Immortus. Once a famous biologist, a tragic car accident and an infusion with the cellular regrowth serium changed his life forever, twisting his mind into becoming the killer known as Immortus. The Cellular Regrowth Serium made him nearly unstoppable when participating in the FPL and was only stopped by a final battle with Joe Bigg Gunns when a molecular disruptor was brought to bear against him, reducing Immortus to sub-atomic particles. Many thought it was the end. It was not the end. Proton met neutron met electron. Atom met atom. Molecule met molecule. Cell met cell and tissue met tissue. The Cellular Regrowth Serium was strong indeed. Months had passed and at the site of the fabled battle and what Dollarcorp scientists had retrieved was what was soon to become Immortus. A singular strand of nerves was picked up and deep frozen before being taken to Dollarcorp labs. Information gleaned off of the nerve strand confirmed its owner. The plan was simple: clone Immortus. Enhance him through use of nanotech drones, turning him into a what is essentially a pile of living nanites. Control his mind. Use him as the prototype for Dollarcorp's newest super-soldier. It would have worked out perfectly if Immortus, now dubbed Cybortus, hadn't gotten loose and gone on a killing spree through all of Khazan (detailed in Cybortus Eternal). Contained for a short period by Dollarcorp Special Ops, Cybortus escaped captivity again when the power grid went out briefly. Not a single person in the lab survived. However, high above in the Fallen Tower, Marc Dollar cackled with glee. It was he who had caused Cybortus to go out of control. It was he who had orchaestrated the killing spree. It was he who had set him loose a second time in the streets of Khazan. Dollarcorp, through subtle manipulation of Cybortus's emotions via a transmitter from the Fallen tower, had succeeded in both creating and testing the perfect pawn. Cybortus continues to stalk the streets of Khazan, claiming victim after victim night after night, the KCPD helpless to stop him. He has already gained a reputation as one of the most feared serial killers in history on his own. When the Fallen need an agent to carry out their plans with no harm to themselves, they fire up the nanotech manipulator from above and Cybortus becomes a deadly servent to their cause, thinking that all actions he takes are his own while he destroyes the enemies of the Fallen.

Personality: There is no middle ground. Cybortus goes from cold and calculating to dangerously psychotic in less than a second as his bloodlust begins to take over his mind. He is extremely sadistic. Whatever was left of who he once was has been stripped away and replaced with something else entirely. Something that's only reason for being is to see others in pain. Sure, he can converse on existentialist philosophy with the best, but rest assured that the only time he'll do so is when he's drilling out your eyeballs with a spoon.

Nanotech Regeneration: Part I

An invention of Dollarcorp Labs, the nanites that Cybortus is composed of enable him to recover from any physical wound whatsoever. The principle behind this regeneration lies in the complexity of the nanites. The nanites that make up Cybortus's body can take molecules from anywhere, be it the ground Cybortus stands on, water he swims in or even the air he occupies. The nanites then take these molecules and rearrange molecular bonds until they become new nanites, replacing the ones he looses in battle, letting him recover from any wound. Gashes close up immediately, new flesh replaces any that is damaged by burns, organs resolidify as soon as they liquify, diseases are purged from his system instantly... No wound is safe.

Nanotech Regeneration: Part II

The nanites are programmed to work at lightning fast pace and boy do they ever. Cybortus is able to recover from wounds faster than many can blink, at speeds that defy the eye. If one were to try and cut off his arm, before the severed arm hit the floor a new arm would have ALREADY grown back. If you dropped him into the heart of a volcano, his flesh would replace itself so quickly that it would look like he's not even being burned at all. Gashes will close up AS they are being made, so when you finally slice through him, it will look as if nothing had happened in the first place. It's that fast.

Nanite Body

  • Power: Weapons Creation
  • Level:Supreme
  • Ranged and Melee Attack! Attack is equally effective at range and up close.
The nanites don't just heal Cybortus. The nanites are under the direct control of their wielder, Cybortus, who is able to shape them into a variety of implaments. As if made of liquid metal, he is able to shape his arms into deadly swords, his fingers into jagged knives, his fists into smashing hammers. As if that weren't bad enough, through intense training he has learned to exert even more control over his nanites to now be able to produce things like pistols, rifles and (his personal favorite) vulcan cannons, out of his body, extracting ambiant molecules to form unlimited ammo. Up close or at range, he is truely a being to be feared.

Kuy-Kuy-Thaijitsu

  • Power: Martial Arts
  • Level:Standard
  • Melee Attack Attack usable only hand to hand.
Cybortus, as Immortus, was a martial artist of no mean skill. He had created his own style of martial arts which combined the best aspects of ninjitsu, akido, muy-tai, jujitsu, and dim-mak (the art of striking preasure points) into one deadly art. Further use of the cellular regrowth serium have corroded his mind and as he focuses more and more on simply killing the victim, he has turned less and less attention to his art and thus his style has turned into a whole new one whose only goal is to cripple and kill.

Fallen Control

The Fallen do not appreciate it when their unwitting pawns are taken away from them and as such their control beams they send out to manipulate Cybortus also emits a counter-frequency to disrupt some mental disruptions that may affect Cybortus. This control grows stornger each day that Cybortus is under its influence.

Nanotech Enhanced Senses

  • Power: Hyper-Senses
  • Level:Standard
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain Khazan Mall
An experimental addition that the Dollarcorp scientists were unable to develop further, Cybortus can hear at frequencies that are normally inaccessable to normal life forms. This helps him hear his victim's breathing when she tries to hide, tells him what direction he is running in when he thinks he can escape and makes the screams all the more satisfying when he finally catches them. Still, in places like the mall, there are far too many different things to hear at once, so they are rendered useless. Evidence has shown that the nanites are self-evolving, as they seem to have been able to develop an internal power source on their very own to allow Cybortus the benefit of this hyper-hearing whenever he needs, without the time limit that once restricted him.
