Dragoon T

"You want to fight AGAIN? But you've already walked out three times!" The manager of the fighter selection at the FPL paced around his desk, looking at the somewhat cloaked figure floating inches off the ground in front of him. "I'm bored. I'm forbiddan to get myself involved in anything major..and the rent is due on my Apartment." He said, matter of factly. "What do you think this is...the Bank of Khazan!??!" The Manager slammed his hand down on his desk...accidently breaking his coffie mug and covering his hand in Hot Java. "AAARGH! See what you made me do now you idiot?" the Manager screamed. The floating figure shrugged. "You were the one who smashed the coffie cup.." he stated matter of factly. "AAARGH! Get out of my face you idiot! I'll approve you..just in hopes you get your ass handed to you while your powers are limited!" the manager sat down in his chair with a THUMP as the Figure faded from view. Later that night..."Yeah..I Re-Re-Re-entered the FPL. Figured it'd give me something to do." The figure leaned back on his chair, sipping his root beer. The Female in front of him, Still slightly plump from her recent pregenancy, shifted the Baby boy she was holding to her other side. "Tanin...Why are you doing this? Don't you have heroing to do?" Tanin, better known as Dragoon T, rolled his eyes. "I told you before Elwin..I've been forbiddan to act. Unless something Major like the Apocolypse happens, or the Avatar of Darkness knocks on my door, I don't have anything to do. So..I'm just killing time." Elwin gave a frown and rocked her baby softly, trying to lull him to sleep. "Just..take care. You know the FPL limits your powers while your fighting there. Don't pick a fight you can't win." Tanin stood up and floated off the ground. As he started to fade out he gave a cocky smile "And since when have I lost a fight?"

Tanin, or Dragoon T as he is known in Khazan, is the Avatar of the Light of the Universe and the Omni-Uber Legendary Hero. He has a SERIOUS Paladin Complex when it comes to his Heroics, although his stuck up attitude is mostly directed towards his opponent during a fight rather then towards people outside of battle. He's rather..Dense, when it comes to thinking, and dosen't usualy catch anything subtle directed at him..Hell, he has enough trouble with the Obvious! Otherwise he's generaly a good person, looking out for his friends as well as Khazan as a whole. Inside of battle he's a Cocky little snot, taunting his opponent as he teleports away, waiting for the right moment to strike. He uses his opponents emotions against them..knowing full well that he can easily infurtiate them to the point that they can make mistakes.

Avatar

     Avatar: Standard

Didn't you hear me before? T is one of the Premier Avatars of Khazan, The Avatar of the Light of the Universe, Uber-Legendary Hero..you know, that sorta thing. Did you think he WOULDEN'T be using his Avatar powers in the Arena?

"ARGH! HOLD STILL!"

     Teleportation: Superior

Probibly Tanins favorite trick. He simply loves to wait moments before an attack hits, and then vanish, reappearing somewhere else. He'll go anywhere from behind his opponent, to Right in front of him. Makes for great suprise attacks, and a handy defense...Can't damage what you can't tag. Area effect attacks are a bit tricker, can't combo it into a counter attack..so he'll usualy just teleport away from the Radius until it's safe.

"Damn..That's fast"

     Super Speed: Standard

You gotta be fast to avoid attacks at the split second, and that's exactly how T teleports. Each and every jump takes a split second, you blink, he's moved..You blink again..he's moved again. It's as much a defense as an offense..you never know WHERE he's going to be.

After Image..AURA STRIKE!

     Illusion Creation: Superior

Well..even if the Ultra fast teleportation dosen't boggle the opponent, this sure will. For every teleport that T does, he'll leave a double of himself where he was standing. Well..not really a Double..just a sort of 'After Image' from him moving so fast. The After image has some nifty side effects though. It'll tend to Mimic him as he attacks, so an opponent may very well find himself surronded by Dragoons..unable to tell which one is the REAL one and thus wasting attacks or screwing up their defense.

Chrysilium

     Gravity: Supreme

  • Multi-Attacks

What..Dragoon T..WITHOUT his Trademark Oversized Broadsword? Yup..that big lunker of a Blade called Chrysilium is back for the Sequel(So to Speak) and it's just as dangerous as ever. You know the Drill..Shard of Light forged in Crystal..bound in Mithril and bestowed upon the Avatar. Ornate, Ancient, and Ridiculously oversized, Chrysiulium is but a Feather in Dragoon's hands. He'll wield it one Handed or 2 handed, or let it fight on it's on temporaingly while he gives you a Googly Face. The sword strikes with the power of the Universe, unbinding and erasing the threads of a persons very existance, causing damage from the inside out. The blade itself crackles with energy, allowing T to pull of some Nifty Tricks. As the blade does damage it actually affects the Graviataional field of the opponent, causing them to either be drawn to or lifted up from the ground. In either case the effect is slight, since once the sword leaves the vicinity it ceases, but in a close, no holds barred Melee extravangaza, it's effects can be telling. Furthermore the blade, an extremley powerful artifact in it's own right, is unbreakable. If an attack would shatter the blade or what not, it just reforms itself. Furthermore T can call the blade to his hand with but a thought, ruling out Disarment. Chrysilium is light as a feather, despite it's immense size, and it's a simple matter for Tanin to pull off several stabs in one go.

