It was a night like any other on this shrouded world you people call Khazan, it was dark and raining and downright miserable. I was in Lowtown, what was I to expect? This world is not my home. My home is earth, not the earth most of you apparently know either... but that's a longer story than I'm getting ready to tell anyway. So, let's just say it's a secret and be done with it. Or let's not. There's something about secrets that likes to make the people keeping them not good people. Know what I say about secrets? "Three can keep a secret if two are dead." Crock. Of. Sh*t! Not much more that irks me than a world that blinds itself to the truth. A world, now. Not just people. Humans tend to have their own mental defense mechanisms that cause them to forget things that shouldn't be, either that or they'd go all mad. Sometimes their defense mechanisms don't help and they go mad anyway. That's just life. Death on the other hand is a whole other kettle of fish. Raw decaying nasty fish. The kind that'll bite your hand off if you look twice. That's why I'm here in the first place. Not just Lowtown. Although it's one of them that I'm after at the moment. Single isolated target, apparently has ties to some other group the NM are after. Only thing they told me was she's undead. Only thing they needed to tell me, really. Stuck on this planet with nowhere to go I might as well make myself useful. So here I am, making myself useful. In Lowtown. In the rain. Doing the NM's busywork. I could be worse places, not many, but there are a few. All I do is wait... and think.

Personality: There are three types of people in this world as far as I am concerned. Those who Know me. Those who Don't. Those who Don't give a Flying F*ck. Those who don't give a damn have more than likely never met me and never will, thus have no concern as to what exactly I do or how I do it, I like these people. Those who just don't know me have seen me work and have some idea as to what I may be like but usualy Just Don't Get It. These people have varied thoughts as to my nature, including various theories on my powers and abilities. These are the ones that call me things like "The Strong Silent Type" or "That [Other] Guy Who Kills Stuff." Right off the back, I'll be the first to tell you I am not strong. Not personally anyway. Sure, the Mask or even the Darkhorse are strong, but me? No. I'm frail, I'm weak, I am not fit for physical labor. That's why I've got the Fist and the Crown. I don't like the people who Stereotype me... almost as much as I don't like the people who know the real me. These people know I like to think ahead, that's why I don't talk much. They know that while I may look formidable, unless I'm in one of my Crowned forms, I'm just a old geek with powers. They know that if I'm after a Quarry nothing will stop me. Sure, I protect the Living but if they get in the way it's not my fault as to what happens to them. We all die some time, best I kill you myself and make sure you stay dead.

Think > Act

You know, the NM is right. For too long we've let them walk our streets and lived in our neighborhoods and worked in our buildings and we've never done anything. I can say this because this was the problem on my world, for too long they let the undead 'live among them' without doing anything about it. So they became rooted into society. Then they took control. Then it wasn't our world anymore, it was theirs. Then we had to learn to think, those of us who would stand against them. We couldn't just rush in and kill them where they stood anymore, there were too many of them and too few of us and they were far too powerful. So we had to bide our time and think, and plan, and strike accurately and without flaw. I was a thinker. That's what I do and that's what I'll always do. So, while I wait... I think.

Dual Sight

"So are you the one looking to join us?" She said, catching me mid-thought. She stood just outside of the light that glowed from above me. She had an umbrella while I stood under the street lamp without anything other than my coat. I nodded. I could tell she was my target just by looking at her. Her aura was dark and molted,. little ringlets of black pulsing on her soul. Vampire. B*tch. I looked around while my 'Night Vision' was still on, so to speak. The buildings didn't look much different in the underworld here, but that was kind of to be expected. "I think we should come out of the rain." She said, gesturing me to follow her. "What? Don't you like running water?" Was my only reply...

Kings Crown

I had already put on the Mask form before she'd even turned around, drawing a sword from the inside of the umbrella. Apparently she hadn't been expecting a nine foot Saurian-demon to be looming over her. I swung my left arm at her haphazardly, not expecting to connect as she lept and did a somersault away from me. I mockingly lumbered towards her and roared, then I let loose with my right claw, catching her sword-arm as she attempted to slash me with a riposte. The blow knocked her to the ground and I made a half-effort to step on her, missing of course and leaving a five-foot' round indentation in the asphalt. She was fast, but not quite fast enough. As she rolled through my legs I roared again and spun around, again catching her sword-arm and sending her reeling into a wall. Fun and games are over. Gauging done.... Then she threw her sword at me.

Justicars Cloak

Like a lance it streaked between the distance of where she stood and my head. I had seconds. Maybe less. That's all I needed. In the blink of an eye my form twisted and shrank, taking the form of the Darkhorse. The sword shot overhead and imbedded itself into the far wall of an adjacent building, she glared at me and I glared back, releasing a low growl. She ran. Following was easy enough as she smelt like blood, what with her mangled arm and all. I bounded after her and within seconds caught up. Quarry found. Hunt over.

Mage's Fist

  • Level:Supreme
  • Seeker This attack hunts and follows its target.
  • Ranged and Melee Attack! Attack is equally effective at range and up close.
My claws glowed brightly, wreathed in blue-white flame. Rain hissed into steam before it even came close to the auras around my hands. I raced after the fleeing vampire and roared victory as I swung. Light arced from my hand to her back and she screamed the most satisfying scream. The scream of the dead becoming dead. The scream of true death. The scream of the cycle. For the millisecond that it took for her body to burst into flame and her skeleton to crumble to ash all was right with the world. All was right until I realized that she was only one. One of many that still walked among the living. Only one that acted-in-mockery-of-living on this world. Only one and one that was not from my world, my earth. Until I can say that this world is no longer infested or until I can freely go back home I will be unsatisfied. Until that time comes, the Fist remains in the service of the New Management. Until that time comes, Rage Dark-Horse shall walk the streets in search of those who break the cycle.

Wanderer'

  • Power: Teleportation
  • Level:Supreme
  • Weakness: Not usable in terrain Misty Vale
The Echoes of her scream surrounded me in one of the most surreal aspects of the word I have ever come to encounter, for as the sound reverberated off of the buildings it seemed to grow stronger. Instead of being dampened by the pouring rain the precipitation appeared to be crystallizing it to a perfect pitch, then I realized that it wasn't a scream anymore but a cackle. A laugh. One that I wasn't hearing on this side of the veil either. I sighed, it was never simple with the undead. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the laugh, I had to pinpoint it exactly so as to locate her before she could escape... again. The world around me wilted, crumbled, and outright appeared to die. I didn't see it, I just knew what was happening, I had stepped between the worlds hundreds of thousands of times before, It was nothing new here. I felt myself move without moving and then stop. I opened my eyes and there she stood, all fangs and leather. Arrogance and Corruption. I kicked her to the ground with the barest of effort, she looked up surprised. She tried to blink herself away. Again I felt myself move without moving and the scenery shifted to a rooftop. Yet there I was and yet there she was, staring at me in surprise. "You blood suckers are all the same, you know that right? I've seen all of your tricks before, nothing new to me. Now, if you don't mind I have business to attend to." This time she screamed for real, and this time I scattered her true ashes to the wind.
