Miss Clarice Kardec, daughter of Alderman Peter Kardec, was given the benefit of everything her father's position had to offer. She had spent the majority of life in the public eye and as was adored by many. Even so, living in such a pristine world left Clarice feeling more than just a little bored. She began playing a series of 'games' at her private school, finding she could manipulate her classmates into fighting each other, or breaking off a relationship. By planting an idea in a fellow student's mind, she then sat back and watched the drama and confusion unfold.

But it wasn't until one of her games backfired that Clarice's true power was revealed. Upon discovering that Clarice had spread a rumor that she had had an affair with one of the teachers, one Michelle Blake confronted Clarice in the school's library. Clarice brushed off Michelle, and as she was walking away Michelle threw her textbook at her in a rage. Clarice spun around, saw the book, and then the book froze in mid-air, inches from her face.

According to eyewitness accounts, the book hung in the air for a few seconds, and then began to spin around Clarice. Clarice did not seem to notice it, as she was too bust screaming at Miss Blake. The more angry Miss Kardic grew, books flew off the shelves, and chairs rose into the air. They all surrounded Miss Kardic and spun around her faster and faster, and Miss Kardic seemed to rise in the air. Finally, with a primal scream from Miss Kardic, all the objects around her shot out from her, smashing through walls, ceilings and injuring all those present in the library.

Following observation, we are unsure as to the source of Miss Kardic's power. At the time of this report, it appears that she is only able to manipulate non-living matter. She has also grown capable of focusing all her objects on a single target with devastating effect. The acceleration of the objects adds to their striking power as well as her limited flight.

We are unsure of her whereabouts at this time, but the police have had numerous calls from citizens seeing a woman of Miss Kardic's description causing chaos in the streets and referring to herself as 'Poltergeist'. For the sake of Miss Kardic and our city, I hope we can save her before it's too late.

Supervising Agent Trevor Wells, B.A.U.

Miss Kardic is a 19 year old woman from a privileged lifestyle. She has been used to getting her way her whole life and is not going to respond well when provoked. She is manipulative; before it was just for her amusement, but now she believes it makes her the smartest person in whatever room she walks into.

She uses her powers in order to gain attention for herself. After living under her father's rules and shadow her whole life, she is focused on people seeing her as more than a politician's daughter. As such, she has no qualms for using her power to lethal effect if it means keeping her name on everyone's lips.

Eye of the Storm

     Telekinesis: superior (rank 2)

  • Ranged Attack
  • Area Affect
  • Multi-Attack
  • Target Seeker

On command, Clarice's mind latches on to any non-living object in a 12 foot radius. The telekinesis then draws the objects within 3 feet of Clarice, surrounding her and rotating around her body at increasing speeds. At Clarice's mental command, the debris 'explodes' from her body, either at a focused target or in all directions. It is possible that with time, Clarice's range will increase, as well as her ability to bring living organisms into her orbit.

Need a Lift?

     Flight: standard (rank 1)

As the objects accelerate around Clarice, they have the similar effect of a helicopter. The acceleration creates lift, which causes flight. At a over three feet, the objects will begin to rotate vertically around Clarice as well as horizontally increasing lift as well propulsion.

Bullet Catch

     Mental Defense: superior (rank 2)

This is the subconscious defense of Clarice's power. If Clarice's subconscious detects an object coming at her with enough momentum to injure her, her power kicks in, stopping the object within 3 feet of Clarice. Clarice could then let the object go, or begin to accelerate it around her.
