Rumble 13501 Wolverine vs. Superman

Recommended Posts

Logan was sitting at a pub drinking a rolling rock. He was watching the news on the tv and noticed that Superman has saved the day once again by arresting a drug dealer. Who does that bastard think he is? Logan thought. I'll finish him and show everyone that I am truly immortal. Logan gave the barkeep a tip and walked out the door as the bell rang. He then noticed that his van was missing, and he noticed that it was high up in the air. And it was being held by none other than the Man of Steel himself. Superman threw the van at Wolverine who quickly dodged it. "DAMN! That van cost me 50 thousand dollars!!" Wolverine yelled as the Man of Steel hovered his feet to the ground. "I hear you're a mutant. An immortal mutant. I can take you on easily," Superman confessed. "Well you're gonna have to repair for me after I kick your ass hard," Wolverine said as he brought his adamantium claws out. "I don't pay for anything," Superman said as they both began to face off.

Superman wins easy. He would just melt Wolverine with his laser eyes, mold him into a ball and launch him across the universe.

Superman could just snap Wolvie's adamantium claws with enough force.

he couldn't do that but wolverine does lack the strength to hurt supes with his claws.

Sorry you're getting hammered with all these mis-match comments. You're new enough they probably seem too harsh. I hope you weather the storm and stick around. You'll learn better what's a good match and what's a mismatch as you go.

There's no sound in space for you to hear that.

why do i constantly forget that? (oh i don't know, maybe star wars, aliens etc)

Anyways, welcome to the CBUB Godzilla54, we hope you enjoy your stay! As you may already know, this is the Rumbles board, where fights are generally held just to see who would win, no analysis needed (but it is nice when people do). The Battles board requires a setup, and the matchup should be relatively thought out (i.e. which version of the characters you are using)

Adamantium I believe is at least bendable. Superman's strength is limitless with the infinite mass punch.

Neither of these individuals are from Star Wars or Aliens, so that's moot.

adamantium can only be destroyed by altering it on the subatomic level thats what magneto did when he ripped wolverine's adamantium out.

and when thanos destroyed it in the ig storyline he changed it to ruber. superman is strong but his strength is not limitless he is about like thor or gladiator

he would beat wolverine but not be able to break the admantium.

Argh! Let's not get into that nonsense again.

Superman writers may use words like "limitless" and "infinite" in ways that rob the words of any meaningful information, but that only goes to show how ignorant writers can be.

Let's please not get into an argument about whether Superman's absolutely limitless strength can break Wolverine's completely indestructible adamantium bones. If you're taking any of these words seriously, it's a mind-numbingly senseless exercise in semantics.

Anyways, as mentioned, welcome to EF, Godzilla, and yeah, Supes has a multitude of ways to subdue/maim/kill/etc. Wolvie.

No, Adamantium is not bendable.

And no, Superman's strength is far from "limitless".

Yah Wolverine wouldn't win but he could probably survive a battle with Superman unless superman went crazy and went all out to make sure Wolverine was dead for sure

Just to reiterate what others have already said, Superman stomps hard. He could stand still and allow Wolverine to claw at him all day and he wouldn't have so much as a scratch.

not exactly. Judging by the golden supes he could potentially just continue to absorb sunlight and grow stronger. While it would take too long for a fight, he has no absolute upper limit shown.
