Why not, he's been going around, "Muahahaha, you cannot beat me fools...", and stuff..... :D

Muahahahaha! Team Nova Force wouldn't know how to wage a war if I gave them my WAR handbook.

No by all means make deals and backstab one another... :P it makes for an interesting RP.

Muahahaahhahaha!! Indeed. Trust no one Team Nova. Trust no one. Ask yourself, do I trust everyone in my team. Muahahahaa!! Stealth has always been one of the most powerful allies of the Sit...I mean my alliance. I have yet to reveal so many secrets. In due time...in due time.

Ok, here's is how we're going to try this.

Here's a sample of the Battlemap. The full size Battlemap will be 1800x1800 pixels, though I may resize it smaller.

SampleNation.png

It still needs more people to fill in their Profiles though... Each Area is given a Number, going from Left to Right, and Top to Bottom.

Turn Order

We'll have a type of Initiative order, this order will be determined by the order that each person completed their profile in. So Ruinus will go first followed by the next, and the next, etc. until we've run through the whole list of people playing. One full list of turns is one Round.

After everyone has finished their turn for the Round, any armies that share the same space and wish to Battle will then Move to a Battle Page on the RP Board and duke it out. In the event of Multiple Battles, Priority will be given to lower numbered Battle Areas and when one is done the next will start. This will mean that Sea Battles will go first, Coastal Battles will be next followed by land battles.

Each Round a player has their Budgets to do the following on their Turn.

Talk

Cost - Free and anytime regardless of Initiative. RP this like your sending Radio Broadcasts, or Conducting Talks with other nations, ect.

Mobilize Military Division

Besides Talking this is the Main RP Tool.

Cost: $10B per Level of Size up to 10, Budget: Military + Law&Order.

Construct Provincial Fortification

Gives your Troops in the Area an advantage that you can exploit in RP situations. These can really be anything from a long line of Trenches to Firebases, or just setting up a crap load of Deathtraps throughout the area.

Cost: $100B per Fortification, only one "fort" per province. Budget: Military, can pay over multiple turns.

Move Military Divisions

This is how we can RP battles and take territory.

Cost: Free, but you can only move your Armies/Navies up to Two Spaces per turn.

*When two Armies/Navies enter the Same area, and wish to fight, We take it to the NS Warfare Topic, which will be made when we get this running properly. The fighting only takes place at the End of the Turn to allow others the option to assist allies*

Research New Tech

This is where you improve whatever you want.

Cost... I'll say on average it might be around $1000B from your Education Budget, and like Construction can work on a payment plan. This is drawn from your Education Budget.

*This price can easily skyrocket based on How advanced the Tech in question is...*

End your Turn

Your done and now you can pass the Ball to the Next person in the Initiative Order.

I'll be keeping track of all numbers in a Spreadsheet.

As well, This is an Experimental System, feel free to poke and prod this, ask questions, or offer suggestions.

Ok, so let me see if I got this right (since I'm going first anyways):

Talk

I can say whatever in any format, a radio signal, a random news cast, a public announcement, or anything else, no matter the situation.

Mobilize Military Division

Ok, this is basically the Construct New Unit option right? I understand the basics of it, but what is this Level and Size up to 10? I understand that $10B per level is always the same, and the max size is 10, but:

  • Is the level and size the same? For instance infantry has a level of 1, and a size of 1 for a full 10 infantry $100B division?
  • Is level different but size the same? For instance, a tank may be a level of 2 but a size of 1, so a full tank division would be 10 tanks and cost $200B? If so what are the different levels for units?
  • Is level the same but size different? For instance an aircraft has a level of 1, but a size of 2, so a full division of pure aircraft would be 5 aircraft and cost $100B? If so what are the sizes?
  • Do the different units have an attack/defense value, or are you going to leave that up to the battle RP section to see who wins/loses a fight?

Construct Provincial Fortification

I also understand this. It's basically something that would give me an advantage in case someone attacks my place, or an area controlled by me. I'm assuming the Military is Defense on the NationStates calculator. So someone with a defense budget of, say, $20B would wait 5 turns for their fortification to be constructed, while someone with, say $100B could build one in one turn?

