  1. Just seen it and will do if there's still room.
  2. I don't see why not? Considering he's carried it on him before and could just as easy summoned it to himself. If we bring that in mind then you are indeed correct that the sword might just be something that would at least give him some chance of battle back. After all it tends to be pretty powerful in it's nature. Indeed this is true although they tend to be a specific sort. Not sure he'd be able to harness any extra stuff from one of the creatures therein. This place does have the sort of energy that he'd enjoy though.
  3. House actually went to great lengths to catch a mouse in one episode. At least I think I recall it might have been a mouse considering the peanut butter and what not he was using.
  4. I'll go with Grayson on this one. While Bruce might have the stealth skills and is a master in several martial arts, Richard's had to deal with martial artists that err on the side of almost superhuman in their levels of durability and power.
  5. Roger's dealt with a cartoon baby before though giving him experience there. Not a great experience but something he knows about. Jay and Silent Bob's baby will probably end up getting kidnapped at some point while they are arguing over something randomly happening in terms of plot.
  6. Still Strange has bested Doom before with him settling in for second. So it'll come down to how Strange contends with the strength of something like Doomsday. He's liable to have some sort of spell to deal with the tech since it is someone he knows about.
  7. Wins against the Chicken aside I think Peter will have a little more trouble in terms of this bird in a slap fight. Sure he'll hit hard but this duck has had his beak blown lopsided and upsided and off and still manage to come back after fixing it. So I say Daffy so far.
  8. Both can do this with Harry actually seeing this as part of his job. Frank's bound to kill any trying to kill him but so would Tasker. Not sure yet.
  9. I think anything political and Homer is probably a sign of the end. That said what's Todd done in political action directly?
  10. Well he'd at least feel at home in this sort of environment psychologically. Water pressure might be a problem but nothing more there I suppose. She's faster by a bit sure; he's not slow by any means but to Tia he is. I guess it'll come down to what those spiritual attacks might be able to do with someone who's a power conduit of spiritual energy coursing through him.
  11. It is a creature of fire and of darkness. Power of the magnitude of Gandalf would be required to handle this thing. A god destroying it certainly, a device made by man no matter how modernized? Quite doubtful. Nilsson, for all the gaming mechanics that allows for him to heal off gunfire and explosives, is not healing anything the Balrog tosses at him. Want proof? Gandalf slayed the Balrog at the cost of his mortal form. It was only that his work wasn't finished that he was even returned back as Gandalf the White. Mattias has no other form to come back as does he? Gandalf went chasing after the thing back and forth from the underground all the way to a peak of a mountain. It took eight days of pursuit for him to even get in a close enough location, which in this case was a top of the peak so pretty much the be all to a dead end there. Then he faced him for 2 days/nights so round that up as you will; one could say that means two with the third day being where he finally tossed the Balrog off the peak and died himself. Even at it's death the creature did damage to the mountain as it crashed through. Without the proper gear he;s not handling Arrakis for that amount of days no matter how trained a merc he is. The maximum temperature, at least what the stuff in the back parts of Dune suggest, is 332 Kelvin. Now math is my weakest subject ever but I do get some gist of science, others can help out if this is wrong or not, but I think that would roughly translate in the range of ..what 135-137 Fahrenheit? Sure humans can bear with extremes in temperature at times but it usually involves proper hydration, shade, and other such measures. Unless you know where and how to look Nelson is not finding this sort of stuff without some sort of guide to help him, and that's not even counting that his movements would be attracting the worms at him as well. Balrog vs one of those worms? Can't really say but I'd think maybe it can be swallowed whole? Nothing ever tried as far as I know in the Middle Earth unless one of the dragons did? But Nelson? A fair to easy meal since he's not going to know where they'll appear until it happens. Even if somehow a helicopter was spotted him it'll find a means to get to him because eventually that chopper will run out of fuel which can't be found easy in the desert. A tank? You might as well put a bulls-eye on it for the worms let alone worry about the Balrog then. I doubt any of the named characters will just happen upon this battle so no aid coming from there. Since we are seeing desert still I'd presume this early Dune times so there are Fremen around in their hidden locations within the desert. Helping a stranger to their planet face an unknown creature? Not really sure but I think they either might leave well enough alone or attack both depending on how they perceive what's going on. That's even if one happens by where ever the battle is at because there is a lot of ground to cover out there.Others who've read more on the novels could probably better handle solving that hypothetical situation.
  12. Courage does have trouble convincing others that strange happenings are going on. Stewie at least might be able to make a go at it.
  13. I concur with all of the above. Widow might win based on people's knowledge of experience alone so some discussion from both sides will be looked for.
  14. Damage Mayhem can take and the slapping would take a while to hurt him. However the Warners will add more annoyance into the slapping then anything else. He might be annoyance incarnate for those who need insurance but the Warners make all sorts of problems that insurance companies have to come up with new words for them. I think the siblings have this.
  15. I don't even think the Balrog would feel a lot of those bullets. Being a creature of fire and shadow not even calling for outside help, an actual impossibility in this case as it would have to be intergalactic in nature, would faze this creature here. Being in Arrakis only helps it more given the condition of the planet would mean nothing to it. However I'd enjoy the Balrog and the Sandworm match that would follow suit.
  16. Crap. Jean Paul (or do we go by this newer sort in this case?) is ruthless. Not saying Butler isn't nor that he'd lose so easy given the amount of terrain we got in the city. Still I'm going to wait a day before I give more explanation on a possible defense from Domovoi. Just to add though while Jean beat Bane, Butler did bash in a troll. Just a start.
