Two stars exploded, their released energies colliding and propelled across the universe. ~Fred Bulman was out mowing his lawn one day when he has hit by a blast of energy. Luckily, it didn't kill him. The beam of light falling from the sky attracted astronomers and scientists. They ran many tests on him, one of which was to determine if he was radioactive. Luckily, he wasn't radioactive. The scientists and others were intrigued by this and offered him a lifelong pension if he would come in for tests from time to time. They set up a trust for this purpose. Fred was abducted by Khazan not long after. Luckily for him, the funds transfered over and Fred was well provided for in uptown Khazan. They insisted that he take on a persona of either a superhero or a supervillian. Fred was worried about his job back on Earth and was reluctant to start life anew on Khazan. He reassured, however, when hearing that his employer had paid him all his sick leave while Fred was hospitalized and had given him a very generous severance pay. Luckily, this meant that his failure to show up to work would not be a cause of concern. Also, luckily, Khazan offered him a stipend to help him resettle in Khazan. He missed his former belongings on Earth, but heard that the house was condemned due to possible radiation poisoning. Luckily, he was very generously compensated for his house and it's contents by scientists who ran tests there. Luckily, he was able to find a lavish place recently occupied by a supervillian, which went for cheap because the supervillian had rigged the place with traps and other security measures. Luckily, most of the traps either misfired or failed to harm him. Upon securing a residence, he was required to register himself and his residence and declare himself either a superhero or villian. Luckily, they provided him with a luxurious car out of the government fleet, which they were replacing with stronger vehicles due to attacks by discontented citizens. He, luckily, was, was able to drive to the Khazan government offices without any mishap. Upon arriving, he was set upon by an assassin who thought he was a government employee. Luckily, the assassin wasn't fully prepared, since Fred had arrived sooner than he thought he would. Luckily, the assassin missed all his shots, whereupon Fred rushed him and grabbed him by the head. The assassin tried to stab him, but went unconscious before he could do so. Luckily, the blade missed Fred. Security rushed out then, and grabbed the unconscious assassin. Luckily, Fred wasn't punished for operating as a superhero without a license as it was plain that he wasn't at fault. Luckily, he was given a huge reward for aiding in the capture of a supervillian who was attacking government employees. His registration fee was waived, whereupon he registered as "Avantius, Avatar of Luck". Luckily, Fred, now Avantius, was paid damages by the government for endangering his life by giving him a government vehicle without alerting him to possible attacks by discontents. He was awarded a large amount of money and his car was repainted for free, with free upgrades thrown in to sweeten the deal.

"Fred Bulman, please designate superhero or supervillian."~"Superhero, of course. I'm no villian."~"Supervillian, processing."~"Superhero, you confounded machine!", he says banging his fist on the console.~"Warning, your attack has activated the security system. Evacuate quickly, or be destroyed."~"What in the blazes! I demand to speak to a manager!"~Beep! Beep! A huge robot comes forward, aiming at Fred.~"Yes, sir. I am Magnus. How may I help you?" A man says, striding from a doorway. The robot opens fire, hitting Magnus. Overhead, a shrill sound is heard and "Warning! Personnel under attack by security systems. Resetting parameters." A cannon lower from the ceilings, fires, and hits the robots which disintegrates into thousands of pieces. Luckily, these all missed Fred. The cannon retracts into the ceiling, and personnel rush in, armed. They quickly discover what has happened. They dispatch Magnus to a hospital, clean up the mess left by the now destroyed robot. They manually enter Fred's information into the system and generously compensate him for his time. They pay massive damages for endangering his life. Avantius objects severely to the danger of living in this place and they raise his stipend to compensate.

Lucky is as lucky does

     Lucky: Ultimate

Whatever that blast of energy did to Fred, it seems to have been so powerful that it changed reality around it. As a Khazan government remarked, "It may be lucky for him, but it's hell for the rest of us who have to deal with it." Fred, now Avantius, is allright with it, now being richer than ever, becoming even richer when bringing suit because the now former employee publicly released private information regarding himself.

Brain Drain

     Psychic Vampire: Ultimate

  • Auto-Hit Attack

Fred/Avantius' reality warping powers are fueled by mental energy. Upon coming in contact with intelligent beings, Avantius can drain their mental energy or powers. Any sentience works for draining mental energy, but obviously, intelligent life works the best due to have the most available to drain. Luckily, this part of Avantius' powers was not revealed publicly and he is still able to date Khazan women without them fearing he'll drain their mental energies.

Car

     Vehicle: Standard

When becoming a suave debonair such as Avantius, it's necessary to have a car. When driving around in his top of the line car, Avantius is able to pick up women, make social commitments, and arrive at social events. He has been lucky with the Khazan women, which all take to him and are good company. He has dated a few superheroes, which does attract attention of supervillians. Luckily, Avantius' car has not been in any major mishap and has never been damaged since it was refurbished for his purposes.
