Ridiculous Signature Sizes

People's signatures are too big. Simple as that.

What's the maximum size that should be allowed? I'd say Marvel Man's signature

If your signature is "taller" than this one, you'll likely have your signature deleted. No PMs, no warning. Deleted. Y'all have had plenty of warnings about this sort of thing in the past, but it doesn't seem to work. Basically, if your signature is larger than Every Single Post You Make, you're doing something wrong.

I grow tired of how long it takes my computer to load an Electricferret page. Sure, I could solve that problem by buying a better computer, but forcing everyone to get smaller sigs works as well.

Note: If anyone's curious, my Sentry pic is 567x189. Much smaller than it used to be, but definetly big enough to serve its purpose.

Also note that Marvel Man's is the HIGH end of what's acceptable. It shouldn't be what you aim for, it should be what you avoid by being smaller.

Landon that's Bull***t! You could have picked a better way to warn people! You posted this at 1am in the morning and that is not enough warning! Besides it's such a petty way to prove your point! You could have PM or atleast gave people more time!

Is this how things work around here..... Admins delete as they go?

Tarvius told me that he's made numerous requests in the past through PM telling people to make their signatures smaller. People chose to ignore those requests and often made their signatures BIGGER after his requests. Since people have apparently not responded in the past through private messages, it'd be a waste of time to do so again.

I once had a HUGE Signature and a administer PM'ed me about the signature. So i took it down,but i will find a way to make it smaller and people to see it. Just like my signature now.