Move Military Divisions

Once I've used the Mobilize Military Division action and built an army, I can move them at any time, but only two spaces. Pretty straight forward.

Research New Tech

Also pretty straight forward. So say someone with $22B in education wanted to build better whatevers (armor, weaponry, information technology whatever). They'd have to wait 45 turns for this to finish and then they have the benefit of whatever it is they researched. But if someone wanted to build, say, laser cannons, then the cost might be $2T, and they'd have to wait 90 turns.

Level of Size, sorry. Basically Spend $10B to create something like a Regiment/Section/Ship, all the way up to spending $100B to create something like an Army Group/Air Wing/Fleet. This was done to basically give people with smaller budgets a better chance to get their military out there into the fight. You can also merge smaller armies together in the field. Though you'll have to work something out with Allies, they can occupy the same area as your troops, and fight With your troops against the enemy, in effect making the size of the army in the region bigger.

Also, each level of size is roughly equal to 100,000 soldiers, so keep this in mind for your Maximum available draw, which is based on your "% of Pop in Military"

Also about research, when you want to research something, tell me what it is and what you hope to gain from it. We can then work out a price tag.

Nations Name: The Kingdom of Treacherous

Nations Leader: Darth Treacherous

http://www.nationstates.net/nation=treacherous

Geography

Number of Provinces

- The Kingdom of Treacherous has two major territories: The Floating Kingdom of Treacherous and that Other Place Below “…where the human resources live. - Treacherous”

Climate/Terrain

- Treacherous has a temperate seasonal climate. The Kingdom of Treacherous lies on the borders of the Eastern Sea and has one of the largest coastlines in Khazan. There are four seasons of near equal length, except on the coastline, which sees mostly spring and summer-like weather. The Armored Floating Fortress of Treacherous hovers above this coastline. His entire military command center is stationed near this seaboard as well; closely guarding the entire region and the sea. However, the majority of the Nation-State is often covered with a dark cloud that seems to change according to Treacherous’ mood. On the western borders is a gigantic wall built to keep the CBUB Trolls within their territories unless told otherwise.

-

Natural Resources

- Treacherous has large oil shale and limestone deposits, along with forest which cover 47% of the land. Heavy deforesting has led to a sizable growth in the Uranium mining. Treacherous has one of the largest nuclear power plants in Khazan.

Natural Hazards

- Khazan’s greatest natural hazard is Emperor Treacherous himself as his armored fortress and military often float throughout the kingdom seeking “fun.”

Military

"Whatever America has, the Kingdom of Treacherous wants!!" - Treacherous

- 38% of military spending is invested in military defense. Military service is compulsory. Every able bodied citizen will fight in the name of Treacherous! You do the math!!! Ehh hem. Excuse me…moving on…

- 13 man squad. Actually 10 and 2 used as human shields.

White Smoke, Inciendery, Fragmentation and Stun Grenades

AGP-DB14 Door Breaching Charge

All troops wear Standard Interceptor Armor

- Common front line tank: Leopard 2A4 - The Pz 87WE (WertErhaltung) is a Swiss modification and upgrade of the Pz 87. The modification significantly improves protection, through the addition of the Leopard 2A6M's mine protection kit, thicker armour on the front glacis, and the turret is equipped with a Swiss-developed armour package that use titanium alloy. The turret roof armour is improved, and the smoke grenade launchers have also been redesigned. Further improvements enhance survivability and combat capability, such as a turret electric drive similar to the Leopard 2A5, a driver rear view camera, a independent weapons station for the loader, and enhanced command and control systems. The fire control system is also upgraded, using the Carl Zeiss Optronics GmbH PERI-R17A2 fire control system. A remote weapons station containing a fully stabilized Mg 64 0.50 calibre machine gun is also fitted to the tank. All models feature digital fire control systems with laser rangefinders, a fully stabilized main gun and coaxial machine gun, and advanced night vision and sighting equipment (first vehicles used a low-light level TV system or LLLTV; thermal imaging was introduced later on). The tank has the ability to engage moving targets while moving over rough terrain. It can drive through water 4 meters (13 ft) deep using a snorkel or 1.2 meters (3 ft 11 in) without any preparation and climb vertical obstacles over one metre high. The tank is powered with a turbo-charged multi-fuel V12 diesel engine that produces 1,500 PS (1,479 hp, 1,103 kW).

