Anders knew that his talents were to be used.  Charging head on is nothing more than a death wish.  This must be done with skill and stealth.  The chaos produced must be worked with.  The Sh'ra were still not to be trifled with.  Even if he does take life, it was best not to shed one tear of remorse.  Anders has took life before and this will not be the first time to shoot or shed blood.  The chrome eyed Assassin was just ready.  Perhaps his unconventional allies could be of great help to him.

Now that the ship was breached, it was wise to exploit the moment.  However, the element of surprise must be maintained along with the element of stealth.  He scanned the area actively to exploit the environment.  One small mistake in calculations and planning can spell disaster.

Redfield

"Secure the area!" Redfield commanded the Marine contingent over the comm channel. "Watch your flanks!" He had his MAWS at the ready, near the rear of the Marine task force out of necessity.

Matlock

"Keep your heads on a swivel," Matlock told the others within the first boarding craft as they prepared to breach. He checked his plasma rifle one last time, positioning himself near the airlock.

Alice: "Fire at will! We gotta let that thing know it's got our full attention." the commander states. She looks at the rest of the bridge crew, she had to think; why now all of a sudden? There had to be an ulterior motive...with any luck they could bring in someone to question on that subject.

Destiny: The communications officer looks at the aimer sternly, this was life or death for more than just them. As The Captain gives out the order, she verifies the way only she can.

"You heard her, take the shot and shove something down her engines! It started the fight n' were finishing it!" she calls out. She looks to the tactician, she was dong something calm. It was a little impressive in it's own right, but she hoped that the Selurian would be ready in case the frigate didn't take the firing lying down.

*Larkin: He silently move sin line as they get in the transport ships. He mentally hoped the thing wouldn't be too tight a fit, but even his nose would probably survive the trip. Not that those kind of thoughts should be at the front oh his head...old habits though.

"oorah" is all he responds with as they're told to strap in. He follows orders of course, he grips his weapons tightly as well. Right until the det-charges are being set up, then he relegates the shotgun to the shoulder strap so he could cover his ears, they were delicate things. When it went off he quickly re-equipped the shotgun and moved quickly to pour out, first point-man in if he could manage it. The weapon trained forward and his eyes dart around the room s he looks for 'bad guys' to open fire on, to his credit he moved like clockwork.

Hellcat: "That was good guys, real good. Just let the itchy trigger fingers do their job, but stay alert, we don't want any surprises." Hellcat says through the radio, taking a defensive orbit around The Gunship. She then almost forgot about the other two. "Talon, Cutthroat. You guys o.k. over there? Come back after you have your fun, don't venture too far off the Operation Zone."

Maharil: Maharil was holdin still, heart still thumpin in her chest. The shaking seemed to have stopped and there hasn't been damege to the shields as of yet, but she was still careful. She eyes around the room she was in and called out if anybody was hurt.

Martyr: Martyr looks up from her books, her mind racing. "They're trying to get destroyed. They can't be that stupid. They have to have some sort of info." She said. "I suggest destroying the propellors and capturing the ship with all alive." She said shortly afterwards.

Bridge: Naomi probably knew better than Martyr Sh’ra psychology, fight and fight till you die, they cared little about dying only on inflicting a much damage as they could on their enemies.

The guns on the Starfire opened fire. The Sh’ra frigate took a few shots before the engine were hit and then there was a bright flash as the ship blew itself to bits. The Pantheurian comms let out an exclamation at the light show.

The Sh'ra ship: As Larkin and a few other Marines came out of the blown door they were first met with litle resistance. But then from the far left down the ships corridor a dozen Sh'ra opened fire with blasters. One marine went down from multiple shots the ret returned fire. Satheera instead of immediately returning fire checked right and saw another team of Sh'ra. "Heads up! They're trying to pinscher us!" She opened fire downing a Sh'ra warrior, the creature went down from a headshot.

As the second gunship carrying Redfield would dock they would get a transmission from the boarding party, “Sh’ra crew is trying to pinscher us back.†The marine detailed their position in regards to Redfield and the rest of the team.

