I think Stark might have this but there is the idea that they are in a locale Magneto should know well.Even if there's ways to block some of Erik's powers, Tony will still have to consider all options coming from that direction.

Indeed and I'm sure Tony could hack the Murderworld itself and use the traps at least for a momentary distraction while he preps something up. Team anchor at least makes this match pretty close.I'd hate to see this being of those alternative versions of either character if only because it'll get confusing.

I'd have put Magneto in the "Oh shit" category, myself. I think IM can give him a rough fight, but he's too powerful,

Depends on the version. Obviously, this isn't the strongest version of Magneto. That said, I don't think the setup allows for prep time. Iron Man is showing up in his normal armor.

Ironman for this slot would be wearing one of his early armors for sure to fit the slot. His early armors wouldn't do well against Magneto even if Magneto is't at full power here.

The set-up doesn't allow for prep but in a place that is consistently set to react with different traps designed to deal with characters, especially mutants, one has to think a tech man like Stark would use what he can from those traps. Whether in offensive methods or via diversionary tactics that would at least give him a slim amount of time to prep something while Erik crushes through the traps. The interesting thing about this match here is both sides should have a general idea of who they are up against and will probably go right into their usual methods of dealing with said opposition.

That page posted came from the Iron Man vs. Magneto one shot issue I mentioned above.

Anyways, the Armor change was a cool trick but I think in the end he had to do something crazy like point Stark Industries satellites at Magneto and channel the magnetic energy from Jupiter.  Something along those lines.  Don't know if he would have access to that trick in this venue.

Not sure if he could pull off anything along those lines i.e the satellite trick idea. Most of the MurderWorlds tend to be internal in nature and probably shielded in some sort of fashion.Still if anyone could pull that sort of trick even under those circumstances Stark would be one of them.

Ideally, the traps would be customized for the competitors, so there should be plenty of lethal, non-metal, traps Tony can try and use.

Magneto could simply alter the energy powering Tony's suit and leave him immobile for the traps.

Magneto doesn't need to use IM's armor against him, he still has the Earth's magnetic fields and the Earth's metals to use. He can and will make a shield. Nothing IM has will go through it. While IM is trying to hurt him, Magneto will manipulate the earth and take out metal that he can then use as a tempest that will cut all of IM's armor. Via like in the movie Part 1 when he is in that plastic cell.

Well, this isn't the OH SHIT Magneto, so Tony Stark at least has a chance here. I think he could pull out a win, but just barely.

Two reasons why Magneto wins this fight.

1) Murder World has a wide variety of spinning knives, elaborate deathtraps, and other metal based weapons which he can use to his advantage.

2) It's Magneto fighting a man in an IRON suit. 'Nuff Said.

For the record, not actually made of Iron. That said, it is metal.

I think it was the slot that did it, and Iron Man is kind of a hard name to get past when his opponent is Magneto.
