They decided to work together and invaded a small space station near Saturn. The Andros defeated a Tricearaton warrior and moved on.
The dinosaur man was strong but still no match for the Red Space Ranger. Andros was a little embarrassed that he had to resort to his blaster, but he had a feeling that there was something more important to do. Better to conserve his energy for a more powerful foe.
With the Silverhawks engaging the Triceraton soldiers, it was very likely that a few stragglers would be destroying vital information.
What Andros found when he hopped into the room in which the Triceraton which he had defeated seemed to be guarding was not handful of the same species of soldiers but an entirely different being.
It seemed to be a poorly designed android with a sentient brain housed in the stomach cavity. He seemed to be preparing an escape on a single being transmat pad. That meant that the battle was lost to them. The Silverhawks were going to win.
Bealching and gargling the whole time he talked, Krang threatened him. “You think you’ve accomplished something? You don’t know how wrong you are!”
“We’ll see what you’re saying once you’re in custody!” Andros boasted back.
Forgetting his escape for the moment, Krang suddenly morphed his left arm into a cannon and shot off two rounds that Andros wasn’t ready to dodge. He recovered and staggered to his feet just as Krang was reaching him.
This time, Krang’s left arm morphed into a spiked ball and chain and he swung it down at the Red Space Ranger with all his android body’s heft behind it.Andros cleared the attack and began thinking of ways to deal with this being. If there was someone to be taken alive, this was the guy.
Krang is mainly out to escape. If he can kill Andros before he leaves, all the better.
Andros is out to capture Krang.
Does Andros have the power to defeat Krang single handedly?

Krang's android body is indeed stronger than Andross and may even have more melee weaponry and raw firepower, but it's also slow and plodding and offers no real shielding for Krang's brain form.
Just as the set-up itself says, poorly designed.
So, Andross can probably use his much superior quickness to dislodge Krang from his android fairly easily.
