  1. "Thanks for the assist."  Anders got back up, dusting himself.  Fortunately, he was ambidextrous and it didn't hamper too well.  He attempted to mend his wounds as he thought the medics would blow his cover with records.  He could not trust anyone, not even his "unconventional" allies.

  2. Willow realized that evading won't help.  She won't go gentle today.  Her silly antics would not save her this time.  She attempted to fire at the enemies closes to her with energy blasts.  As soon as they concentrate fire upon her, she would attempt either a human shield or use her pheromones to make them drop their guard.

Alec would spot the evacuation area and attempt to get Samson there.  Fortunately for the two, a bullet train would be perfect for evacuation.  The bug man also ran as fast as possible without harming or dropping Samson.  "I went through the mess just for you, Samson."

  3. Anders counters with a swift strike to the throat. If that wasn't enough, a swift strike to the ribs. He utilizes the pressure points in order for his enemy to get off. He also makes sure not to get skewered by the claws. The steel assassin knew how to fight well. He grapples with the reptilian in order to get him off. The adrenaline kicks in as he attempts to kick off the Sh'ra  This time, he did not have his cell phone zip blade with him.  Unarmed was with he had to do.  Still, he took advantage of every pressure point possible on the Sh'ra enemy.

  4. Willow decided to evade. She was irritated with the masses in the way. That attack failed. She must find another way. A walking pair of breasts could only fight so hard.

Alec on the other hand had so much more to handle. Naot just he had to save his potentially foolish friend. He will also chide him for the less than rational actions. "You were a skin cell away from becoming a pair of boots. Please don't get yourself killed!" Common sense wasn't really itself. Alec's tolerance for the dense didn't exist. Overall he'd grade the experience as a failure.

  5. The enemy attempted a top approach which Anders was very familiar with. He also knew the mechanics of the techniques involved. The Sh'ra was doing it incorrectly. Now what he had to do is to shoot at the running Sh'ra to cripple if no kill. The approach was similar to the rear approach method. After the crippling shots, he planned to finish with a burst shot to the mouth.

However in melee range he would instead use his weaponry in tandem with the Evolved Urban Combat style he was trained in. The martial art was best suited for an urban and low space environment. It will have some use in the contexts. If he had the cell phone zip blade with him, he'd use it.  It was a weapon he usually used for assassinations up close.

  6. "It seems like we are the only ones who made it. To hell with this anyways. We need to compose ourselves. All of us were just one pubic hair away from becoming sand."

Yusef said one sane moment. The situation was so drastic that he was out of character.

  7. Anders had a feeling that the ship was just going to blow. He decided that the time turned from the marines having a cunning plan to a desperate mission to hold the line. Anders thought it was best to hold the line. He goes to hold the line with fellow marines.

  8. Willow thought quickly and erected an energy shield. She plans to use an energy warp against the enemy. The warp is a weaponized version of the shield in that she shoots it at the enemy. An energy shield bash is the application.

"Well there, another fine mess.". Alec made a resolve to rescue Samson. He rushed himself out to carry Samson across. He exploited every distraction available. Samson must be rescued so he will certainly live and learn.

  9. Willow resorted to hit and run. She blended right back into the crowd. She was to use her energy wisely. The Succubus noted that some of them had strong minds. That was not helpful whatsoever.

Alec told Samson in an annoyed manner, "Samson you'll get yourself killed! Are you nuts?" If he was in a position to go after him, he would. Otherwise he doesn't want to hold up the evacuation line.

  10. Anders shifted his eyes again. The honor-bound sociopath sensed something was amiss. Normally there would be a bulk to fight in an attrition manner. It was a common strategy for the Spears to take themselves with the enemy. That was essentially one of the Spears doctrines: Never compromise the brotherhood. The Sh'ra was making sure they were not to be compromised. However, this was all based on gut feeling. The doctrines he grew up with guided Anders' every move.

  11. Anders was careful enough to avoid being in the way of Lonergan's kick. Assuming the grenade has been deflected, Anders also acted cautiously to protect his unconventional allies. A few carefully placed shots would help. As a result, Anders made sure to shoot carefully to support his allies. Lonergan was among the top priorities.

  12. Alec was evacuating with everyone else.  "Oh jeez not this shit again..."  He has become irritated and annoyed rather than scared.  The bug man knew the "security" of Reach City was...not so secure.  Perhaps they cut the security budget just to host the events.  Either way, there should have been some amount of common sense behind the planning.  Sure the orientation was exquisite, but it still bored him, if not irritated him.  Either way, he might regret coming to this city.

