Macklemore Posted February 1, 2021 Share Posted February 1, 2021 This is something that either of the Ghost Busters might have trouble with. Crossing the streams might work, but these aren't really characters that are hurt by physical damage. Remind me again how their blasters work? Do they attack the soul or something? If they can hurt intangible beings, that must be case. In that case Santa might fall down, but I'm still not sure on Pinhead. Dude is pretty much unkillable when he wants to be. Unclear what the Ghostbusters could do to either of these, although I reckon they could put up more of a fight against Santa even just with their fists. Maybe just the nature of which Pinhead exists would be harmed by the Ghostbuster's tech? Idk, he is like extra-dimensional right? Shouldn't that put him at a disadvantage? He resides in a Hell-like world that can only be entered through the Configuration, but I don't recall his disdain towards humanity having anything to do with him being a higher dimensional being. I don't remember Pinhead that well. Both of these characters are demons in their respective universes. Santa was tricked by an angel and forced to deliver presents for 1000 years and when that was up he returned to his favourite passtime of spending Christmas killing folks. After Lucifer abandoned Hell , Pinhead basically started killing off ruling class demons and Earth's magic users to gain more and more power. I think one key difference (I may be wrong about this) is that Santa's powers only last during Christmas and as soon as it is over in the movie (again, can't recall all of it) he has to run away because he has no more powers. That would be a major weakness, which for me swings it further in Pinhead's favour as through pure luck and running around the Ghostbusters may just survive him. DSkillz Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 I think the Ghostbusters are being a little underestimated in these Drafts for some reason. Given time to plan and make the right tech, they can and have defeated beings on par with both of these guys. That said, if Pinhead or Slay Santa act quickly enough, either of them could conceivably take the Ghostbusters.
