Has anyone heard of it? It's basically this indie fighting game using the MUGEN engine. I never liked MUGEN much, but this one is awesome because all the character sprites are made from scratch. All the characters' sprites resemble Namco X Capcom sprites a bit.

The fighting system also looks epic. It's kind of like Marvel vs Capcom in the respect that combo possibilities are endless. Every character looks like they have a super combo, and a 'crisis chain combo', where the player character just runs at the opponent while barraging them with projectiles. There are also character cards, which summon another character to help out like an assist. There are over 800 cards at the moment to choose from. For that reason, it's been in development hell for a few years.

The playable characters that I know of so far are:
Sonic the Hedgehog
Bowser (Super Mario)
Donkey Kong
Link (Legend of Zelda)
Samus Aran (Metroid)
Chun-Li (Street Fighter)
Master Chief (Halo)
Soma Cruz (Castlevania)
Leon Magnus (Tales of Destiny)
Ivy (Soul Calibur)
Chocobo
Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy 7)
Reiji (Namco X Capcom)
Nina (Breath of Fire)
Yugo (Bloody Roar)
Etna (Disgaea)
Crono (Chrono Trigger)

Yeah, it's quite a lot, but there are still more on their way! (apparently)

The full version isn't out yet, but there are a few demos I think. If anyone's played any demos, can you send me a link? I haven't actually played any myself yet.

It's meant to be a lot smoother, has better graphics and homemade sprites. It's a lot better than playing as a bunch of crappy copy-and-pasted sprites from other games.

Also, the music is freakin' epic! Even that cheesy Namco X Capcom intro music sounds good in this.