In Space: “Should we move on that second frigate?†Deardra suggested; just then A reply came from Talon directed towards Hellcat, “Yeah, we’re good now, nanny.†The comment was definitely rather disrespectful.

Engineering: As Maharil caught her breath she heard a low moan coming from down the corridor.

Anders stayed hidden.  It was unwise to attack head on, as he thought before.  A double envelopment was taking place.  If the marines can split for the divide and conquer trick, he could take down some with sharpshooting.  Anders saw that the right side was vulnerable.  Anders was ready to take down a few Sh'ra using his weaponry.  As he prefers precision to brute force, he attempted to shoot down the most dangerous enemies first, but he also tried to stay hidden while also helping his allies.

The assassin was using asymmetrical battle tactics.  All warfare was based on deception.  It was wise to be deceptive and skilled as Sun Tzu would have advised.  The chrome-eyed man escaped annihilation at the hands of the Armed Forces once.  He also had similar predicaments during the downfall of the Spears.  The only way possible to ward off the marines would be an attrition strategy.  However, the attrition strategy would be a Pyrrhic victory at best.

Matlock

Vincent rallied the other MAs. "I want a base of fire on those Sh'ra!" he shouted, indicating the second party of the creatures who had arrived to counter their boarding. He was intent on letting the Marines handle the other group. It wasn't a comfortable situation -- his Masters-At-Arms and the Marines were practically back-to-back with one another, squeezed into the tight confines of the corridor. He hoped that they could hold out long enough for reinforcements to bolster their position and force back the Sh'ra counterattack. The sounds of plasma and slugthrower fire filled the corridor and Matlock added to the din, firing at the Sh'ra with his blaster rifle.

Redfield

Jason took in the information relayed to him. "Alright, watch your corners and move toward the first boarding party. I want to hit those Sh'ra in the flank if possible, roll them up in detail. Move as quick as you can but be careful, damn it. Don't get sloppy out there," he said, directing his orders at the NCOs throughout the Marine contingent.

Moving to lay down suppressive fire, Lonergan opened fire with his biggest weapon. Hearing Wright over the comms, his mouth tilted upwards in an almost imperceptible smirk. "You heard the man, reinforcements coming in quick and hard. Watch your fields of fire, keep it clean and tight. Understood?" He yelled over the sounds of his and the other gunfire.

Hellcat- "No, Lynx. We take definsive manuvers, just in case..." Hellcat then hears Talon over the intercom and she laughs. "Is that really an insult? It's going to take more then that to hurt my feelings, Tweety Bird." She then regains composure and orders Talon and Cutthroat back to their postition.

Maharil-Maharils ears perked up, her heart started racing again as she heard the moan. Steeling her nerves, she took another breath before carefully jogging towards the lowmoan. "Hey...where are you? How badly are you injured?" She says worried.

*Alice- Capt. Remington watches the enemy ship ignite in a big burst of energy. She shield's her eyes from the blast with a frown.

"I think they're down...." she mutters aloud, but her crew was in one piece, that was the important part. Regaining composure, she looks to the rest of the crew. "Alright everyone, doesn't mean the battle's over yet! We got some marine's we gotta get back home. I want every piece of info I can get, make sure these raiders are the only things we gotta worry about.

*Destiny- "Jesus, she said disable it not vaporize it." the intel officer snarks to herself. Nevertheless when the orders were given, Destiny was up and shouting. "You heard her! You know what to look for, let's go." she answers at her station, heck signals from the vessels that had been evacuated would be something

*Larkin- The young Daedalian was lucky to not be killed in the crossfire, he quickly falls back onto a kneeling position before unloading two rounds of buckshot at the initial dozen coming down the far-left corridor. As Satheera called out the other group, larkin tries to maneuver out of the main path of anyone firing from the far left and he returns fire again with the shotgun once more.

:orders sir?" he yells in between shots, mainly at Solus the MA but if anyone had bright ideas it'd be appreciated.

Bridge: "Eh, lucky shot I guess." The scanner tech replied. Jansen glared at him for the comment but couldn't really find an excuse to admonish him for it. "Orders ma'am?" He asked Alice

The scanner tech spoke, "That Sh'ra frigate is all we have to worry about right now, no hostiles present." The Pantheurian chimed in with her own report, "All friendly vessels report that they're clear."

