Yeah, I was kind of shocked when I heard the news. Ebert had just announced that his cancer had re-emerged and he was taking a "leave of presence" from working just two days prior. It's a real shame. Between his movie reviews in the Chicago Sun-Times (which I've read on and off throughout the years) and his shows Siskel and Ebert and later Ebert and Roeper, Roger Ebert was a legend here in Chicago and around the U.S. 


R.I.P. Ebert. The balcony is closed. :(

Big lost and I think he was probably the best critic in Hollywood. Very honest with his reviews and very respected in Hollywood.
