Maki COULD have a chance if she can get Cap away from his shield. Seeing how she uses her gymnist skills and height (6 ft) as her main uses and capablility of reading the flow of the air near her. Thankfully shes at least peak human durability (seeing how an abandoned school-building collapsing on her didn't kill her or Sakiyama). Ugh, annoying enough nobody seems to post the damn fights but full episodes nobody'll watch I'll have to try and elaborate...

Cap's a soldier, true enough he has more experince than Maki could imagine and has mastered several martial arts, and is above the peak of human durability. Maki on the other hand, tackled with and defeated several more experinced martial artists, defeated a man whose more durable than her (and said man fought and won a fight with BOTH legs and an arm broken), even when he attempted to eh... "marry" her she managed to knock him out with repeated strikes to the groin.

Also, Maki fights several men and women, defeating some with a single or very little kicks and elbow strikes (since shes more proficent in kicking compared to punching). Also, her durability comes into play when she managed to tank a punch that KILLED a bear.

SKILL - Maki was a gymnist, using her gymnastic skills and taller than normal height (standing at 6'0, extremely uncommon for anyone in Japan), she is also more unpredictable, keeping a poker face for most of her matches. Shes also managed to do some unbelievable stunts like run on the side of buildings, jump from a rooftop and manage to slide from the sides without injury, K-Od a skilled fighter with a single attack (shes done this quite a bit actually), and read the flow of the air to help predict an oncoming attack.

EXPERINCE - While not as experinced as Captain America in anything, Maki is used to fighting people more durable and experinced than her in combat, losing only 3-4 times in the anime's run (sadly theres no scans and/or translations of the manga I can find but did read the final volume by luck and even then she managed to fight off spirits of hundreds of skilled combatants).

ADAPTABILITY - Makis also capable of adapting to her opponent depending how they are. Against Sakiyama who thought Maki would be at a disadvantage in closed-in spaces, she managed to work around it by using a spinning kick that'd make Chun-li impressed, held her own against a skilled wrestler who fought in a similar style, managed to defeat Julietta (whose taller, has a longer reach, and physically superior) during their fight by trying to dodge his speedy kicks (said kicks launched a man against a window two stories up and sent a girl across a street and Julietta himself managed to fight with both legs and an arm broken and virtually won that fight). Even when Julietta almost "marryed" Maki, she managed to hit him enough times to knock him out. Even against her strongest enemies: Yuki and Eternal, Maki would adapt to their fighting (surviving blood-loss from Yuki's knife-like nails and adjusting to Eternal's superior durability, strength, and speed)

SPEED - Maki's as quick as a normal person but doesn't tire easily. Also apperent during her fight with a construction worker with superspeed punches (said construction worker busted a hole in a stone wall with ease), his punching speed was clearly that of a jackhammer and Maki dodged every single punch.

[14:27-14:42] - Managing to somehow break from said man's sight (could be the hardhat blocking his sight) [15:26-15:55] - For dodging each punch

BLOODLUST - As seen with one of her rematches against Sakiyama, Maki seems to be an adrenaline junkie in fights, often enjoying the battle. This in turn had an effect when she almost killed Sakiyama by smashing her against a fence repeatidly.

DETERMINATION - Yes. When Maki is determined, she refuses to back down. When searching for Mina who was kidnapped by a group of men from Hokkaido, she traveled as fast as she could to find her, managed to stand up to Yuki despite being cut on the neck, stabbed just below the ribs, sliced on her face and even headbutted repeatedly, even during her fight with Eternal, when she was battered up, she continued fighting even with her injuries, even making an impressive kiei to shake some of the halls of the abandoned school.

DURABILITY - One of Maki's main factors that contributes to her determination. Maki survived being slammed from several feet in the air, survived a drop from several feet, (at least by 3-4 stories), survived a punch that killed a full grown bear and survived having an entire abandoned school collapse on top of her AFTER a long fight where she was barely even able to move.

http://youtu.be/ER48ifNDM3Y [7:08-7:24 for fall] [18:53-19:45 for tanking a punch that killed a bear, surviving a drop HEADFIRST onto pavement, and still able to get up]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4majtbgytMo [I'd recommand the whole episode since its a good skill of durability and Maki attempts to adjust to a superior enemy]

WEAKNESSES - Maki can be humerously airheaded. However, she can be distracted in certain ways not easily found (for instance when Nagato mentioned his love for Kinichi, the mind screw disturbed Maki enough to leave her open for an attack).

Overall, Captain America could still have a better chance of victory, but Maki would still prove a decent challenge. Hell, she COULD be able to win IMO.

Good job giving us info on Maki. Even with all that Cap is the guy that doesn't quick. Were she to tag him even score some falls, Cap will just get right back up and come at her again. She'll tire. He won't.
