Okay, Scott Bernard is my character so I drafted him with the vision of him having his Cyclone rather than his Veritech fighter. However against Forge, I'm not sure it would matter so much. Forge could built something to compete with Robotch mecha. But the  question is would Forge have time to build something in the middle of a fight? Unless he has some super gear on him right off the bat, Scott's going to blow him away.

Here's a video of Scott fighting some Invid. I don't know why I can never find a video in English.

Would he be using the VR-038 the -041 or the -057 model of armour?

Scott wears a specific one of those but I don't remember which one it is. I don't have my Robotech roleplaying game book around but I know that one is standard which is what Scott rides/wears,

one is desigend for women (Rook's)

and one is for closer combat (Lancer's)

Scott's has some high powered rifle, missles on the arms and in the shoulders, jump boosters, I think that's it.

Then it must be the VR-057 one then, and yeah, he should take it unless Forge has some obscure Super Form from a oneshot or something, or has Preptime with materials.