In Space: Talon didn't get the referance to Tweety bird but he pieced togeather it wasn't complimentary, Just then the Starfire blew the Sh'ra frigate to bits. "WOAH!" Deardra called. After the blinding explosion had subsided there was nothing remaining but bits of debries. "Hoo, yeah!" Cutthroat called out.

Sh'ra Frigate: Two Marines went down one hit in the chest the other in the leg, "Eat it!" Firebrand yelled as she fired a few bursts with her squad support weapon downing a few Sh'ra, the smell of charred flesh, smoke, and blood was already filling the corridor. Satheera was laying prone snapping off shots.

Vincent would find ne of his shots connect hitting a Sh'ra warrior square in the head, there was a guttural yell as a Sh'ra warrior leapt forward oblivious to the gunfire and flung a grenade at the squad. it landed between Anders and Lonergan. The Sh'ra warrior fell to the deck plates riddled with bullet and blaster holes.

2nd team: After the door was breached, Reffield and his team found themselves in a practically deserted part of the ship, no Sh'ra rushed to meet them but they could hear the echoes of gunfire coming from the 1st teams position. As they advanced a group of three Sh'ra would appear two instantly went on the attack raising their guns and were instantly dropped by the marines. "Hostiles down!" One called out.

The third Sh'ra however was carrying ome kind of device and ducked through a doorway avoiding the conflict, this was unusual behavior for Sh'ra most would jump into a fight without hesitation; he had to have some reason for doing it maybe it had to do with the device he was carrying. "Orders sir?" One marine asked. The 1st group was just ahead of them but that odd Sh'ra was definitely not something to be ignored.

Engineering: "Over here!" A man's voice called out, "I think I twisted my ankle! And my head feels funny." He added, he seemed to be right ahead of Maharil, a few steps in and she would find a human laying on the floor half sitting and half laying on the floor plating. His head had a nasty bruise his foot wa harder to see if there was any harm done as he was wearing boots.

"Move!" Jake bellowed, the sounds of his sprinting steps toward the grenade overshadowed by the constant din of gunfire. "Keep the bastards off me for a few seconds." He ordered as his foot moved swiftly towards the grenade, launching it with a kick back towards the area the hostile Sh'ra were gathered.

Redfield

Jason thought quickly. The first boarding party needed their assistance ASAP, but that Sh'ra warranted further investigation. He turned towards one of his senior NCOs. "Harris, take a fireteam and a support weapon and make your way towards the first boarding party. Back them up; hit the Sh'ra in their flank. I'll take a team with me. We're going after that Sh'ra. Everyone else, stay here and guard the boarding craft. Keep these things from crawling up our asses. Understood?"

He pointed out four Marines to accompany him.

Matlock

Vincent covered Lonergan's movement with a barrage of plasma bolts in the direction of the enemy, attempting to suppress the Sh'ra just enough to keep the Marine alive.

Anders was careful enough to avoid being in the way of Lonergan's kick. Assuming the grenade has been deflected, Anders also acted cautiously to protect his unconventional allies. A few carefully placed shots would help. As a result, Anders made sure to shoot carefully to support his allies. Lonergan was among the top priorities.

Solus returned fire covering Lonergan. When the way was cleared he would rush down the hall afeter the fleeing Sh'raa. They don't run so something was up. He would stop at the wall corner and peek around. Continuing if it was empty.

1st Boarding Party:  Several Sh'ra went down from Anders, Solus and Matlocks gunfire. The gunny moved forward several plasma bolts whizzed dangerously close to him one even searing his cheek, but he reached the grenade and launched it back with a kick. The grenade exploded in midair between the two parties.

When the blast had subsided there seemed to be a lot more dead Sh'ra then when they started, a push forward might be enough to secure the area but there were still Sh'ra on their flanks that Satheera and the others were still exchangign fire with. Suddenly the weakened Sh'ra would fall dead with shots to their backs as the bulk of the second boarding party arrived.

