[Time: 21 years ago, Location: Hidden Underground Complex] Nadia's eyes darted about wildly as she ran rapidly down the hall. She knew the way out of this place, she'd seen one of the guards go out and was planning to finally escape. She made it to the hidden door and outside before the alarms sounded. Breathing heavily she kept running as shouts rose up behind her. "I'm only seven." she thought as she ran, "How do I get away from these big men?" Still she pushed onward through the overgrown woods that hid the entrance to the complex. She could hear them getting closer, but there was another sound in front of her. A train. She could see the clearing ahead now and with all her strength she began to sprint as fast as her little legs could go. With a gasp and startled scream she broke free from the trees and found herself falling off a small cliff. The ten foot drop ended with her landing head first on a box car rolling along the track and being knocked unconscious. [Time: 14 years ago, Location: The Young Family home - Uptown Khazan City] Mrs. Helen Young and her husband sat on their adopted daughter's bed trying to calm her down from her latest nightmare. Nadia's memory had been lost when she fell onto the train but every so often she'd have a flash back while sleeping. She'd never remember them after waking, except once when she was about nine. That night she retained the memory of her brother, nothing more. Still, they always left an odd feeling in her. After she'd relaxed some, had a glass of water, and convinced her parents she was ok she went downstairs to get a snack. Grabbing a soda from the fridge she continued down to the basement where her father trained for his boxing matches. She walked up to the bag and stared at it seeing a face from her nightmare. She screamed in anger and punched the bag with all her strength. The steal chain's it hung by snapped and the bag soared across the basement slamming into the wall ten yards away. Tonight's nightmare had been like no other. She'd seen her kidnapping, and her parents' death. She remembered it all, including the face of the man responsible, and her 'inheritance'. [Time: 11 years ago, Location: Cyber-Ware Industries, Nathan Han-Tao's office] "And what can I do for you young lady?" Mr. Han-Tao asked. "Don't patronize me!" the girl standing on the opposite side of his desk shouted. "You know who I am and what I want, and I will....." "Young lady," He interrupted. "I assure you I don't know you. Now if you would kindly leave or do I have to call security?" Nadia's face contorted, "You hired him to kidnap me, and my brother. He told me himself, and I can assure you that I will find my brother and....." "That's enough! Security!" Nadia shook her head and turned, "I'm leaving. But I will be back." She turned and walked out just as two security officers reached her. They reached out to grab her and with one smooth motion she threw booth of them through the open door into Han-Tao's office. Inside the office Nathan watched the bodies land. From a side room two more people entered. Nathan turned to one of them, "Wolf, make sure she leaves." he nodded and followed Nadia out the door. Nathan then looked at the other man who was in a suit. "Any idea who she was?" he asked. "None sir." "Then find out!" [Time: 3 years ago, Location: Cyber-Ware Industries, Nathan Han-Tao's office.] The door to Nathan's office burst open and a woman walked in. "What's the meaning of this!?" The woman walked over and slammed down two items, a badge and sheet of paper. "That's a warrant to search this place." "On what grounds!?" "Industrial Espionage, Murder, Kidnapping, need I go on?" As she finished a few more officers walked into the room. "Sgt. Young, take a look at this." one of them said. Nadia turned and looked at the laptop the man held. It displayed Cyber-Ware's bank account, spending, and current balance. "What's this 'Training program'? You spent a lot of money on it." "I'm calling my lawyer."

Personality: Nadia remembers little of when she was young but what she does know has her determined to learn the rest, and is the reason she joined the KPD and worked her way up it's ranks so quickly. [Time: 3 months ago, Location: Khazan harbor] Nadia looked across the foggy docks at the warehouse. It had started three years ago after the raid on Cyber-Ware's headquarters, and the deaths that had followed. Something told her that Wolf Bane was her brother. She couldn't explain it but it was there. She could remember more of her past, and of the sword fighting lessons he'd had as well as her Martial arts training. She knew it was him. And she knew that if she couldn't get him back she'd have to stop him. She leaned over the roof edge watching and waiting for him. Suddenly a gun shot rang out and something slammed into her back. She turned to look and saw a group of thugs holding guns and smiling.

The Young Style

"Don't you know it's not nice to shoot someone in the back?" she said taking a fighting stance. The thugs laughed and one stepped foreword taking a fighting stance as well. They circled each other for a few seconds before he lunged at her. She dodged to the side and kicked him in the head. He stumbled back a few steps but regained his balance. They began to circle each other again. This time she attacked slamming the heel of her foot across his chin with a roundhouse. There was a resounding crack as foot and face connected and the large man fell to the ground.

Remembered Training

She turned and ran through the remaining thugs toward the stairwell. When she reached it she ran up the door, pushed off from the top, and flew back at the thugs kicking to of them and knocking them out before landing. Another large man came running at her. He swung his massive fist at her missing as she moved to the side. Quickly she reached out, grabbed his arm and flung him off the roof top. The others had fled down the stairs. She walked over to the edge of the building and looked down as they ran out. As she saw them running she glimpsed someone going into the warehouse across the way, her brother. She jumped down off the roof landing in front of the thugs.

She turned to look at them her hair flowing upward in a sudden draft of warm air. The six thugs in the group quickly drew their weapons. Nadia heard it behind, just barely. Gun fire. It was from the warehouse her brother was in, and he didn't have a gun. She glanced at the warehouse and saw bright flashes of light. "No time for you!" she yelled as fire engulfed the area. As the flames died she saw a few of the thugs laying dead, the others had jumped into the water. She turned and started running toward the other warehouse. Halfway there she stopped as she saw her brother come out of the warehouse. She pulled her coat tight across her as the chill night wind blew and smiled.

Closed Mind

It had started with the fight against Tundra. The battle with him had caused her to lose track of her brother. Needless to say she wasn't very happy. Then came the other guy. She never caught his name, just that he worked for someone he called 'the Shaded Man'. He kept going on about helping her. She wasn't sure exactly what he had said though. It didn't really matter to her, he offered nothing of interest and the more he talked the farther away her brother got. People never seemed to learn, even the other KPD officers. She did things her way, and she worked alone.
