1854 - Monstro decides to leave the Mediterranean and see the world. He swims through the straits of Gibralter and somes upon another rogue whale. One thing leads to another and afgter some really offensive whale-song they toss at each other they decide to see who is the biggest, baddest, most ship-crunchingest of all.

Heh, we think a lot alike when it comes to matchups, Dinsdale. :D This is the very reason I added Monstro way back when: to see how he'd fare against Moby Dick.

I'm going to make an official match of this someday, and maybe sooner than later.

I'd have to go with the one that found his way to somehow float through space. Seriously that was one of those WTF moments my first time playing Kingdom Hearts.

For a more fuller answer I'd say Moby might have some chances if only because he's probably been hunted after more. This would mean he'd have had more times where combat situations were necessary to deal with and he'd had to adapt as they happen. Monstro at most did not have that much in combat in the story did he? I can only recall the whole swallowing bit as it were.

What about Jaws?

Heh, both Monstro and Moby are sperm whales. A great white going up against either of them is suicide, even one as ferocious as Jaws, and especially as ferocious as these two particular whales.

Yep! Megalodon vs one of them would be a better match.

This is a match I remember thinking about when I was a kid.
