This time, you are a Starfleet captain.

One day, while fighting rogue Romulans, you are tricked into going into a space minefield.

You and your crew survive, but the mines damage the ship pretty badly.

You get three choices for the engineer who gets to fix your starship: Geordi LaForge, Miles O'Brien or B'Elanna Torres.

Who do you choose?

Geordi seem to be the smartest , although Miles is close. Either of them ought to fix the ship up good if it is properly equiped or with access to a good repairbay. B'Elanna however is better at performing miracles with nothing and make the best of what she got.
If the ship is damaged and stranded on an asteroid somewhere then i would choose B'Elanna. If it has power enough to take it close to federation space, then i take Geordi. When he is done it ought to be better than ever. If it is unsure if i can make it back, but we have enough to make an aptempt, then i take Miles. He if both good at repairing and improvising, although not at either good as the other two. He should do well enough no matter the outcome.

So it all depends on where we are and how damaged the ship is.
