How could you hate Lil' Wayne? I hate him because of his cliched production, average at best lyricism, and the stupid content of his songs.

Yea Big Boi vs Andre 3000 on which one of them is better is very debatable. In my opinion Andre 3000. When he gets serious and wants to really flow he is f**king great.

You're going to have to explain what you mean by cliched production.

Average lyricism? Are we listening to the same Wayne? Granted, his style has def changed from Carter I to Carter IV. Everything he spits though, is fire. I legit just woke up so excuse me, but, I'm having a having a hard time thinking of a VERSE that was average. Jay and Kanye aren't going to come at you because of your 'average lyricisim'. The man no longer writes anything down and spits from the dome and IMO, when he stopped writing shit down, he got better. I'm in the minority I think, because a majority of the people I know, like the Carter 2 and the Carter more than the Cater III and Carter IV. The Carter III and IV are his best ands down IMO. There's more to his flows, like a part of him in it. He doesn't just say stupid shit to hurry up and get an album out. The man actually puts himself into his music and I love it.

Go to 3:25... IMO one of his best vereses ever

I'll get into it more later

I don't get it. That verse is about him being the best ever. Isn't that like 99% of his verses?

The production is average. It sounds like a million other beats, it's boring as hell and unoriginal, and I especially hate it when he tries to do guitar shit. Just no. No. You suck.

How is that verse even competent? It's random, completely stupid in content, and the flow is basic. It's just nothing special, it's nothing unique at all. Compare this to a lyricist like eminem where he literally has rhymes compounded on eachother, assonance and sound themes within lines, and where nearly almost every single word in the whole damn song flows with themselves. Can you seriously not hear the difference?

Wayne is far from my favorite rapper but comparing him to Eminem is a tad unfair. I agree with you though, there was a time when Wayne was very clever with his lyrics but now (imo) he is far from level of many of the artsit who were named in the thread.
