I'm a big fan of Jamie Reyes, that's no secrete.

I HATED him and all of the Blue Beetle run after the new-52 was sealed as the new deal and honestly, I'm glad the book was canned.  Nothing about him was what made me like Jamie to begin with.  I know it comes off as bitter and unwilling to change, but come on!  They took out the fact that Jamie's family and friends knew he was the Blue Beetle.  That was interesting and made for a hell of a lot more jokes and good stories.

Screw you DC.  SCREW YOU WITH A SANDPAPER *Bagel*.

Nick Fury.

Why just why, did Marvel create this character?

I love Superman and Wonder Woman, but the versions of the characters in All Star Batman and Robin are assholes.

And George Clooney-dressed-as-Batman is terrible.

There are two Nick Furys in 616. The original Nick Fury and his son Nick Fury who is 616's version of Ultimate Nick Fury. He could be talking about the fact they made his son Nick Fury and brought him to have a Nick Fury similar Sam Jackson's character in the Avengers film and Ultimate Marvel in 616.

Now if we are talking new 52 horrible characters. Captain Marvel takes the top spot. God they f**ked his character up.

It might just be because they're different to how they were before, but I don't really like a lot of the New 52 characters. Most of the New Teen Titans, for example, have completely different back stories and/or personalities, plus that whole 100-issue series has apparently been retconned out of existence.

Yeah but in Captain Marvel's case they made Billy Batson a hateful little brat who you just can't like. What's even worse is the fact when Billy turns into Captain Marvel that little brat has control. I haven't been given one reason to like that character so far.

Ehh well while I do like that they made him more realistic I'd have to agree. Though I'd like to assume they did this so he can progress to being more of a good person. Though I do miss the all American boy Billy this one I believe has a bit of potential as a character. Now if you want a character they really messed up in the same way look at Supergirl. She turned bratty, selfish and uncaring of her families problem. A total bitch now.

If it was a Bat-family story chances are that they'd end up being complete jackasses or worse.

I don't think she was meant to come off bratty and uncaring. I think her wanting Krypton to come back got in the way of common sense and doing the right thing. Your right though she seems to not care about Superman her only family and that bothers me. I hope that changes now that Hel is gone. I will say I loved that battle with Wonder Woman.

He's just so, odd to say the least. I mean the Punisher is one thing, but do we really need a secret agent in a universe filled with superheros?

He's not just a secret agent. In his first appearances, he was a soldier, then the head of a (completely necessary) international task force, then he was the mentor to a fugitive team of superheroes.

Yes, yes you do. You need the Amanda Wallers and Nick Furys to show that somebody is keeping an eye on the caped and cowled crowd. Heck, if Marvel treated Fury like DC had Waller, he'd probably get his eye back in the revamp, so we can at least be glad that didn't happen.

(Please tell me that didn't actually happen).

I can't stand the new Static Shock, may be old news but...he went from awesome (Pre new 52) to well, an African American emo kinda glad they canned the series but then again I blame the writers, he had potential but it was squandered

People are still talking about characters they hate which is what the thread is for.

LOL you have a problem with that? I don't. I actually like the fact we saw that Amanda Waller was a good secret agent part of Team 7. She should have been like that in the first place and yea looking like a Halle Berry was a good move. Keeping her brillance and great manipulation of things was another nice addition too.

Red Hood. He's just annoying. He's snarky, and way too cocky; you'd think dying might humble a guy, but no. He has the intellectual self-awareness of a frat boy stereotype, and any personal character conflict seems forced. And he's in way too many crossovers; if he's gonna have his own story, give him his own story, he shouldn't be coming back to Gotham every two weeks to pick up Bruce's laundry.

If I were in charge I'd rename it from Red Hood and the Outcasts to Starfire in Lingerie and the Annoying Jackasses. At least then it would honestly reflect what you're getting.

Too true. Arsenal and Red Hood are super boring.

Captain Marvel has always been lame imo.

Also, Cassandra Cain is so overrated. She used to be cool, till everyone started assuming she could beat Batman, Darkseid, and God with her eyes closed in hand to hand combat.

Miles Morales. I can't stand the character at all.
His origin was crap, his personality is crap, and his powers are cheap.
