Considering there's no set-up this is up to my imagination. So, I'm giving the Rangers Superman like abilities because they were all bitten by a a radioactive Superman. The Rangers with their new-found powers take out Superman (cause he bit them. Who wouldn't stop a guy like that.) The Rangers become a new group called the Supermen. Then Darkseid invades and it's up to the Superman to stop him.
So 5 Supermen, in my eyes, can beat Darkseid. Rangers FTW!
