can you beat this team?

They can claim it all they want, but as long as he continues to show superhuman feats, like seeing bullets fly through the air towards him, then he's superhuman.

Then we're going to be hard-pressed to find a regular human. Even Punisher took a punch from Sentry, a punch that by all accounts should have turned him into red pudding...and was relatively okay. If that's not superhuman durability...I don't know what is.

Mister X and Elektra both have powers

Elektra and Mister X are borderline human. And if the OP can choose Cap than I can choose her and X.

X does not have telepathy powers. This was proven when he fought Iron Fist. He just predicts your moves.

Mister X is stated as a "low level telepath" and Elektra can mind control someone, hypnotize people and has her silent scream. not exactly normal.lol

You do now that Elektra fought without those powers and she is still stated to one of Marvels best Street level fighters...So I'll remove the powers.

ALso Mister X still couldn't predict Iron Fist moves.

Actually, he maps onto the neural impulses of his opponents, and he has speed feats that put him well above the level of an ordinary human in that regard.

If the Op can choose Deathstroke who is said to have a healing factor and use 98 or 99% of his brain and Cap who has done superhuman things. Than why can't I choose Mister X?

The Drunken Fist thing really shouldn't have worked. Mister X isn't really a telepath, he maps onto the neural impulses of his opponent, so even if Iron Fist himself didn't know what his next move was, Mister X still should've been able to counter it because Rand's brain still sent out impulses.

Because the creator of the topic stated you can only use human-level characters. He used a superhuman, yeah, but that doesn't mean you can. The challenge is to come up with a team of humans that can take his out.

So? No one ever said that the OP has to follow its own rules.

I would have thought they should do. Otherwise the Op could just choose a team of high-level comics and stomp the other teams.

seeing bullets fly through the air towards him

Punisher took a punch from Sentry, a punch that by all accounts should have turned him into red pudding

Then i guess Marvel has a pretty bloody extreme definition of what "peak human" means.

Actually, he's a low level telepath.

"mapping the neural impulses" is just another, more fancy sounding way of saying it.

And he has plenty of 'speed feats' that are well within human limits as well. Like not being able to catch Amadeus Cho.

Isn't Cho superhuman? As in, actually superhuman, not Marvel-superhuman, like Cap?

Like I said, Mixter X is a low level telepath, Amadeus Cho is just smart, no real powers.lol and yes he is top 8 in Marvel. the only thing that makes it seem like a power is the fact he needs chocolate.lol

Neural impulse mapping is pretty different to being a low-level telepath. If he was a low-level telepath, his powers would be useless against someone with telepathic defenses. If he mapped on to neural impulses, his power would work perfectly fine against an opponent with telepathic defenses. I'm pretty sure it's just a case of Marvel retconning his powers without explanation.

He was basically toying with Cho at the time, so he had no reason to catch up with him. Besides, we judge a character's capabilities by their high-end feats, not their low-end showings. Spider-Man gets tagged by the Punisher, but we all know he has superhuman speed, right?

Some of X's better feats include somehow climbing to the top of an MMA cage in the time it took Taskmaster to grapple there, and he did this so fast that Taskmaster (a guy who catches bullets) couldn't even see him move from the bottom of the cage to the top, as well as deflecting machine gun fire from Black Widow with his sword.

No, he's a regular human. A genius(top.. 8 or 9 on the planet), but a normal human.

Jeez.

There's a difference between being superhuman and having superpowers.
