 | The soul is just another fanciful equation. An infinite equation, for it lives on beyond the mortal coil, but even infinity can be predicted. At least, the mere moments that make up infinity can be predicted through simple calculations. Almost trivializes the very concept of infinity. What does that make life, if every moment in this vast, unintelligible world can be predicted one at a time. Sure, the whole is still mysterious, but the individual parts become mere statistics in my mind. I really shouldn't dwell upon the fact, but as I continue my calculations, obtaining brief glances into the once-unknown future, I cannot help but begin to see the pointless nature of life. I do not live in the moment, but in a future which I see before it happens. No surprise. No joy. Nothing unexpected. Monotony in revelation. Perhaps I should spare you the unexpected end of your own meaningless life? I have seen it, it is mere moments away. |
