The avengers have just returned from fighting mandrin in china when the phone rings.

Cyclops: Hey steve its me scott i have some bad news.

We then see the rest of the avengers talking.

Ironman: I wonder who cap is talking to it doesnt sound good.

Thor: Well who ever it is tell them to call the fantastic four i am beat.

Hawkeye: Bullseye big guy anything except for a bus full of supermodels breaking down im not going anywhere.

Cap A: Clint can i talk to you.

Hawkeye: I knew that was coming whats up cap.

Cap A: That was cyclops just now he was telling me how the professor was trying to hel wolverine with some missing memories when wolverine remember everything and as he ran out of the mansion they heard him mention your name.

Hawkeye: Damn i prayed that this would never happen if he starts sniffing around the mansion tell him that ill be at the place where he got those nice metal claws.

Cap A: Wait soldier you need to be debriefeeeeeeeeeed......................

We se Hawkeye has stuck cap with a knockout arrow. Then we see him hop in a quinjet and fly off.

In canada at an abbandoned weapon x whearhouse we see wolverine sniffing the air.

Wolvie: I can smell ya hawkeye or should i say clint barton bodyguard for william stryker and the man that captured me so weapon x could take my memories and turn me into a switch blade.

Hawkeye hits wolverine in the eye with an arrow electrocuting him.

Hawkeye i was a kid i didnt know what they were going to do to you they told me you were a terrorist i was just following orders.

So the battle has begun the two fighters are in a room 150 ft away from each other but there is tables and chairs scattered around the room to hide behind there are also two more floors above them.

Wolverine just has his adamantium claws.

Hawkeye has night vision goggles.
4 exploding arrows
4 electric arrows
4 knockout gas arrows
6 adamantium tipped arrows
6 sticky ooze exploding arrows.
16 normal steel tipped arrows.

Hawkeye isn't getting out of this alive.

He has absolutely nothing in his arsenal that will put Wolverine down for good, and once Wolverine wakes up after being knocked out, he'll simply track Hawkeye down once more and try to kill him again, eventually Hawkeye is dead.

It depends what is required to be registered as a win.
If they need to kill eachother then Wolveriene wins because Hawkeye does not have what it takes to kill Logan permanently, and he is not a killer anyway.

If it is enough to knock wolveriene out so Hawkeye can get away untill Wolveriene has calmed down enough to listen to reason, then it could go either way. Maybe with a slight advantage to Wolveriene.

Yeah, depends on what a win is. I'm going to assume it's this fight here and now. With the weapons he's got, I think Hawkeye can keep himself alive.

Although, if it's win by KO then Hawkeye can do so pretty easily, considering the set up. But otherwise, see above.

Clint could, since he has access to the same aircraft he arrived in, knock Wolverine out long enough to detain him, then dump him in a nearby body of water. Unconscious, Wolverine would drown. There are plenty of lakes and such in Canada, and the jet is plenty fast enough.

Avengers movie version Hawkeye would win versus movie version Logan and comic versions of both, Wolverine would win.

if you read House of M, Hawkeye shot Logan in the throat and pretty much won that little scuffle, but Logan got up after a few seconds. Hawkeye is more than a beefed up Robin Hood, he is as good with an arrow as a sniper is with his sniper rifle.

His trick arrows are very versatile and if he has a magnetic tip lol (he doesn't) but if he did he could shoot it near logan and make Logan unable to move if the magnet is strong enough.

Hawkeye is smart and could drown him as well.

Not one sided just Logan is hard to kill.

Pymp has a point and is on to something. A adamantium tipped arrow to the throat would put Wolverine down for a good while. That would actually count as a win here. Okay setup.

What if he did what the Athiest did in that Punisher/Wolverine crossover and put an arrow through his temple? That kept Logan incapacitated for a good, long while.

Arrows to the ear could work, and Hawkeye is more than capable of doing that. If Fury can do it close range with a knife, than Clint can do it too. He'll just have to deal with Logan while he is down, because we all know Logan will get back up.

If Wolverine got washed up on a river bank or a beach somewhere after being drowned while unconscious, would he then sort of heal from drowning?
