Jack was in a hard way following high school. A brutal fight a month after graduation with a cop's son put his college dreams to bed, and after a year in prison, his only option was work at a lower Manhattan warehouse. Here, Jack found out about an underground New York fighting league, with solid payouts to winners. Jack would start fighting on Saturday nights, and he was good. With real grit, an iron chin, and the best brawling style of any fighter in any of the five boroughs, Jack had finally found his place. After twelve fights with twelve knockout wins, Jack was asked by the man who organized the event-ironically his boss at the warehouse- to do some bodyguard work. The pay was good and Jack was there, but he didn't expect that he was about to become the man's enforcer. After refusing to beat some sense into an old shopkeeper, Jack found himself out of three jobs. The event wore on Jack, and with the same grit he had in the ring, and a pair of brass knuckles supplied by the man on top, Jack would cripple the Boss's illegal operations, leading to a confrontation ending with the Boss's arrest, and Jack's apparent drowning in the Hudson. In a rare sly move, Jack managed to bring down a violent criminal and keep the heat off his back. Now as a man in New York with thousands in under the table cash, Jack rented a small office space, where he hires out his hands to those in need, charging the rich plenty, while still picking up more than his heroic share of pro bono work.

Jack's motivation is simple: He likes what he feels is an honest paycheck, and he likes that feeling he gets when he does something he thinks is right. While he may no longer fight in a ring, he can still do what he loves most on the streets, which is knock the crap out of someone who really deserves it.

Brawling Style

     Martial Arts: superior (rank 2)

Jack is more than capable of fighting on the ground, but the thing he loves is landing a sweet hook on an enemy. Despite his experience with Judo, Jujitsu, and wrestling, Jack will keep a fight standing as long he can, and he's never had trouble. Lightning fast shots with knockout power in each one make him a dangerous striker.

Focused eyes

     Reaction Speed: superior (rank 2)

If Jack can see it coming, he can almost always get the dodge or counter. Jack can interpret an attack, from a punch to an enemy grabbing a gun, and react before his opponent has even finished what they were doing.

Brass Knuckles

     Crushing Weapon: standard (rank 1)

  • Multi-Attack

Combined with Jack's heavy and surprisingly fast hands, these knuckles serve as Jack's crutch against any enemy who can take one of his bare-fisted punches, and he always has them out against multiple enemies. Capable of putting a man down with a single shot to the gut, and able to crack a jaw with ease. Jack's fast hands allow hit after hit after hit.
