Another day, another trip through one of those goofy portals everyone kept leaving laying around. So it was for everyone's favorite Warrior-Mage, Xerzes H. Maureen. It was a surprisingly boring existence, despite exploring different worlds on a nearly daily basis. After you've seen a hundred realities, they all start to just blur together. And so it was that he hopped into yet another portal, and a short trip through the Groovy Land of Portals later, he came out in what he would learn was known as Khazan. Throughout the day, he ended up having to defend himself from various vagrants and people who actually had self-confidence, and yet still had the desire to attack him. By the end of the day, our little fighter was more than ready to return home, but the portal was nowhere to be found. After a fairly thorough search of the surrounding alleyways, he discovered that he was indeed stranded there, for the time being. With little else to do, he wandered the streets for a week or so, and eventually he found his way to the Arena of Khazan, where he registered for the fighting league there. And so he comes, looking to fight, to keep in practice if nothing else.

Personality: Xerzes is usually quite the happy-go-lucky fellow, always ready to comfort a friend, with a pat on the back and alcohol in each hand. However, when in battle, he's much less jovial, and focuses on winning said battle. To recap.. drinking with Xerzes: Happy Xerzes. Fighting with Xerzes: Not Happy Xerzes.

Magely Powers of Goodliness

  • Power: Spellcraft
  • Level:Supreme
  • Area Effect This attack causes damage in a large area.
  • Seeker This attack hunts and follows its target.
  • Ranged and Melee Attack! Attack is equally effective at range and up close.
  • Armor Piercing This attack ignores normal defenses which are not Reinforced.
  • Multi Attack Attack can hit multiple times during one strike.
Xerzes, being a Warrior-Mage, has magickal abilities. Duh. As such, he's capable of all sorts of powerful spells, such as dropping a cow made of energy on his opponent, or turning them strange colors. You don't think turning them funny colors would affect them? How do you think you'd like it, bucko? That's what I thought. Of course, these aren't the only things Xerzes is capable of. No sir. He could make a big pointy stick out of energy and throw it at his opponent. Or shoot a greay many fireballs at them, one right after another. Not fun.

Whoop Dat Ass Real Good

While never trained extensively in any one type of unarmed combat, Xerzes is still more than capable of holding his own in a fight. He's had bits and pieces of different styles taught to them, and he's cobbled together his own style from it. He can whoop dat as real good. Real good indeed.

Harbinger

  • Power: Slicing Attack
  • Level:Superior
  • Armor Piercing This attack ignores normal defenses which are not Reinforced.
  • Multi Attack Attack can hit multiple times during one strike.
Again, qualifying as a Warrior-Mage, he has to come equipped for the title. Xerzes carries with him a pitch-black longsword, which just happens to be named Harbinger. It's not a particularly special longsword, but it's sufficient for its job of harming others, so it'll do. It's a fairly light sword, so it can be swung quite quickly, and thus quite often, doing an even better job of harming others. It's a fine sword indeed. And, as Xerzes has gotten some money from all these wins, he's gotten Harbinger reforged, with stronger metals, making the sword capable of going through both armor and flesh much easier.

And I Know How To Use It!

Of course, he knows how to use that sword. He's been using it for a fair number of years now, and actually took the opportunity to get some formal education in its usage, too. He could probably even put on a decent show, if paid properly. And, as he continues to fight, he'll only get better.