Dragoon Style Swordsmanship

     Sword Master: Supreme

Don't even TRY to figure out T's fighting style. He's been an Avatar for nigh over 20,000 years, and in that time period has pretty much meshed together all known sword forms into his own style. He tends to focus more on defensive manuvers then offensive, letting quick thrusts and slashes do most of the damage, letting all the little nicks and scratches add up to an eventual defeat for his opponent. Oh..and don't try to copy or figure out his style..Last person who tried such an Insane thing ended up being recruited by the LOTMU.

Sword

     Sword: Standard

Yeah..Chrysilium is a big nifty Artifact of the Universe, but at it's basics it's just a sword. It's big, Sharp, Pointy, and Ideal for Thrusting and slashing. You get hit with it, no matter what, your gonna bleed.

tRAF has NOTHING on Him...

     Smoke Screen: Standard

  • Area Affect
  • Weakness: Limited Uses - One Use
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Great Sewer

Yeah..I'll admit it. T's annoying as hell. He makes fun of you, Teleports out of harms way, Makes fun of you some more..He just gets on your nerves..Big time. In fact..he'll get on your nerves SO much your gonna get REALLY Angry at him...Angry enough that your Own Rage will Blind you. You know..Blinded by Rage? He's the one who coined that phrase. Thank god he's not like this(Mostly) outside of fighting!

'Heh..Saw that one..'

     Danger Sense: Standard

Of course, when you teleport yourself away from Danger, being able to Sense said danger helps alot. T's senses are hyper keen, allowing him to 'sense' the aggresiveness of an attack before it hits him, allowing him to plan appropriatly. Of course, said plan is usualy teleporting to where the attack isn't, since the sense only kicks in seconds before he gets blasted.

Yeah..He Flies.

     Flight: Standard

  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Low Gravity

It's nothing big really. Tanin just defies gravity. It's not like he makes himself lighter then air or floats on thermals or anything..he simply floats. Makes chasing after people a snap, and pretty much rules out any chance of staying in the air and just throwing salvo after salvo of ranged assaults at him. 'Course, you can't actually tell theres a Diffrence in the Low Grav Arena, since everyone is getting hangtime there anyway. And of course, there's always his ever present cape. Call him a slave to fashion..but he just won't fly without it. Something about Dramatic effect...

A Slow Fight....

     Psychic Vampire: Standard

  • Weakness: Limited Uses - Multi-Use
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Bar Fight

Fighting with Tanin is an aggrivating experience. Rather then going out all guns blazing, hoping to end the match as soon as possible, he'll play keep away, ducking and dodging, only scoring knicks and cuts on his opponent. As the cuts start to add up, the Mind nubs. The monotony begins to take over, and eventualy the opponent, if the fight goes on long enough, becomes a babbling shell of their former selves. Of course, Tanin knows what he's doing. He takes it all in stride, letting the opponent slowly go stir crazy, while he himself remains confident in his own abilitys, and merely reinforces his reflexes and dodging skills.

The Inner Eye...

     Hyper-Senses: Standard

  • Weakness: Power in Item - Easy to Lose
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Deathtrap Equalizer

Traveling around, fighting, experiencing life...Tanin has lived and experienced many many things on his travels. Over time, through constant exposure to Hyper Powerful beings and events, He gradualy became attuned to the 'Pulse' that such beings have. By concentrating for a moment T can attempt to 'sense' his opponent by feeling for their own unique power signature...The stronger the opponent, the stronger and easier their signature is to find. It's not like a global pinpointing system though...In the Arena Deathtrap stadium, the sheer number of people watching makes it impossible to pick out any specific signature..and he DOES need to concentrate to find it, so if he can't then it's a null factor.

Heh...Just give it up

     Emotion Control: Standard

  • Weakness: Limited Uses - One Use

As the fight Drags and drags...Attack after attack whiffing as it hits an illusonary double, Chrysiulium slowly drawing blood, the Opponents very Will sapped from them, Tanin will give his opponent the only sensible option. 'Just give up.' When his opponent's will is at it's weakest, when the proverbial gust of wind is all that is needed to shatter what is left of the Psyche, such a suggestion can be VERY Tempting...

Dragoonic Plate

     Body Armor: Standard

  • Weakness: Power in Item - Hard to Lose

Although his armor is little more the show, it does provide some protection in a combat situation. The bracers and breastplate are made of a very sturdy magical material, allowing Tanin to defend against most minor attacks that common everyday people would use. Although it lacks the strength to truly defend against strong attacks, it does help to reduce the damage they cause, which can be all the diffrence should an opponent manage to get by his teleportation defenses.

Alittle bit of everything

     Tactician: Standard

  • Weakness: Power in Item - Hard to Lose
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Deathtrap Equalizer

It's been along long 20+ millenia for Tanin. He's seen some pretty wacked out things..like evil purple plant zombies and ozzing puss packets of Goo, Mad men bent on destruction, Rogue gods on a rampage, Tanin can really say he's seen, most, if not all that the universe can throw at him. Such knowledge gives him an advantage in battle...Most likely anything the opponent throws at him, he's seen it before. Soft Silent Stealthy type? Been there. Blow 'em all up Type? Done that. Sneaky Mentalist? While he was still in training for the job. No matter what sort of attack you prefer, Tanin's seen it and will plan accordingly. Dosen't help much in the Deathtrap Arena though..the stupid thing is Dynamic and is diffrent each visit, so he can't plan accordingly, and there's always the Slim chance the opponent will do something he HASN'T seen before.