Willow, inspired by Rose's assault on one of the men,  Equipped with throwing knives, a push knife, and her superpowers, she was ready to attack at the ripe opportunity.  She also realized that her pheromones can influence the behavior of the weaker minded enemies plus her energy manipulation can enhance her fighting ability.  She attempted to throw a knife at a vulnerable enemy or two, enhancing the kinetic energy output.  The mass remained the same, but the velocity was doubled.  This provided more force behind the throw.  Also, her colleagues needed a distraction.  As a result, pheromones were to be utilized in order to distract or alter the officers and soldiers.

  13. Anders stayed hidden.  It was unwise to attack head on, as he thought before.  A double envelopment was taking place.  If the marines can split for the divide and conquer trick, he could take down some with sharpshooting.  Anders saw that the right side was vulnerable.  Anders was ready to take down a few Sh'ra using his weaponry.  As he prefers precision to brute force, he attempted to shoot down the most dangerous enemies first, but he also tried to stay hidden while also helping his allies.

The assassin was using asymmetrical battle tactics.  All warfare was based on deception.  It was wise to be deceptive and skilled as Sun Tzu would have advised.  The chrome-eyed man escaped annihilation at the hands of the Armed Forces once.  He also had similar predicaments during the downfall of the Spears.  The only way possible to ward off the marines would be an attrition strategy.  However, the attrition strategy would be a Pyrrhic victory at best.

  14. Anders knew that his talents were to be used.  Charging head on is nothing more than a death wish.  This must be done with skill and stealth.  The chaos produced must be worked with.  The Sh'ra were still not to be trifled with.  Even if he does take life, it was best not to shed one tear of remorse.  Anders has took life before and this will not be the first time to shoot or shed blood.  The chrome eyed Assassin was just ready.  Perhaps his unconventional allies could be of great help to him.

Now that the ship was breached, it was wise to exploit the moment.  However, the element of surprise must be maintained along with the element of stealth.  He scanned the area actively to exploit the environment.  One small mistake in calculations and planning can spell disaster.

  15. Alec was awakened and responded.  "Yes.  I now had my fill of sleep.  And I'm starting to get a feeling that shit just got real."  He knew something was amiss.  But the entire nature of it was unknown.  If a crisis happened in the villain room, he'd think privately that they deserved it.  A scuffle will make him roll his eyes.  The only thing that he cared about is that the crisis does not spread to the hero room.

Willow witnessed the happening and she did not deem herself powerful enough to stop them.  She wasn't recharged and her powered would be rendered moot.  She cannot play hero, though she is willing to do so.  Willing but not able were the words.  Today was taking an unfortunate turn.

  16. "Outside my inner circle, people call me 'Assassin.'" Anders also looked at Esperanza, now calling herself Firebrand, further in the eyes.  This gesture meant that he was by no means shy and timid.  The chrome of his eyes became more apparent.  He captured her facial features to read her emotions.  Whether she was trying to boost morale or investigate was important.

As soon as the PA announced, he ran with the rest of the marines.  The enemy was most likely to be Sh'ra, judging from what he has read about the past war.  Renegades must be abound or perhaps rogues that are holding a grudge.  It would be damning if he had to slay his comrades that turned to piracy or mercenary work.  Anders was ready and prepared.  It was showtime.

  17. "..." Anders was not shy at all. But Esperanza was too bubbly for his own good or it seems. The chromed Assassin rolled his eyes. "I do have a name. It's Anders." If Anders was not vulnerable to have his cover blown, he'd be more amicable. He did not like to have his tongue wagging, but it needed, he will. Anders thinks he is one step away from the chopping block due to his past. The steel eyes of Anders would become more visible. If she was an ex-member, then he'd be more open. He thought in his head: If Helen is still alive, she'd behead me if I talked to another woman. I doubt so and I'll get compromised if Helen doesn't behead me...

Anyway, the biggest surprise would be that the Marines and Gov. forces will forgive Anders for his past. Right now, it's making sure he does not get caught and he should elude any threat of compromise. Being practically a stealthy killer was difficult in the environment, but he has the skills.

  18. Anders thought in his head that his cover was potentially blown! Damage control is needed! He quickly turned to the woman, called Esperanza, and replied, "Nothing's wrong. Still on guard." Even if Esperanza looked familiar to him, the chrome-eyed assassin still needs to keep his cover. Now his cover could be in jeopardy. His voice also appeared in a monotone. If she did look familiar, she was likely to be a fellow ex-Spear member.

Anyway, it was back to work. The enemy can board the ship anytime soon. It was best for Anders to stay alert and ready. Without the mindset, results could mean trouble.

  19. Anders used his skill in parkour and freerunning to regain his balance. He was not a clumsy human at all. He was well coordinated and skilled. Though he did find a fellow marine, Larkin, fall as well, he also realized that many marines did not practice the style of acrobatics Anders used. To maintain cover, the chrome-eyed warrior helped up Larkin if he needed help. Strangely, Anders stayed silent. The chaos may not be enough to maintain cover. He took everything happening to note.