Okay so here is my idea.

Z-1 A.Rifle

The rifle has a compact design with change able features built into the gun. It has a small switch lock on the back of the gun that allows a stock to come out in the mid top there is a scope which multiplies 5x, 15x and 25x. Moving up to the front the Barrel which has an adjustable size to up to 26 inches. just below you can release a handle to help aim and a tri-pod in case you choose not to use the handle. Near the trigger are two knobs one that adjusts it from auto to single and another that adjusts barrel length, both knobs are within the finger reach. Each cartridge holds up to 25 rounds and it fires at 650 rounds per minute. If the piece with the handle is re-adjusted properly it can be turned into a bayonet like rifle with a blade that is 6 inches long and 3 inches wide.

The rifle holds special rounds with a 5.56 mm calibur. The bullets are made specially it's tip is armour piercing hollow cap, under this is a a tip made of DIME material that causes an intial blast, then there is a shell made of explosize metal that has napalm mixed with other explosive powders that causes another larger blast.

Pros

-Can be adjusted from assault rifle to sniper to sub-machine gun.

-Relativley easy to move in any direction very quickly.

-Rounds can tear through any body armour and can take down heavily armoured vehicles rather quick.

-Turns the armour of vehicles into shrapnel and increasing blast radius

-Bayonet attachment allows for close combat use.

-Many controllable parts

-Small light and compact.

Cons

-Cannot be shot at close range or else there will be large concequences.

-Bullets cost more then the actual gun.

-High cost

I'll put up sketches later so that it'll make more sense. also Skirm seeing that some people haven't filled in thier nations yet can I join if I fill one in real quick or can I be a sort of merchant nation?

Um just a quick question about this before it really kicks into gear.

How exactly do these budgets work? Meaning is your budget for the turn your total GDP or military budget, and do they fully regen by your next turn?

At the Start of Each Round those budgets are your Budgets for the duration of the Round. After the Round is over and a new one begins your budget does refresh, but unless your Nation is idling (or the issues you've gotten don't support Budgets we use) it should have more money for you to use.

Example: You've got a Defense budget of $10B. On your turn you pay for a Size 1 Army, cost $10B. For that turn you've spent all your money and you end. The rest of the people in the RP do whatever on their turns and eventually the Round ends. It comes back to your turn, you've got your $10B back, unless your budget has increased.

I will take All Nations Budgets from the Start of each Round, and you will have that budget to do with what you will until the start of the Next Round.

For instance J0ke, your budget for the rest of the Round will be $199B Defense, $163B Law, and $99B Education. Even if between now and the start of your turn you somehow Increase these budgets it will not count until the Start of next Round.

Hmm, I should Post everyones Budgets...

When we are finished with our turn, do we officially declare "End Turn" (in bold letters like so) or does the next person just try and figure out whether or not it's their turn?

BTW if it is the latter, I think it should be changed to the former (I've never used "the latter" and "the former" in the same sentence before -_-).

Sorry, I can't participate. My house is flooded. Skirmish, you know who to talk to in case of emergency in my absence.

Very well, sorry to hear about the water problems.

Our Alliance is Known as the Gestapo Alliance, and this is our theme song-
.

Take that MarvelFan15!

-_-

When referring to our Alliance, I'll just say "The Alliance," without the Gestapo part.

Take that, Nova!

Is that really a bad thing?

Saying "The Alliance" makes it sound like it's THE premier/best alliance...

Saying "The Alliance" makes me think of Star Wars and the Rebel Alliance... Then again Treach did post a pic that basically implied that he was the Emperor...
