The group consists of Bride of Nine Spiders, Dog Brother #1, Fat Cobra, Iron Fist, Prince of Orphans, Tiger's Beautiful Daughter and formerly the Steel Phoenix. The Immortal Weapons first appear in The Immortal Iron Fist #8 (September 2007) and as a group, were created by Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and David Aja. After the characters introduction in The Immortal Iron Fist #8, they remained supporting character in the series until its cancellation with issue #27. The Immortal Weapons will star in their own series beginning in July 2009, with the first issue, focusing on Fat Cobra, written by Jason Aaron and Duane Swierczynski with art by Mico Suayan and Travel Foreman.
