None were made for the Doctor. Saying he wins here is like saying Batman beats Supes in a random encounter.

Actually a crapton of valid arguments were made for the Doctor. You need only look up.

And no, evidently you don't know a whole lot about the Doctor (that comment about him being able to be beaten up by a crackhead was evidence enough >.>) because A: he vastly outclasses Batman in basically all areas as far as intellect goes, and B: Dumbledore is about as durable and resilient as a regular, aged human, which renders your analogy utter shite. The Doctor could relatively easily think up a way to incapacitate him with his tactical/strategic skills, plus tech. He's quite literally been in situations similar to and worse than this a thousand times.

I have seen every episode of the show since the new season one, which doesn't make me an expert, but I know who he is. Tell me, what does the Doctor do when Dumbledore casts a spell that would incapacitate him? What's the counter?

In a random encounter, The Doctor doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of winning against Dumbledore.

However if they are allowed prep, Dumbledore doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell.

Given the general setting of this, it doesn't seem like that they are allowed any time to prepare.

He's not that smart.

Yes he is - it might not seem that way from the bumbling persona but his feats-- what he's accomplished and the like-- quite honestly speak for themselves. Demon's Run, to use an example from the new series - he had, what, a dozen or so fighters on his side? Brought an entire army to its knees in something like three minutes and forty seconds. Then there's the Time War...

I'd like to know where he got his degree...

The University of Ushutyerhormouth

Again, you're assuming it would actually come down to a one-on-one physical confrontation. If the fight took place in an empty room and they were five feet away from one another then yeah, I'd agree with you. But it's in a jungle - all the Doctor has to do is drop an intergalactic flashbang or something like that, break for the woodlands and from there it's his game.

Though by the way, the sonic screwdriver can be used to knock creatures out - sends a pulse to the brain. I know he's said himself that it's not a weapon but he did it in that Christmas episode with the flying sharks. So with that in mind it'd basically become a quickdrawing contest between the two - pretty much up in the air, who'd win that. Though I recall it being mentioned that Time Lord reflexes are about ten times that of your average human's?

EDIT: @Kain Yes, if it was just a one-on-one fight, Dumbledore would crush him. Given the fact that they're on a jungle planet, it doesn't have to go down that way. On-the-fly thinking is a big part of what he does as well, and with access to his technology he honestly wouldn't have much of a problem.

Show me one episode where the Doctor uses an "intergalactic flash bang" This is a fight, so Dumbledore stomps him. And no, it wouldn't be his game even if he escaped into the jungle. Dumbledore has hundreds of spells to use so that he could locate and incapacitate the Doctor.

A LIVING planet that probably will listen to anyone, with large dense forests that have THOUSANDS of trees for the Doctor to cover?  Yeah, Dumbledore's got spells to cast to him through trees #sarcasm.

In the Doctor Who universe, HARRY POTTER IS A BOOK!  He's read all of them.  He'd know not to start off by just talking or gawking.  He'd gawk as he's running through the forest letting Dumbledore exhaust his magic and energy.

You completely missed the point but sure - not an episode but one of the 8th Doctor comics. "Bad Blood". :) I honestly cannot recall what he actually called them, but they basically amounted to that.

Proof that it's a fight? The terrain settings affect the stipulations of the contest - the Dredd vs Snake match, for example, involved the defusion of a hostage situation. The Pandora terrain seems to suggest stealth and tactical thinking will come into play.

Name such a spell. Accio might seem like an obvious one but it doesn't work on most living creatures.

Edit: Oh, the 7th Doctor used nameless flashbangs in "Remembrance of the Daleks", by the way. Just remembered.
