Ebony Femi grew up in Cairo,Egypt with her father who would steal treasure from tombs. She would marvel at the stuff her dad would bring home, unaware that what he was doing was wrong. So, she started taking things from her classmates at school and the markets without her father knowing. It became a habit, a very bad habit considering she never got caught. stealing became an everyday thing for Ebony. Dagger was a Klepto all through high school and did not realize she neede help. After Ebony's senior year, the police came to house to arrest her father. he was sentenced a decade and a half in prison. As the police gathered all the stolen treasure, Ebony found a long dagger with an ebony embedded handle. She hid it realizing this was something her father stole. Losing her father made Ebony bitter.She learned karate to get her dad off her mind. Unfortunately her stealing never ceased and only became worse. Thus her bad lifestyle led to her becoming Dagger who is not really an evil villain, just a really elusive one.

Dagger is a very skeptical person and only fully trusts people close to her. She usually only works alone during her heists. She's hides her bitterness, acting friendly to those on her side and to those not, but if needed, knows how to snap a bone. Dagger is not one for hurting people, as she considers it a waste of time. Heroes consider her a villain but she just considers herself an anti-hero.

She sports high heeled boots in which the heels and front are knife sharp. Her long black hair is half- up half down. Up in a bun which is secured with "hair chopstick" used to pick locks. Her straight hair is sometimes used as a whip on her foes
