Section 1

You find yourself lost on an island. Again. The island looks vaguely jungly to you. You are familiar with the sort. Tall trees sway mildly, and a chattering monkey squeaks and yells without ceasing at you. The sound annoys you. What do you do?

If you go slug the monkey, go to Section 2. If you go find shelter, go to Section 3. If you resort to eating yourself, go to Section 4.

Section 2

You assault the monkey, and it squeals in pain, yelping for help. Go back to whatever you were doing beforehand and pick something from that list.

Section 3

You've found yourself on another damned island that you have to escape from. This is getting old. You decide to find some shelter in a cave. Proceed to Section 5.

Section 4

You begin to eat yourself in order to survive. You taste strangely delicious. However, you end up with one arm and no legs in a matter of days. You try to figure out a way to cut off and cut your arm using only it, but cannot. You eventually die of starvation.

If you want to, you can just cheat and go to a different section. I don't mind. I mean, what's a game without cheating? Hard, that's what.

Personality: Section 5

As often happens when you are stranded on a desert island, you begin to talk to yourself. You begin to form a deep relationship with yourself. Decide what you discover about yourself and then proceed to Section 6.

Section 6

You glance at your inventory silently, trying to determine the best course of action. You notice that you have a wide variety of simple implements, but nothing that will actually serve useful. Or, if something turns out to be useful, a bird will come steal it and you'll have to use your mind and wit to recapture it.

Oh damn. Here comes a bird. There goes your one useful tool!

If you throw some stuff at the bird, go to this section a few times until you get the clue. If you decide to just live with it, go to Section 7. If you go track down the bird using your knowledge of the climate, go to Section 8.

Ignore Every Thought

Section 7

You choose to do nothing at all. You silently sit there, catatonic, ignoring all needs and wants. Nothing can pierce your mind. This is perhaps your greatest ability, and it has served you well in the past.

You get bored and decide to stop. What do you do instead?

If you want to look around, go to Section 9. If you want to find some puzzles to solve, go to Section 10. If you want to beat up that monkey some more, go to Section 2

Too Many Jungle-y Islands

Section 8

You hunt down the bird. Fortunately, since you've been stranded on so many jungle-y islands (and have, in fact, seen them referred to as "jungle-y" several times), you know how to get around. You hunt down the bird and grab your single useful item.

Now that you have that item, what do you do?

If you choose to do nothing, go to Section 7. If you choose to look around, go to section 9. If you choose to solve some puzzles, go to Section 10.

Look Around

Section 9

Your well tuned sense of sight observes everything around you. You notice a squealing monkey. You notice the bird that stole your one useful item. You notice lots and lots of trees. You also notice that you're getting bored.

What do you do?

If you sit there catatonically, go to Section 7. If you choose to solve some puzzles, go to Section 10.

Puzzle Solving

  • Power: Detective
  • Level:Supreme
  • Kit Power Link: Empathy
Section 10

You do your thing. You put the key in the slot. You take the item to the other item. You salt the bear and tie it to the stick. You feed the lobsters. You use a large bamboo stick. Every damned puzzle in the whole book. You know them well.

You've escaped the island. Yes, I know, worst CYOA ever.
