So I've been busy these past few years, running games and such. For your delight and my own amusement, I have opted to show some of what I've been doing. The following is a roleplay I've GM'd for some folks, using the Curse of the Crimson Throne and using a setting more familiar to my players. I'm happy to have such good writer and I hope you enjoy our collective work.
It had started out with a little ad on the Paranet. The growing, online network of supernaturals and po
It shouldn't end... I've seen plenty of things come and go. Bleach is ending Kiruko-san ended with a short 3 volume run The resting of the Ferret... I was hoping this day never came but... I'm afraid it did. I arrived long ago; I think in 2000. No account, just found a site talking about who'd win between Naruto and the New Teen Titans. I didn't think I'd ever join a site where votes determined the winner but hell, I like talking. Picking my name from a couple I liked (and I really wish
A few days ago marked the retirement of FoxFingers. This means it is the beginning of the end. I remember on the site various cycles, good and bad. Now it is time to say my goodbyes. Goodbye and good luck to whatever friends I have on this site. Goodbye and good riddance to those who hate me. I will not join the next Electric Ferret cycle. The internet is very big. I will not be missed. It has been decided that I'm leaving the place and related entries for good. Why am I leaving? History rep
Well, this is my first attempt at a blog, let alone for this site. To start off; I'm starting a new mini tournament arc. However, while I want to add a few comic book characters, the hard part is actually adding some who are strong but not outrageous. When adding characters like Cars (JoJo's Bizarre Adventures) and pitting him against Starfire, the results can be endless but difficult to make. The tourny itself is more based from JohnnyChany's story series and a fan-made Death Battle series
Well, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from working at a McDonald’s for the last few weeks, it’s that people are massive jerks. As such, I’ve decided to provide you with a handy-dandy little guide on how to not be a complete imbecile when you go to a McDonald’s. 1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE YOU START CROWDING THE COUNTER The people working the front counter registers have several jobs, but one primary function: to get people in and out of line as quickly as possible. People who wa
Yeah, I'm back, more or less. Hopefully a good chunk of you remember me. For those of you who don't... Hi. I'm Canis. There's virtually nothing to like about me. Anyhow, I have now returned. I'll leave you to decide whether or not it's a triumphant return. Meh. Sooooo.... yeah. I've noticed the site's gone through a complete overhaul, so can somebody please 'splain to me if there's anything I need to know? That'd be greatly appreciated.
"The game that everyone can't stop talking about!" A line paraphrased from one of the commercials about one of the most hyped gaming releases of 2013, and while that statement is indeed true-- it's not exactly the kind of talking that either Twentieth Century Fox, Sega or even Gearbox wants to hear from the fans or gaming critics. As a matter of fact that there is something of a major controversy regarding this particular entry within the Alien franchise, major complaints have been made from b
with another Star Trek movie coming out next summer, you may feel the hype and want play Star Trek Judgement Rites again. sadly the game was made for DOS, meaning it won't run on modern system. thankfully there is DOSBox. an emulator that can run old games on modern systems. go to DOSbox.com to download. then install the software. then go anbandonia to download the game. it should take about a few seconds. then open the RAR file and move the folder STJR to somewhere on your hard drive. then dr
O.k., so I've been thinking about doing this for a while now, and haven't had very much time to work on it. But I am now officially working on a super hero comic book series. I don't have a name for the books yet, and I don't completely have a back-story for the main character yet, but I have the hero, and the starting villain sketched out and have their abilities written out as well. I mean, it's a start, right? If anyone would like to read it as I write it, I might upload it onto deviantart
yesterday, comic book legend Joe Kubert passed away. he will be remembered. read more about it in the article below. http://bkbn.net/profiles/blogs/comic-book-artist-legend-joe-kubert-passes-away-at-age-85
So, our movie for today is one that you probably haven’t heard of, due to the fact that it is an indie movie, and it didn’t have a wide theatrical release or very much, if any, advertising (there was an ad, but I never saw it). Taking the fact that it was an indie movie into account, you may expect it to be visually lacking, and probably a worse movie than a bigger produced movie. Actually, who am I kidding, you’re defiantly thinking that an indie movie doesn’t have as high production va

Chapter 1: The pokemorphs’ journey The Rachel, the Animorphs ship. flew towards the blade ship; those inside each ship knew this was it. Game over. It would end in a stalemate. Inside, I smiled that oddly reminded Marco and Tobias of my cousin, Rachel. Tobias smiled, he would finally be reunited with Rachel, and Elfangor... and Ax. Marco was the only one not smiling, he actually did not wish to die. The ship would crash in mere milliseconds now. The ship crashed, sending the three of us flyi
After the introductions of the supporting casts of each show, we have to go to the introduction of the next advancement of each character. I’m trying to be fair here, but at this point it’s impossible for one of the characters on this list as he doesn’t really get any new attacks or powers. So to be fair, I’m focusing on their first real growth of each character. Naruto: Mostly this is about the time after the Zabuza arch where Naruto learned to better control his powers. Around
I should preface this by saying I don't think the title will have much to do with this blog post whatsoever. Anywho, it's almost midnight and I'm listening to Cat Stevens and attempting to write a paper about the difference between current day Chicago and 1950's Chicago's sense of community. Cool story bro. Ran 83 miles this week (I'm including my 3 mile run tomorrow). That's pretty cool. Except I farted blood today, my testicles hurt when I walk, much less run, and my hip is tighter than a 2 ye
And this is not a good time to do so. 2nd mile is all about finding a good pace. However, I'm writing this while I should be reading for the class I have in an hour. *vulgarity* IT! Gotta find pace, gotta find place. TheRipper decided to open up a new site called Refuge and Respite. Of course, it being TheRipper, it isn't just about Admins, Moderators, and Members. It's got *vulgarity*ing High King, Jarls, Citizens, Thanes, and whatever the *vulgarity* else Ripper wants in his dreamland. Apparen
So my history here at EF has always been very singular. I started out in the CBUB. I stayed there, with no mind to any other part. Then I went to the FPL and only really cared about that. Then, for the past 5 years, I only really cared about the forums. My oh my, how the forums have changed. The EF was completely redone, with a new beta and everything. Nostalgia has rarely hit me as hard as it has here on the EF. Even with Pokemon and whatever else nostalgia is supposed to work with, EF is up to
Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia Fear of 666. Which, of course, has nothing to actually do with today's rambling. I just like that word.
