlie into huge and powerful creatures such as a Dragon, Giant Spider, Griffin, Giant Gorilla...well...you get the idea. In any case, Charlie becomes a very deadly and useful weapon that is more than willing to rip into Xardoz's enemies with his new and very sharp fangs and claws.

Charlie is just an ordinary squirrel that has taken a liking to Xardoz, well, they are more like soul-mates actually. They have formed some form of strong empathic bond and are best friends. It really helps that they can talk freely with each other. Charlie is quite aware that Xardoz uses him as a weapon in combat to save his own wimpy butt, but really doesn't mind. In fact, he rather enjoys it. You see, Charlie believes he was supposed to have been born as some sort of large carnivorous beast, but due to some mix up in the cosmic bureaucracy, got stuck as a puny rodent...so, through Xardoz, he gets to live out his dream of being ferocious and feared beast - it's a dream come true.

Xardoz has the power to transform beings and things into other states. For example, he can turn Charlie, his little rabid squirrel friend, into dragons and such. His battle plans usually consist of sending Charlie into the front lines to combat his enemies(since he himself can't take a hit from a 4 year old) and hold them off long enough for him to transform them into some smaller, easier to manage creature. As a bonus, Charlie usually gets to have a nice light snack in the process. He usually tries to consult with Charlie before the battle to see what Charlie is in the mood for. For example, if Charlie wants seafood, he changes them into a whale. Other times it might be a horse or a cow or maybe just a little bunny rabbit if Charlie just wants a little snack.
Xardoz can communicate with small rodents, as such he is able to talk freely with Charlie and does so all the time. This gets him more than just strange looks while riding the subway or walking down the street, but Xardoz and Charlie just ignore them and keep on talking.
