Far Cry 3 has nothing of what I like about Fallout. Just because they're both open-world shooters doesn't warrant a recommendation. And i'm pretty sure Skyrim less so.

Far Cry 3 is moreso geared towards FPS's than the RPG's of Fallout and Skyrim, but there are still good reasons for recommendation. The open world, the fact that you can actually choose between stealth or non-stealth in this game. If you liked Fallout and Skyrim, you can tie them into Far Cry 3. If you're looking for another Fallout or Skyrim, you'll be sorely disappointed. But if you liked Fallout or Skyrim, but are in the mood for a faster paced, less RPG intense game, Far Cry 3 is a pretty damn good fit.

There's not a single thing in that trailer that makes me excited about the game, because there's not a single shot of gameplay.

It's a teaser trailer, not a gameplay trailer. And as far as teasers go... that one's pretty good.

I understand. Teaser trailers are pretty cool, but I never get excited for a game because of them because there is no gameplay. The game could be total garbage for all I know, it could be a brilliant piece of sci-fi shooting/RPG/whatever too, the teasers don't tell me anything.

I have no idea what was going on in that trailer, but it was incredibly well-done nonetheless.

I can most certainly get excited about a game simply from the teaser. Most games with very good teasers tend to be at least decent games. In addition, teasers give you hints about settings that may really appeal to you. I'm not gonna go buy a game after only seeing the teaser, granted, but I think it's a bit silly to say teasers are useless in this regard.

Dead Island had an amazing teaser -- it's definitely in the top 3 of all games in my opinion. Everyone hated the game and I honestly don't understand why. If you played it alone, okay, maybe. But quite honestly if you're not playing with a friend then you're doing it wrong. I played Dead Island, beginning to end, with my brother. I had an absolute blast the entire time.

If you have a PS3 and haven't play Tokyo Jungle, do it as soon as possible. It's only 10 dollars on the Playstation Store, and it's worth at least triple that.

You play as an animal in a post apocalyptic world where all humans have died. You can be a predator or a grazer, starting as either a Pomeranian or a Sika Deer. but as you go through the game you unlock much bigger and stronger animals including, Wolves, Horses, Cheetah, Rams, Crocodiles, Bears, Elephants, and many more. But some animals can only be unlocked by buying them at .99 cents a piece.

So if you're looking for a fun, simple, unique, and cheap game, go ahead and but this one.

Modern Warfare 2 was fun. I didn't think they'd actually be able to duplicate the enjoyment I had with the first one, but they came damn close if they didn't. And this one was a bit easier. I actually managed to finish a Veteran playthrough, this time. ^_^

I don't know why I enjoy the Modern Warfare series, as much as I do. I really don't care for most FPSs. I play through the campaigns, then toss them into a bin. And I didn't care much for World At War, so it's not like I just love Call of Duty games. These always seem to leave me wanting more, though. *Shrugs*
