Namor has this. Namor can definitely move the fight toward the ocean. Once underwater Namor can smack him off planet for the win.

I'd say that Lobo has the edge in strength, but the terrain helps Namor. If he can take the fight into the harbor, Lobo's in trouble.

True, but that does require Namor to get the fight to the water. Lobo isn't the easiest guy to move. And since these two come from different universes, knowledge of each other is going to be very limited. I'd say Namor could win by using that drive Lobo has to always get his man to lure him to the water, but Namor won't be aware of that fault.

The water factor does seem to be key, Even if it's not intentional, a stray punch that knocks him toward and into the harbor, Namor hits the water running(swimming) and Lobo follows in pursuit of the fight; a mistake he'll only catch once he's too late into Namor's grasp.

I'd say Lobo has more than a slight edge in strength. I think even Lobo from Superman TAS is an appropriate anchor choice(maybe), and he was a beast.

not really he only did good against  superman because superman was holding back.

namor has done just about as good against thor and sentry  who are somewhat comparable to supes.

lobo is a little stronger but the advantage isn't as great as you would think.

Lobo as anchor is hard to judge, his power level is already all over the place. He took on 3 lanterns in blackest night no problem. That's pretty tough. As for Namor, he is very hard to beat around water and anywhere in NYC is near water. That being said, he lost to the thing in water in AvX so he isn't invisible just because there is water. I'm leaning toward Lobo.

the thing is on the same ballpark as lobo and namor  lobo's best feat is cartoonish eating a city I don't count that because he has never done anything like that since his next best feat is hurting superman and pushing him to stop holding back the thing has done that to thor and so has namor so they are all some what comparable in strength.

Just a thought. If Namor brings the fight to the water, it is possible that Lobo could catch him on that nasty meathook he carries and tow him out on his bike.

Killing his entire race is pretty impressive too.

Lobo isn't hard to trick or move the fight when battling him. You can pretty much piss him off and use his anger against him. Superman does it all the time.

Namor is also kinda a Hothead though.

I don't think that the Submariner would need to get him into the water, but would try to anyways.

Very true Namor at his most powerful was battling Thor and other powerful beings. He probably could knock him off planet without going in the water.

Wouldn't that Namor be above Anchor level?

The Thing incapacitated Namor under water.  Lobo will do a lot worse, considering he is more vicious than Ben.  Even if Namor suckers Lobo into orbit, Lobo can just call his flying motorcycle to catch him.

Lobo takes this.

I would love to see a scan or issue number. If it has happened, it is garbage, because Namor has gone toe-to-toe with Silver Surfer below water, and kicked Thing's ass on land.

Oh, and if Namor is in a bad move, no need to trick Lobo to get him to the water.

It happened in one of the AvX issues, I can't remember which one exactly, but there are a relatively limited number of issues in the arc, so you should be able to find it yourself.
