The woman woke up in an unfamiliar room. Pieces of high-tech looking machinery were laying all round. A man in a white lab coat approached to her.

"Wuh...wha..." said the woman

"Do you remember anything? Do you remember your name?" said the man

"My name?" said the woman

"Do you remember your name?" said the man

"My name...

...

...my name is Alice.

And I remember everything."

"Good. The procedure is a sucess." said the man

"Where am I? Who are you?" said Alice

"Of course, this isn't a cartoon. Memory just doesn't instantly come back altogether. Let me help you with that: you are a highly-condecorated police officer in the New York City Police Department. You were dealing with a hostage situation in a high-rise building when the leader of the international terrorists that were holding the building hostage, Susan Teigh, shot you in the stomach. The terrorists escaped, and you arrived at the hospital in critical condition." said the man

"And what happened next?" said Alice

"Your spines, stomach, instestines and liver were shattered, but you survived. Before you fell into a coma, you volunteered for a dangerous experimental procedure that would save your life. As I said before, and as you've come to realize, the procedure is a sucess." said the man

"What procedure is that? And who are you?" said Alice.

"I am Dr. Simon Hayden. Long ago, I found the mothballed 70s bionic technology developed by Oscar Goldman. I combined that technology with modern-day technology. Thus, I've replaced your spine, half of the muscles in your body and your optic nerves with bionic parts."

"WHAT?" said Alice in shock

"I know that this may seem shocking, but there's I reason why you were chosen for this. You have a strong moral code, a strong sense of justice, of right and wrong. All you career, you were driven by a deep, passionate desire to protect the innocent. You wanted to avert every crisis you could, stop any crime being commited, protect the city from every murderer, rapist and thief. Now, you have your chance. You can fullfill your dream, and protect the city, but not as a mere police officer. Now, you are the ultimate force of justice, the most powerful weapon the law has on its side." said Dr. Hayden

Alice let of this sink in for a moment, and then spoke:

"You are right. I always wanted to protect every man, woman and children I saw. That's why I joined the police force. I always wanted to make a difference, to protect my city from those who harm it. I can do more good now that I ever could when I was on the force. Besides, you did save my life, and you did it with the best of intentions, and for that I'm thankful. I accept my destiny."

"Very well. In that case, we will begin your training now. You need to master your new bionic powers, and learn to control them, before you can go out and use them to defend the innocent." said Dr. Hayden

From that day on, Alice's life weas changed forever.

As stated in the background, there is one thing that drives Alice McGee:

her strong sense of justice.

Corruption and impunity disgust her. Growing up in Hell's Kitchen, she developed a strong desire to protect the innocent and uphold the law. She has a strong koral compass and a very defined sense of right and wrong. For her, there are only civilians, and those who break the law. In her life, she saw too many murders, rapes and muggins, which is why she swore to put a stop to them.

This, unfrtunately, made her reckless back when she was in the police force, as she would often rush to stop a crime without thinking of the consequences.

Super Stength

"First on the list is your bionic strength." said Dr. Hayden

"Bionic strength?" said Alice

"Your bionic parts give you superior strength. Go ahead and try." said Dr. Hayden

Alice walked to the wall made of steel in front of her, and punched it. The wall was crumpled annd mangled beyond recognition.

Alice saw a steel bar lying around. She grabbed it, and lifted in with one hand.

Dr. Hayden pushed a button, and a huge wooden ram was launched from across the room. Alice punched the ram in mid-air, and the ram shattered into splinters.

Bionic Speed

     Super Speed: standard (rank 1)

"Next, your bionic parts give you superior speed, which is what we are testing now." said Dr. Hayden

Alice stepped in front of the treadmill in front of her.

"Why is the distance measured in kilometers?" said Alice

"Because I'm Scottish. I use the metric system." said Dr. Hayden

"OK." said Alice and started running

The speed in the meter went from 10 KM, to 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, and after a while, it reached 200 KM PH.

Laser Eyes

     Eldritch Energy: standard (rank 1)

"Next, you have laser eyes." said Dr. Hayden

"Really, I can shoot lasers from my eyes?" said Alice

"Yes. Go ahead, try it." said Dr. Hayden

Alice turned around and stared at one of the walls intensely.

Sure eyes, laser beam shot out of her eyes, burning the metal wall like it was butter.

Invulerability

"For one last test, your bionic parts make you impervious to harm, which is what w are trying out now." said Dr. Hayden while standing next to a console.

Dr. Hayden pushed a button, and two machine guns popped from the ceiling and started shooting at Alice. The bullets ricocheted off Alice's body harmlessly.

Dr. Hayden pushed another button, and a laser shot from the ceiling. The laser also bounced off Alice's body without harming her.

Finally, Dr. Hayden pushed another button, and flames shot from the walls. However, Alice just stood there without getting hurt.

"Excellent. You have sucessfully passed all of the tests." said Dr. Hayden

Avatarium Blade

     Slashing Weapon: standard (rank 1)

"When I woke up, this thing was laying next to me. What is it?" said Alice while holding a strange-looking bladed weapon

"That is the Avatarium Blade." said Dr. Hayden

"Avatarium?" said Alice

"Yes, avatarium is something of my own design. It's a new metal alloy created by fusing together titanium, steel and duranium. Thus, this weapon can cut throught anything, and nothing can break it." said Dr. Hayden

Alice walked up to another steel bar laying around, and struck it with the Avatarium Blade. Sure enough, the metal bar was cut in half.
