Thandrin

For aeons untold, all races have been enthralled by stories. Recollections of things that were, things that are, things that did not even happen. Mortal and immortal alike weave their own tales, spinning fantasy and sharing an adventure, memorializing a certain event. ~For as long as there has been a story, there has been a person to tell it. That is where I come in. We Storytellers have existed throughout the ages, recalling the deeds and tales of those long forgotten. We each roam the universe, searching for that tale, that one great epic tale to retell. While some of us merely watch as the tales unfold, others choose to make our own.~I am a part of the latter, I make my way across existance creating story after story, weaving my own legacy. My journeys have led me to a great deal of places, from the planet of Secret, to Aldorn. It was only natural that I should one day happen across Khazan, nexus of the Multiverse.~Khazan is an epic in itself, so much tragedy, drama, humor, angst and romance lies here. Then I came across the greatest of all plot devices; The Void. Just as a fairy tale will amaze a child, so was I amazed at The Void. So many stories waiting to be woven from its agents and the strife it causes. So many battles fought around it, it would be foolish to pass something like this up.~The Fallen, under the leadership of Quietus could not refuse my services. I desired to weave their stories, they sought to use my power to their ends, it was a mutual benefit. ~I cannot say I am truly thrilled with some of the things that I am required to do. In fact I outright despise somethings like causing the innocent harm. However, the story must unfold whether my own hand is involved or not.

What can I say about myself? My true self no longer exists, buried under centuries of storytelling. I live for the story, and nothing more. I guess you could say that to create one is all I am. No. Not only to make a story but to tell it over and over, surviving the tales, no through mundane means such as paper or files, but through myself. ~It is the core of my being to let the stories live through me, to se others enjoy them, and to inspire them to make more worthy tales. While I have no taste for destruction, war, or strife it is a necessity for great things to happen, for better or for worse. And while I may enforce some of the edicts of my groups, it does not mean I have to ensure that we win the war.

What is the Inspiration

     Telepathy: Superior

Inspiration, no good story comes into being without it. No plot can be forced without that wonderful plan, thought out or spontaneous. If the situation should arise, I look into minds, searching for that inspiration to create a fine tale. I look for a driving force behind the actions, I desire the perfect stimuli, that push to weave a breathtaking adventure or heartbreaking romance.~My intrusions are formidable, non stop until I have been satisfied. I see in thy mind that which may never see the light of day. I hear in your thoughts the feelings that will never fall upon open ears. I detect that which is required to shape the tale, and so I thank you for your mind. For in your thoughts, I find the right inspiration.

Muse of the Mind

     Psychic Vampire: Superior

When I see in your mind that which is truly great, I will 'borrow' it. I shall have the inspiration to fuel my muse. Your thoughts will become my thoughts and they shall not die. ~When you have become a part of my muse, you shall become a part of my story. I will use your strength to give my stories, the images power.

My Stories

     Illusion Creation: Superior

  • Area Affect

Regardless if I use your strength, you will see my stories. Your ears and eyes fuel its power, taken from my muse. I can show you the wonders of a grand adventure, or the tragic tale of two star-crossed lovers. For many centuries I have collected tales from every inch of the multiverse. Those stories are my purpose, their survival is my life, their wonders are my weapons.~Beguiling and great, I can entrap you within the very tale I weave before you. For days on end could you be trapped within them, not knowing if you are truly there or not. But a warning, break out of my beloved stories and you shall suffer from your fears.

That which becomes real

     Matter Animation: Supreme

Even the greatest of all bards pale in comparison to a Storyteller. Our words and power make the tales we say breath with a life of its own. ~What is your greatest fear? I could show it to you, plucked from the very tales I weave, told to me by your own treacherous mind. Those who would dare to break my tales shall suffer, hunted by those they attempted to rebuked. It is not an illusion, no longer, it breathes and walks as if it were alive all along. Run mortal, against my epics you stand not a chance.

The force behind the Tales

     Eldrich Blast: Standard

I cannot remember how many times I have been forced into combat. Traversing all of Creation has led to my fair share of scuffle and no small amount of scars. Through these times I have devised a weapon to aid my journey.~A small beam of pure creative energy pulsed from my fingertips, drawn from the depths of my mind. A last resort if you will, a form of final defense I hope to not use frequently. Ever do I keep it ready, poised for a quick strike to my enemy.

You are mine

     Mind Control: Standard

In my stories, you are but a small player in a grand scheme of things. I will dilute your ability to think clearly, ever susceptible to my epics. Your mind will wear and succumb to my grand tales, and shall become my property.~While you are in my presence you shall be subjected to my murcy, crushed under the multitudes of influences. Watch as your mind becomes weaker, drawn out until you are no more than a shell of your former self after meeting me. Mortal you have been warned, while I can do only a little to influence your thoughts in this form, my collective powers will leave you incoherent.
