"God knows how long? First of all, you don't know how long, since I don't recall telling you. Second, I doubt Sh'ra have the intellectual capacity to tamper or even recognize what it is, and third, it doesn't degrade, because it's a virtual construct. It's software, not an actual physical weapon. Come on, simple logic. Jesus. People can't lose an argument anymore. I already said I don't need your help, I just thought it was something a competent commander would like to be informed of." With that, Omega would walk out of the bridge. It was probably not in the guard's best interests to disturb his path, but if they attempted, he would respond.

Alice: The commander sighs.

"Clearly....alright, perhaps we'll have a better conversation later then." she comments, noting that he was playing on 'his' team at the moment and no one else. As far as she was concerned, he wasn't in the mindset to do his job as a conscript, would probably be a liability at this point. She calmly about faces to the console in front of hers. "Guards, do escort him to the brig...maybe he'll be less of an asshole after some solitary." she states before pressing a small crosshatched button after flipping some glass and designating Omega.

Larkin: The marine was plenty humble, but he bares teeth at the satisfaction the 'compliment'. '

"Thank you sir, I'm just warming up. You wanna go a round?" he asks politely, motioning to a free stall..

Bridge: The guards turned to Omega, "Come quietly." They advised. The one that had let him on the bridge was mentaly kicking himself for letting him on. Lt. Jansen shook his head. "I'd do as they say, we can ort this all out later..... He didn't have time to finnish his statement when Vixen triggered the paralysis field on Omega. The security measure was designed specifically to incapacitate hostiles on the bridge. It was a non lethal device but proven to wrok on even the toughest of opponets

Martyr would find that the Sh'ra were known for their lightning raids able to cause large amounts of destruction and loss of life in very little time. They needed to act now.

The Pantheurian had meanwhile sent her messages away to the merchant vessels. "It's away, they're heading for the planetary shadow that might give them some cover from canners." She kept an eye on the scene going on with the merc.

Training Range: Satheera had meanwhile began popping off shots at a holographic Sh'ra, what was it about the other Daedalian that made Larkin nervous? She couldn't help thinking about it. Her shots were all close togeather and effeciently placed.

Mess Hall: Talon settled on the soup and sat at a far off table.

Anders would observe all manner of people, each were clearly differant job classes and species. They were a diverse bunch.

Gymn: The man stepped back from the blows, barely able to ward off the blows in time and when he blocked the force jarred his arms. He was at a disadvantage Pantheurian were faster than humans and also a bit stronger. He tried to check Tora's blows by aiming a thrust towards the center mass of the Pantheurian

Ships Hallways: The marine looked to the left "Uh, I'm from a cold colony planet. The ships atmosphere is to warm for me to handle right now. I'm trying to prevent heat exhaustion."

Deardra moved on past the marine officer. "He really could use a bite to eat right now."

Lonergan frowned. "That bullshit reason isn't good enough, especially with your insubordinate attitude. Fix your uniform, drop down and give me 1,000 push-ups. You're lucky I let you off so easily. Don't push your luck." He ordered the marine.

Tora attempted to parry the jab, then tried to return with his own, aiming for the stomach of his opponent.

Just as Talon left to eat his soup, he nonchalantly ordered his desire. "Soup and tea if possible." Anders just wanted basic food and drink. Nothing too complicated or exotic. His palate was relatively easy to please. If the cook suggested the special chicken fingers, he would not oppose and would try them out. IT has been so long since he had a proper meal. Back with his time at the Spears, Anders would just settle with bread, water, and the occasional jerky or tea. Once he retrieves the meal, he'd just sit somewhere, preferably in the spot where there is scant amount of people.

It wasn't that he was antisocial, it was just that the cold, steel-eyed Assassin was in no position to socialize whatsoever. He would interact when spoken to, despite the fact that he had little to say. Once he sits down, he will eat his soup and drink his tea/hot water with nothing but grim determination as his expressions. He was strangely quiet. He just also ate rather slowly and quietly. Nothing much to ask anyhow. The quiet man only hopes that he would not seem to pique curiosity from others. He also managed to try to focus on his own. The shooting range almost blew his cover. Anders this time plans to keep a lower profile.

