On a Gathering Storm
Weather Control: Standard
He stepped over the threshold as he departed from his latest agreement. All was going well with The Plan. The mortal leader would get the reasons he needed to bring his country into the war savaging the planet's 'old world'. Excellent. The first rains began to fall and the Elder Spirit frowned. He would need to depart soon.. this Plane was already reacting to his presence, much longer and he would draw attention, especially in this area.. and that might cause interference with The Plan.

The Elder Spirit glared at the American sitting across from him. This arrogant, blithering little worm! He had agreed to the Bargain and now he dared ask him to bail him out because of his own mistakes. Calm.. this doesn't endanger The Plan.. he's just an annoyance. A sadistic thought came.. and another deal was struck. When the two shook hands the human never noticed the tiny fragment of shadow which moved into his ear and ghosted into the recesses of his skull. Fine, if he wanted to make sure he wasn't strung up by his own countrymen he'd give the mortal a near foolproof out.
He Ain't What he Seems

He quietly slipped away from the mustachioed Iraqi as he heard him shout for his guards. The fool's deal had finally come back to haunt him and now he thought he could skip out on it. He felt like laughing at how ridiculous it was. It was amazing how easily these mortals were taken in by what their eyes showed them. The guards themselves were most puzzled when they caught up to the place where their quarry should have been. However they couldn't find anything no matter how hard they searched. They had already departed when the shadows moved.
He'll Appear Out of Nowhere
Teleportation: Standard
The darkness writhed, then disgorged it's contents. The Man In Black stepped free of the primal darkness that had tranported him. His powers were weakened by this particular Nexus so he could only go so far at present.. but he would acclimate soon enough, and the distance he could currently manage would do for now. He took a look up at the sun and smiled. Almost time for his next meeting.
Resistance: Empathy
Resistances: Standard
He smiled as the deal went through, and felt the subtle probings at his psyche. It wasn't the first time someone had tried that.. and it wouldn't be the last. However his mind was far enough beyond these mortals they'd have a tough time reading it no matter their experience.
Resistance: Avatar

He found this situation rather amusing. The mortal before him was busy staring at their hand in shock.. and only Styphon knew why. His power had been adapting to Khazan since he arrived.. countering the natural weakness the Nexus forced upon him. However slowly but surely his abilties were returning. Now this mortal had found out about one more when he suddenly found that his god had pulled his support rather than risk his powers being caught up in one of the Elder Spirit's deals. The dark entity smiled. 'Surprise.'