Redfield: "We're with you sir." One of the Marines accompanying Redfield said. The four marines were four humans three men and one woman. As the small detachment made their way through the hall they could hear a lot of Sh'ra language echoing off the walls. They were gettign close to the engineering section if the schematics were accurate. Around the corner was five Sh'ra one dressed more eloquently than the others obviously the ships captain one of them was the one that had run and he was kneeling on the floor presenting the device to the Sh'ra captain.

This was now clearly a ritual sacrifice at times Sh'ra would blow their own ships up using a scuttling charge to the engines taking themselves and their enemies out.

*Alice- "We'll that's a relief." she mutters, glad this was simplified now. "Alright then, tell the ships to circle and regroup. Those marines need as much help as we can get. Floor plan, extra backup, anything." she states, hoping her could figure something out from there.

*Larkin- Witht he guns firing forward and the tam's shots landing on the sh'ra, Larkin gets a bit confident. He takes a moment to reload his shotgun before steadily moving directly forward, ready to blast a hole into whatever popped out at him. He called back that he'd play point man as he tried to take some ground.

Matlock

"I've got your back," Matlock called out in reply to Larkin, following several feet behind him and to his right, plasma rifle leveled down the corridor ahead, ready for contact. "Keep it tight and watch your sectors."

Redfield

Jason took in and analyzed the scene in milliseconds, the gears turning in his head, processing what he saw in front of him. He acted just as quickly -- and decisively. Raising the MAWS, the operative lined up the sights on the head of the Sh'ra presenting the detonator, pulling the trigger to send a two-round burst towards it. He would then storm into the room, making room for his trailers to back him up. With any luck, their element of surprise and violence of action could secure the scene before the Sh'ra could effectively react.

Anders shifted his eyes again. The honor-bound sociopath sensed something was amiss. Normally there would be a bulk to fight in an attrition manner. It was a common strategy for the Spears to take themselves with the enemy. That was essentially one of the Spears doctrines: Never compromise the brotherhood. The Sh'ra was making sure they were not to be compromised. However, this was all based on gut feeling. The doctrines he grew up with guided Anders' every move.

Solus popped in a few rounds to reload his revolver before following behind Larkin. "Goatcha covered pup." He said following him. Revolver at the ready.

Bridge: "We could probably lock a tractor beam on that frigate, discourage them from running anywhere." Jansen suggested. "Tactical, get on it." He said to Martyr.

1st Boarding Party: Larkin's charge dropped two Sh'ra the cover fire kept the rest down, but as the Daedalain stepped over one of the bodies he would find his legs knocked from under him, one of the Sh'ra was playing opossum, it instantly  tried to get on top of Larkin and tear his throat out with it's jaws. Larkin's shotgun had slid away from him.

"No!" Satheera shouted she tried to shoot the Sh'ra but couldn't get a clear shot. Instead she fired on one of the other warriors who was getting a bit overconfident and sniped him with a headshot. The Sh'ra warriors retunred fire and killed one of the MA's. A marine went down from a shot in the leg. Things weren't over yet. The other Sh'ra tried to surge forward now that they had checked the momentum of the boarding party.

2nd Boarding Party: Redfield's headshot was successful the explosive rounds popped the head like a bloody water balloon. The other other marines followed him in opening fire with their carbines, one of the other Sh'ra went down a third tossed a vibroblade like a javelein towards Redfield, the others opened up with their sidearms as they scrambled for cover.

Alice/Destiny- The Commander looks over to Jansen...that might work.

"Alright, let' see if we can maneuver in there, doubly so if we can get keep em inside the ship." she orders, trying to get everyone back in spirits. Destiny likewise was trying to get everyone moving again despite the previous stop.

"Guess that guy's got something to him after all." she grunts, referring to Jansen.

Larkin- Larkin was feeling confident as he was keeping the enemy's heads down; he had two shells in his shotgun before he needed to reload and his allies were assisting with support fire, so him being tripped up by a tricky sh'ra was unexpected. Larkin hits the floor back-first, weaponless for the moment. As the enemy combatant tried to take a bite out of the young Daedalian, Larkin's training kicks in and he shoots his strong hand up to grab the Sh'ra by the throat before Larkin became lunch.