Redfield

Jason continued past Deardra without another word, eyes focused straight ahead.

Matlock

Vincent rolled his neck to one side, popping it. "I don't see why not," he replied. He approached the armorer and requested practice ammunition for his sidearm.

Maharil was hearing the conversations that was goinon with both Satheera and the man and Larkin with the bigger dog, before she knew it, she blacked out. A day-dream like state, the doctors said that the problem was genetic, but she knew her Dad didn't have any medical problems. Though, what'ever it was it made her smile, warm and comfortable. She eventually snaps out of it, when the day-dream got too comfortable. She looked over to Satheera, she smirked as she saw her being a badass, hitting the targets one after another. She moved her gaze over to Larkin and the Big Dog, she blinks as she noticed Larkin was actually quite jumpy. "Larkin, you ok over there?" She asked, slightly worried for him the twitch of her ears showed.

Hell-cat just stood there in a stouper, before snapping back to reality. She looks around to notice that only She and Lilly were the only ones there. Surprised, she asked Lily what's goingon "Oh crap! Lily, how long was I out for? What happened to...that little guy holdin the door?" She then grabs her head, frowning, she scratches it. "I should really get that checked..." She mutters.

Bridge: Alice/Destiny/Martyr/Naomi/Jansen: The guards took the now temporarily paralyzed merc to the brig after checking to make sure he wasn't faking and removing all his possesions from him includding gear and weapons. He'd get them back when he was released.

Jansen shook his head at the entire situation. "Mercs, they think the rules don't apply to them." Upon hearing Marty'rs suggestion he looked over at the commander. Based on everything Naomi and Marty had said they had little time before the Sh'ra attacked. "I suggest you sound general quarters ma'am."

Training Range: Matlock:The armourer handed over practice ammunition to Matlock without question.

Satheera/Maharil/Larkin/Solus: Satheera chose to come to Larkin's aid. "He just is a bit shy meeting new people, and gets a little excited when he's shooting good." It wasn't true but it gave an excuse.

Mess Hall: Anders would observe Deardra enter the mess hall a half Pantheurian was at least an unusual sight. Talon also noticed him, "Oh, look who it is." He muttered to himself. The Xyl wasn't making any new friends quickly.

Gymn: Tora's parry was a success, as was the jab the blow landed knocking the previously cocky human to the floor. He let out a loud "Oof!" As he fell the wind knocked out of him.

Flight Briefing Room: "Do you space out like that often?" Lilly asked concerned. "Oh, him? He left for the messhall. Speaking of which I'm hungry."

Ships Hallways: Ace: The marine buttoned his uniform up and then promptly fell to the floor and began pushing. "One sir! Two sir! Three sir!" he counted off quickly.

Redfield: He would find the medical bay looming ahead of him if he wanted to enter it.

Anders merely continued, ignoring the exchange between pilots. He had more important tasks to do. The mess hall reminded him of boot camp. He was able to pass undetected without cover blown. Results would have been disastrous if he did not do as was expected in boot camp. With his order's training, he was also to be an effective sleeper agent. Whether or not he would be activated was up to circumstances. His sweetheart, Helen, has a possibility of being alive. He kept this in mind and was attempting to stay within cover during his time.

After he quickly ate, he dismissed himself to check at his battle stations. This should test his mettle since the toppling of the Spears. He recalled his joining, training, and years worth of experience with the Spears. The steel-eyed warrior and urban ninja was preparing himself for a battle. Anders was hardened enough, so this should not be any different from his time with the Spears. He also thought about who they would fight. If it was the Sh'ra, he would ready assassination methods, gun play, and blade work. Anders remembered his signature melee weapon: a hidden blade.

The design was disguise as a phone or PDA, making it a weapon that the enemy doesn't expect to be a weapon. He considered making another one if Helen is alive. After all, Anders thought once he meets again, he might make another one for her. But the urban ninja was digressing. Whatever unravels will wait for him.

Naomi nodded.

Tora merely replaced the pugil stick and then turned back to the once-smug man. "Don't flaunt any skill you may have so openly. As you can see, it can and will attract unwanted attention to yourself, and possibly lead to your demise." He'd then leave to wander the hallways of the ship.

