Beat the team

Recommended Posts

We haven't had any of these threads for a while, and I usually enjoy them, so I decided to make one :)

Rules:

Top power level - JLA/JSA core team members.

No reality warpers, time manipulators or probability manipulators. Also, no matter manipulators(though they may be allowed if they generally don't use that power. like Thor).

No power mimics/power stealers.

Team - Must have 5 members.

Fight: It will be a straight up fight(2 minutes to make a quick plan, during which any powers are turned off).

Victory Conditions: Death, K.O., Incapacitation, or Surrender.

Everyone is In-character, but are(for unknown reasons) willing to work together with whoever they are placed on a team with.

The team to beat:

Superboy(new 52)

Martian Manhunter(new 52)

Iron Man(bleeding edge)

Magneto

Alan Scott(sentinel)

Hard Knox

Sage

Spectrum

Holocene

Steel Will

Steel Will goes toe to toe with Superboy. Superboy's vicious nature keeps him in the fight in the beginning, but once Steel Will realizes that he's not messing around, he puts Superboy down for good. Maybe with a punch that can cause earthquakes, maybe by throwing him up as high as he can.

Hard Knox takes out the Martian Manhunter. He's got the mental discipline to resist Manhunter's telepathy for long enough to shout in his ear. Especially if he can take in ambient noise from the fighting around him. Seeing as he has two minutes to plan, he's gonna tell Sage to make a lot of noise and then he's gonna use it.

Speaking of, Sage, goes up against Stark. Sage is gonna warp all around the place, dodging homing missiles and machine gun fire. He's going to have powerful wards up as he is going into this fight prepared. He'll find some way to rip through Iron Man's defenses. After all, you don't become the most well-known wizard in the world without picking up more than a few ways to skin a cat.

Spectrum vs Magneto. Woah, I don't even know. Magneto is the master of magnetism but Spectrum IS electromagnetism. Can Magneto disperse Spectrum to the four corners of the globe? Shit, I don't know. Spectrum and Sage could switch up and probably do better this way. But the idea of Spectrum vs Magneto was just too cool.

Holocene vs Alan Scott. I'll admit, I don't actually know who this guy is or what he can do. But Holocene has no concept of space or distance or not being where he wants to be. He throws a punch into open air and then teleports so that it connects with full strength. He's also got low level telepathy to figure out weaknesses and amazing reflexes to assist with dodging.

so only jsa/jla core members?

The JLA/JSA core members is the guideline for how powerful characters people are allowed to use.

Apollo

Superman

Black Adam

The Hulk

I was thinking of Superman from Kingdom Come and the Hulk at his strongest in World War Hulk, if those specific versions are acceptable.
