Susan:- An eight year old girl. As normal as any other child, except for a small telepathic ability. This ability was dormant in Susan, and if it had been left to develop naturally it would have emerged as only a weak mental talent, hardly worth notice in a place like Khazan. If it had been left to develop naturally. The Cartel:- A group of super-rich businessmen from various planes, with enough money to buy anything they want. The Machine:- A amazing piece of work, combining science and magic flawlessly into a device capable of warping reality to it's very limits. Made as a plaything for The Cartel. What happened:- The Cartel, in the search for a new pleasure to amuse them commissioned the creation of The Machine. Its purpose was to make their thoughts become reality. Only one element was missing, a interface. In order for The Machine to work the thoughts had to be input directly into it. This could only be done by specially modified telepath. Susan was chosen and kidnapped, her parents murdered. After being genetically altered so she could work with The Machine, Susan was connected to it. What went wrong:- The scientists who had altered her had put special restraints of Susan's mind to keep her under their control. But the hadn't counted on what would happen when she was connected to The Machine. The unusual power of the machine boosted Susan's altered mind even more, and allowed her to break free of the scientist's control. After destroying the scientists, Susan, scared and alone, used The Machines power to fuse herself with it, so that Susan and The Machine became one being. What happened next:- The new Susan fled into Khazan, where she took shelter with the SLJ. Now she works with them, seeking to destroy The Cartel who had taken so much from her.

Personality: Susan used to a normal little girl. Then she was kidnapped, experimented on and connected to The Machine by The Cartel. This would have left any normal girl a wreak, and so was Susan, until she fused with The Machine, and it's AI. The AI of the machine gave Susan the strength to carry on, the sturdy mind needed to deal with her new circumstances. She now seems like a normal girl, but when pushed reveals a colder, efficient side of her otherwise warm personality.

Weak BELOW normal human strength -
can bench press 50 pounds (maybe).

Standard Normal human agility.

Weak BELOW normal human endurance.
Goes down easy and stays there.

Standard Normal human mental resources.

When she was first kidnapped Susan's telepathic powers were just beginning to show. After a large number of operations, gene-replacement treatments and other such procedures Susan's powers were altered to work with The Machine, and also were greatly enhanced. Now her enemies mind is an open book to her. She knows all their plans, thoughts and deepest secrets. She can even read cybernetic minds, thanks to her fusion with The Machine. This power is very useful, as she can now anticipate any move that her opponents make, and see straight through any cunning plans. But this is only a secondary use for this ability. Once Susan has read her opponents thoughts she channels them into The Machine.

Spells and circuits blend seamlessly inside the machine. Its reality warping power is unparalleled. When Susan channels her enemy's thoughts into The Machine it uses its great power to bring them to life. And Susan doesn't channel happy thoughts into The Machine. Oh no. Susan's enemies will suddenly find themselves trapped in whatever they consider to be a worst-case scenario. Their worst fears, secret shames all brought to life, all standing before their very eyes. They are defeated by their own dark side, read by Susan, and brought to life by the machine. Against mindless foes The Machine works differently. It then brings Susan's thoughts to life. Her dreams protect her, and her nightmares destroy her enemies.

Susan's attempts to destroy The Cartel haven't gone un-noticed. Since she escaped them constant attempts have been made to destroy her and The Machine. But Susan has protection. By calling upon the reality warping power of The Machine, attacks can be simple warped out of existence. This isn't what The Machine was designed for, so some extremely powerful attacks may be able to get past it, but anything else that tries to hurt Susan and The Machine is automatically warped out of existence, leaving them completely unharmed.

Force of Will

  • Power: Force of Will
  • Level:Supreme
  • Melee Attack Attack usable only hand to hand.
When Susan was connected to The Machine the pathways of its circuits and of her mind were linked together. When she fused with it completely these pathways became even more connected. Susan's telepathic powers are now focused and controlled with much more efficiency, making them that much harder to resist. She can now smash through her enemies mental defenses with great ease, ensuring herself access to their minds. As time passed, Susan and The Machine grew closer together, their separate minds slowly becoming one. As they have grown closer Susan's mental power and stamina has increased, as she has begun to control more of the incredible power of The Machine.