Alice/Destiny: The commander nods. "Do it." she states, before trying to figure what they needed to do. With any luck they'd have a clear battlefield. cause a fight was ahead. Destiny meanwhile, congratted Martyr on a good call before waiting at her station, she'd been in plenty of onflicts but on a ship was new. She gripped her console, a bit nervous over the whole thing.

Larkin: "Erm...." the daedalian begins to mutter before Satheera comes in for the assist. Everyone focusing on him wasn't exactly helping. "Well I mean, first day jitters." is about the best excuse he can put up to the group.

Redfield

Jason casually approached the med bay, giving the interior a sparing glance.

Matlock

Vincent took his ammunition to the booth between Larkin and Solus silently before removing his sidearm from its holster at his hip and loading it before placing it back in his holster and setting up a target at ten meters. He exhaled briefly before drawing his blaster pistol in the blink of an eye, bringing it to bear, and firing off three rapid shots: two to the chest, followed by one aimed at the head.

Bridge: The Pantheurian punched a button and the alarm klaxon began to blare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-D_gP7hR6Q

"General, quarters! General, quarters! All hands man your battlestations! This is not a drill!" She spoke after the alarm had blared.

Lt. Jansen took the liberty of checking his sidearm before taking his station though he hoped it didn't come down to him having to use it. At that moment two Sh'ra frigates were appear out of slip space accompanied by one squadron of fighters. A frigate was no match for a destroyer but two frigates were a definite threat; it was best to try and neutralize them quickly and take them out one at a time.

Training Range: Satheera was back to shooting when the alrm Klaxon sounded. "Running drills already!?" She gripped then the comms officer declared that it was no drill. "Oh, thrache!" She said. Fortunately they were close to thheir action station already.

Mess Hall: The relative calm of the hall was interrupted by the GQ alarm, and then it was chaos crewmen sprang from the tables and darted for the doors each running to his or her station. "Finally some action!" Talon yelled. Deardra was trying to calm himself as he sprinted for his station.

Gymn: The man on the floor could only wheeze and nod in response and then the klaxon went off.

Ships Hallways: The marine doing push ups said a few choice swear words under his breath hoping the gunny was out of earshot, and then the klaxon went off. "Hell yeah!" He yelled springing up from the push up position.

"Well shit." Lonergan said as the alarm went off. Turning back to the marine, "You got saved by the bell." Lonergan stated as he started to run towards the armory.

Redfield

Jason's heart skipped a beat at the sound of the alarm and the subsequent declaration. His eyes narrowed and without hesitation, he turned on his heel and strode purposefully towards the training center.

Matlock

Vincent lowered his weapon, listening intently before springing into action following the comm officer's statement. He reloaded his sidearm before backing away from the firing range. He pointed to Solus, "Warrant Officer! Grab your gear and get the other MAs equipped and in formation."

Matlock then went about his own duty, calling out for any Masters-At-Arms in earshot to arm themselves and fall in.

Anders was already there by the time the alarm sounded. He just knew something would happen. His training always told him that attacks can happen anytime. The Steel-Fist clan member just knew that he would have trouble. This means that he was mentally preparing for combat.

Though he grew up in the post-war era, he always have heard about the Sh'ra and read what he could on them. He also played his techniques in his head and how to use them properly. If in an urban area, he would be ready to demonstrate a style he has been practicing for years: Evolved Urban Combat. This martial art involved street fighting, urban combat, speed, precision, and the element of surprise. He also took lessons of boot camp into mind. With a blend of styles, he becomes a deadly force to become reckoned with.

Four strategies were ready to be played: Swift like the wind, quiet like the forest, fierce like fire, and immovable like a mountain.

"-Are you alright?"

No...He wasn't. In his expert medical opinion, off hand he would say he was either suffering post-traumatic stress or similar. What else could it be? Why else would he be imagining explosives in his dreams...The cries of the dying he couldn't save, the thrill of a starship as he took it into turns, and a scowling woman who- Wait, what? He blinked in confusion as he looked blankly at the paperwork before him. First and foremost in particular, what was meant to be a write up requesting that he be checked out to the commander. Alice..... For some reason his skin flushed at the very name and with a scowl, he logged out as he took a measure of his own personal medicine...A nice cup of hot chocolate on the side as he tried to think things through. He thought he was beyond the whole soldiers game of rating women, more so those in command. Obviously she earned it and of course she was....A very attractive woman for all intents and purposes but for several reasons.

