Best comedy in ages.

And, yes, the movie was meant to be funny. Like I said in another post, its on par with the likes of Robocop and Starship Troopers.

Just a question, did nobody like the Watchmen movie? I haven't seen it.

Watchmen was decent, but not great. The musical choices sucked, and there was a bit too much "slowdown/speedup" like in 300, but most of the actors did a good job and the opening credits are still the best thing I've see in a movie all year.

I thought that music was a strong point for the most part in a movie.

I liked the songs themselves. Using them and the placement of them, maybe not. You don't throw in "Sound Of Silence" in a funeral scene. I wasn't the biggest fan of Watchmen. Too long for me, and it was shorter than TDK. I still didn't like Punisher: War Zone. It just took the violence to an extreme. I realize that that is what the Punisher does and I have no problem with a ton of violence, but after a while, it just got annoying. By a while, I mean when he punched the guys face off with a butter knife, it died. This coming from the guy who's favorite kill in the Punisher game was punching people's face off.

Maybe I should re-watch it, but I wasn't the biggest fan of it.

Yeah, Warzone was one of the best tongue-in-cheek flicks I've seen, AND they didn't shy away from the over-the-top violence that the comics wallow in. As a Punisher fan, I'd say it was the film Frank deserved.

I don't really like the Dark Knight, or any Batman movie, for that matter. It just doesn't fit with my concept of Batman at his best, that is, the detective.

What?

Everyone knows Batman gets outsmarted by his foes.
Until the climatic end....

1. Hulk(Reboot)

2. The Dark Knight

3. Spider-Man 3

4. X-Men

5. Spider-Man

Of course, I ranked this on my personal enjoyment factor, I'll never argue that SM3 is one of the top 5 comic movies, or that the new Hulk was better than TDK, I just liked 'em that way.

How did you like SM3? I couldn't even watch it for a 2nd time. I tried, but I couldn't so I decided to sleep the whole 8 hour plane ride to Ireland.
