I'm watching this and the Avengers one episode each per night and assessing the powers of the characters.
Justice League (animated series)

It's difficult to measure Superman's powers in this because there isn't any data on the alien machines. They are some of the most powerful weapons to appear in the series. The section of building that pins Superman is about 10' thick by 24' across by 30' long. That gives is a volume of about 7200 ft^3 and a weight of about 584 tons, which he lifts with little apparent difficulty.
Superman punches the security door holding J'onn J'onzz 3 times that we see and at least once that we don't. The blows severely deform the door but do not pierce it. The door is about 10' * 10' and 3' thick. It would weigh just under 74 tons. According to the math at this website http://physics.stack...-of-armor-plate it would take 12.9 megaJoules of energy to punch a fist-sized projectile all the way through. Since Superman's punches don't penetrate, we can conclude that he is punching with less energy, maybe about 10 MJ.
Senator J. Allen Carter (the lead astronaut) has a name that is an allusion to John Carter from the Mars stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs. The alien tripod war-machines and heat rays are an allusion to H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds.

Superman tosses what appears to be a main battle tank. If this is an Abrams M-1, then that's 67.6 tons.
The alien weapons can momentarily stun Superman, but Wonder Woman's bracelets deflect their blasts without any affect to her. Green Lantern's force shields are also able to deflect this level of energy.
General Wells is an allusion to writer H.G. Wells.

No significant new information observed. Cool episode though.

The Manhunters stun J'onn with what looks like an electrical discharge from the baton/staff. They hit Hawkgirl with a similar discharge and she recovers quickly. This is surprising considering that J'onn is hundreds of times stronger and more durable. I'd expect anything that could stun him to vaporive her. did the Nth metal in her mace or something in her costume save her?
A Manhunter clotheslines Flash with his staff before Flash can strike a blow. The Manhunter doesn't show any obvious super speed. (Poor Flash gets beat up a lot more than he ought to in this series.)
Superman gets hit with a couple of bolts but weathers them much better than J'onn did. Where they knocked J'onn down and stunned him these just sting Superman and push him back. His level of invulnerability is quite a bit better, at least for this type of attack. A shot from behind stuns him, so maybe he needs to be ready.
John Stewart sets up a force wall that blocks both Superman's heat vision and the blasts of 2 Manhunter staffs without cracking.
J'onn is able to read John's thoughts from a distant star system. Telepathy appears to be instantaneous even across light years of distance. The Javelin is able to reach the distant planet in a short period of time though there is no mention of how it manages this. Does the JL have some kind of hyperdrive?
Flash ducks back in the Javelin rather than face half a dozen alien cops. This is odd, there's no reason I can see he couldn't have disarmed them all in under a second.
J'onn uses telepathy to put one of the cops to sleep. He does this at close range and after making eye contact. It's not clear if these are limits, but this is the only time in the series he uses a telepathic attack.

Good question. Also if you want to truly judge how powerful Superman is you have to take his feats from the Superman Animated Series as well. Good thread though.

Gets across the idea nicely
Yea, not really. All we have is Superman's word for the "world of cardboard" thing. That actual 'fight' where he supposedly stops holding back, is hardly an impressive showing.

Oh wait, that's right... -.-
If this is Supes going all out, then I'm not impressed. He did the same things with Captain Marvel.

I think you missed the point of the video. -.- It's a popular quote used to signify Superman's power, don't overthink it.

Here are some more Superman DCAU feats for you guys to discuss. I love the DCAU. To discuss feats for Batman and Superman you need to use the past other series that came before as well that they had. Not just Justice League Unlimited. The Superman racing Flash episode is one of my favorites:
Superman vs Darkseid (Superman animated series)
Superman vs Captain Marvel (JLU)
Superman racing Flash (Superman animated series)
Superman vs Doomsday (JLU episode)