  17. I'd have to go with the one that found his way to somehow float through space. Seriously that was one of those WTF moments my first time playing Kingdom Hearts. For a more fuller answer I'd say Moby might have some chances if only because he's probably been hunted after more. This would mean he'd have had more times where combat situations were necessary to deal with and he'd had to adapt as they happen. Monstro at most did not have that much in combat in the story did he? I can only recall the whole swallowing bit as it were.
  18. Darn the happiest place on Earth just got the tourist season stopped what with Omega's death spores. I have a friend actually going there too this month, going to have to warn her .. I''m going with Daken on this one in that I think (might be wrong here mind you) he could handle those spores of Red's and he'll be able to get to Archangel by sheer height locations throughout that park. A grand leap off of the Big Thunder maybe? Of course now I'm visualizing Arcade having run Disney World for years which probably explains the ticket prices and the obvious to me now Madcap designed ray lurking at Splash Mountain to make it more "flashy " so to speak.
  19. Some of the stuff in the books does not compare to the stuff you see Rorschach spouting in Watchmen. For him to consider those conspiracies as something in the norm for him means this stuff here would be right in his territory to handle. He's also bound to be able to out Dexter despite the precautions the man usually takes. You know how he tends to know right off how others too have their own "Dark Passengers" and can sniff it out as being another predator in the land of much prey? Rorschach's passenger went out to lunch and left the madman run the asylum for good. If he should cross paths with Dexter in this case, more feasible then anything, don't expect Dexter to come out of this the same..and that's even if he's allowed to even still live after this.
  20. In terms of those two Mumm-Ra IMO would win. Skeletor is pretty uber in magic himself but anything he's done usually has some sort of crystal or staff directly involved. Add in Evil-lyn, who while not as powerful but stays strictly in working with magic all the time, and that sort of lessens his rep as well. Don't get me wrong if they matched up the magic would be flying all over the place. However while Skeletor's magic comes from a lot of study, innate ability and his Staff, Mumm-Ra's in direct conduit with the Ancient Spirits of Evil. Now I don't know if he could take the Sorceress herself as she'd have some help from the Spirit of Greyskull within the Castle. Seeing as we know what sort of power that entails thanks to He-man and She-Ra it's possible the Ancient Spirits might not have enough juice to aid any attempt by Mumm-Ra in Eternia. He'd probably, well more then likely would, use Skeletor and his minions to do the dirty work/lead any of the Masters on a chase away so he could concentrate all of his thoughts on the Castle itself.
  21. True but he could destroy the breathing apparatus, slink into the woods and continue to attack him from a distance from up high. Sure the Hulk can leap, can toss stuff up at his foe, and so on but he can't levitate or fly. As to thinking Classic Hulk weak. Well I was equally amazed to see it suggested Mumm-ra could only handle Lou's version of the character being how versatile the ThunderCat villain's been shown to be. Sure The Hulk is smart but it's not like he's facing one of the Mutates who'd screw up this battle. If Mumm-Ra's getting involved then it could be taken that all other options have been wasted, Mutates and the like if this was an crossover episode, and the leader had to come in to deal with the problematic creature itself. He's not going to go head on if he thinks it'll be to his disadvantage. Unless he's holding the Eye in one of his purple shorts there is no real reason Mumma-Ra's flying right at the Hulk in a fit of rage. He's still got to deal with someone who can bring a slew of magical attacks to bear.Shrugging off magical swords is different then mystical bolts. He'd lift the Hulk with telekinetic magic and toss him away from the battleground if he had to get a chance to work out a different tactic. Cinematic wise Mumm-Ra's a user of deception. It's perfect IC for him to attack from hiding and stay in constant motion in the air, blasting the ground out from underneath the Hulk, trying to use the other creatures and even the tribes of Pandora as a means to an end.
  22. I will convince you that you are correct though? It can't be unrealistic that someone who's always looking to improve his skills would look into the history of marital arts. The PR universe at least is mostly culturally similar to our own to suggest Lee's movies are around to watch if Tommy wanted to.
  23. I'd never seen a Hulk that would not need some sort of breathing involved? Mumm-ra's not some foolish fighter after all. Unless it was for the Sword of Omens or the Eye within that Sword I'd not consider him the sort to rush right into some sort of monster like the Hulk. He's used time manipulation before and has both imprison and freed one from being stranded in a time-warp.He can stay in the air for far longer then the leaping power of the Hulk and fire bolts from there. If the Hulk grab him it's not like he's some weakling either as he does have some strength about him. He's even enslaved his exact opposite who served the forces of good into serving him and evil in general. Placing him in falling only to the slight bodybuilding version of the Hulk is limiting he who is the Ever-Living. I can't see him against the World War Hulk but then again this isn't him.Even if he can sustain the gases here, yes the Hulk has withstand space and underwater after all, he's going to have to adapt to this sort of environment once the apparatus is off whereas Mumm-Ra might as well not be wearing it.
  24. "Bah Doom needs no needs of preening features! For he has even cowed the Richards woman! He has dined with international terrorist hunters and weather goddess. What need of Dante have Doom!..save to send you into an inferno your devil killing soul will never return from!" Yeah I'd only want to know what sort of defensive tactics Dante might have against Doom. For now siding with Victor.