One of which was her age compared to his and second was that he never actually met her in person nor she him. So filing it away as an obviously juvenile fantasy he would- Alarms would ring and with a curse, he sprung to his feet and smoothly called out to his aides.

"Prepare the med bay! This is not a drill and lives shall depend on us soon!"

And turning he suddenly froze....And cursed as he shook his head and moved to the main surgeons area, weapons on hand including for some reason the sword he always had....Why the hell was he trying to head to the fighter bay?!

Alice: The commander watched as her bridge crew mobilized, their maiden battle was imminent. She wasn't nervous though. Whether it was faith or confidence, this wasn't her first rodeo. However as two sh'ra frigates appear in the blink of an eye in front of her, it was diminished ever so slightly.

"Dammit...ok everyone, we gotta move quick, which ship do we have a better chance of singling out?" she questions before telling everyone to prep the onboard weapons damn quickly. She grips a railing tightly with her left hand as she watches her crew go.

Destiny: Destiny stayed at her station, biting her lips. One wrong move and they were space dust. She looks over to the Pantheurian officer, once she's finished giving the message, the Rhyshellen gives a thumbs up. They were going to get through tis. As the ships appear in fronts he stares it down as Alice gives out orders. With that done, she turns to Martyr.

"You heard her ringtail..."

Larkin: The Daedalian watched Vincent go. It was actually pretty impressive, he knew his way around his pistol if nothing else. He was about to ask if he as versatile with other firearms when the alarm went off. He winces a bit as the blaring noise cuts over gunshots. The distinct noise actually causes Larkin to wince a bit, he was unused to that noise. By the time he shakes it off, he sees Satheera moving out. he turns to Maharil and puts a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, make sure we don't lose those engines eh?" he chuckles nervously wishing her friend luck.

Martyr: "Turn right, open fire on the ships, focus fire on whichever ship is closest at the time." Marthyr advised as she thought. "Try to keep the other one busy, 6 guns aimed at closest ship, 2 on farthest. We can take them..." She added. She was sincerely hoping they were right.

Bridge: "Navigator lay in a course." Jansen ordered Naomi. The Xyl pilot seated next to her clacked his beak nervously.

"Sh'ra fighters incoming, looks like they're ignoring the civvies and going for us." This was said by a lowly scanner tech on the bridge, he was a young male human. "Looks like they're armed with anti-ship missiles." Jansen was pacing the deck. "How soon can we deploy fighters? Someone tell them to launch!" Things were already moving fast Commander Remington's orders were crucial now.

Armoury: OOC: All Marines and Master At Arms are here now

Satheera was quickly donning the lightweight armour and had a combat vibroblade sheathed to her leg. Likewise Tora, Larkin, Ace, and Anders were all being equipped with all basic combat equipment and weapons. "Didn't think, we'd be seeing action so soon." She said aloud to no one in particular, her tone sounded non chalant but it seemed a bit put on.

Likewise the Master At Arms were also being prepared they could be boarded or asked to board an enemy ship at any minute. All officers, warrant officers, and NCOS were receiving data about the current situation. Two Sh'ra frigates with fighter support were attacking. To the side one of the marines was struggling to don his armour he was fidgeting badly like his nerves were getting to him.

In another part of the armoury the marine that had been chewed out was acting rather cocky, "Yeah, time for me to kick some ass!"

MedBay: Pastor would recall regs he was obligated to spare a few medical personnel to the marines should they be needed for first aide. Who he sent was entirely up to him.

FighterBay: Deardra sat in his cockpit feeling himself shake, it wasn't fear exactly it was a whole range of emotions he felt though fear was definitely among them. This was it his first battle, all the training all the drills he was about to put them to the test. "This is what you've been waiting for Deardra." He told himself; he had always wanted to be a fighter pilot just like his dad had been.

Talon meanwhile was eagerly awaiting the signal to launch he wanted to get a few more kill slots to his name that pirate he'd dusted was so long ago.
