They grow up so fast. Faster in her case, I think, but it's true for all children. One minute it's bottles and blankets, the next it's bullets and badinage. Bandages too. It's not like she hasn't earned it. When Allison turned 16, Theta and Mu, two of the retired Black Serpent Supersoldiers who run the combat training wanted to hire her to "break in" recruits. I told them there was no way in hell they were putting my daughter in the arena with untested, uncatalogued metas. Five years on and here I am, doing that very thing every day. It's crazy how time flies, even for someone whose internal organs are 70% clockwork. Nobody will train with the Alphas, but there is only one thing my daughter loves more than combat training and I sent him down to The Clacks to help bend girders. This afternoon it's just the two of us, a tub of Peppermint Moose Tracks, and the arena's emergency staff set on high alert. Happy Birthday, baby girl.

Oh yay, Ivan's back. I wonder if this is just a fourth of July off of work thing.

In terms of a fight, Brainchild is woefully outclasses. Knuckles bruise against an unbeatable armor. Her Detective power isn't going to help out as much in this fight because it's her raging against her mother.
Miss March has decades of tactical experience. I'm sure subduing people is something she's very good at and I bet she's got a paralysis ray in there somewhere.
